I believe this to be a very unique opportunity for all Toyota fanatics like myself, I'm in the business to resell so here goes. Original owner was a service manager at the local Toyota dealership. Through an auto wholesaler the car made it to the largest auto auction in the world, Manheim Auto Auction and that is where I purchased it last week. It's a very special car and I hope all you ebayers out there appreciate it as much as I do.

It is a 1976 Toyota Corolla with Automatic, A/C and rear defrost options. All original in everyway and its in darn near perfect condition. All brakes, tires, shocks, belts and fluids, and battery just replaced (with genuine Toyota parts of course) and it is fully road worthy. Everything is working like it should including the Air Conditioning. Drives absolutely perfect, no shimmies, shakes, pulling or brake pulsing. All doors, hood, and trunk shut great and are aligned nice. All glass and lenses, rubber moldings all in great shape with no cracks or dry rot. Body is straight wholesome and original, never had any collision work done, no rust ever, not a speck currently on any of the seams top or bottom, the underbody is dry and clean and free from any type of rust and leaking as well.

You will be very pleased with this eye catcher, I stopped to put some fuel in it and I had three onlookers asking about the car, it's a real conversation starter. If I had room to store more cars this one would definitely be in my personal collection. Feel free to ask questions but please don't insult me with low ball offers, I had to pay top dollar to bring it to the ebay marketplace and I believe it is well worth what I'm asking. I have a clean and clear title in hand and ready to transfer. Thanks, Travis 717-991-8991

Question of the Day: Ever consider driving a minivan?

Thu, May 12 2016

Since I'm supposed to know something about cars, it happens all the time: friends and relatives ask me advice about what kind of vehicle they should get. Very often, the only type of vehicle that can check every item on their wish list (e.g., hauls lots of people and stuff, gets good fuel economy, has great crash-test ratings, can take four Great Danes camping, and so on) is a modern minivan... and, of course, nobody wants to hear this. I'm not a minivan person, they will wail, and so they end up with a cramped, fuel-swilling SUV or a not-so-space-efficient minivan-in-disguise CUV. So, is it worth becoming one of those minivan people in order to get the incredible usefulness of these masterpieces of vehicle engineering, or do you hold your head high and drive something that doesn't quite meet your needs? 2014 Toyota Tundra to debut at Chicago Auto Show

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

The fullsize pickup market is dominated by trucks from Ford, General Motors and Ram, but this segment could get some hefty competition in coming years. We've already reported that Nissan is planning a redesign of its Titan truck for 2015, and now Toyota has announced that it will be revealing the 2014 Tundra next month at the Chicago Auto Show.
In the brief press release posted below, Toyota says that the 2014 Tundra will be "redesigned," but it's unclear as to whether this means we'll be seeing an all-new truck or just an extensive refresh. The current Tundra design has been around since 2007 and sales are hardly worrisome to the Big Three, so a new design would be a logical guess.
In any case, we only have to wait a couple more weeks for the new Tundra to debut on February 7, and we'll be on hand to bring you plenty of live coverage from the show.

Toyota teams with FirstElement Fuel on 19 hydrogen stations in California

Fri, May 2 2014

Cross Toyota with a former General Motors and Hyundai executive and you might just get some real momentum when it comes to hydrogen refueling station deployment. Toyota and FirstElement Fuel Inc., which is headed by ex-GM and Hyundai executive Joel Ewanick, are working together on a project designed to complement California's agreement to spend about $200 million building 100 stations in the state. And while Toyota didn't put out any specific numbers, Automotive News reports that FirstElement received a $27.6 million grant from the California Energy Commission to build 19 stations, which will be sited at existing fueling spots and spaced far enough apart to be reachable by anyone within the state. In all, California has granted $47 million for the deployment of 28 new stations. Additionally, Toyota will get Linde to build a refueling station on a Toyota-owned property in the San Francisco Bay Area's San Ramon, Calif. Toyota, which is targeting a full-tank range of 300 miles and a five-minute refueling time for its fuel-cell sedan, had its fuel-cell prototype make its North American debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January. The company said at the time that 68 stations could serve 10,000 hydrogen vehicles. And while that station number doesn't sound terribly high, consider that there are fewer than 10 hydrogen refueling stations in California now. Check out Toyota's press release below and Autoblog's impressions from a drive of one of Toyota's fuel-cell prototypes late last year here. Toyota Collaborates with FirstElement, Providing Financial Assistance to Facilitate a Hydrogen Refueling Network in Targeted California Locations Toyota also will collaborate with hydrogen provider Linde, which will build a public hydrogen refueling facility at the Toyota San Francisco Regional Office May 01, 2014 TORRANCE, Calif. (May 1, 2014) – "The issue of hydrogen refueling infrastructure is not so much about how many stations; but rather, location, location, location," stated Bob Carter, senior vice president, Automotive Operations, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS), just four months ago at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas where he unveiled a hydrogen fuel cell sedan due to launch in 2015. "Solutions are being found through collaboration between government, academia, carmakers and energy providers.
