This auction is for a 1990 Toyota Celica Alltrac.
The car runs and drives great and is rust free. It has approx 74,000 miles. The car's odometer was replaced in 1991 with 8700 miles on it and the odometer currently reads 65600. I have a signed affidavit from the prior owner explaining that the odometer was replaced because of faulty cruise control. Before I bought the car I pulled a Carfax because the title says "not actual mileage" and the Carfax showed that the mileage I've stated is accurate.
The Bad:
The car needs tires asap, all 4 tires need replaced. I was planning on getting new rims so I didn't buy new tires for the car. Since I'm selling I'll just leave it up to the new owner replace the tires. Currently the spare is on the car, the spare is in very good condition, I'm not sure if it was ever put on before I put it on.
The AC needs recharged.
There is a dent in the driver side fender. You can see it in the pics, it was like that when I bought the car but it appears it was caught on something as the car was being backed out and it pulled the fender out some.
The driver side steering rack boot needs replaced.
It has a minor oil leak, I believe its coming from the oil pan gasket but wasn't able to very exactly where its coming from. Its a very minor leak and the car doesn't use much oil.
It has old window tint that is peeling and needs removed.
It has minor hail damage, mostly on the sunroof. I tried to show it in the photos but it is hard to see.
It needs new brake pads.
the car has the usual minor paint chips etc for a nearly 25 year old car. The wiper arms have rusted and need repainted or replaced. They work fine, they just need a cosmetic touchup.
The interior is in excellent shape with a leather interior. The back seats look pretty much brand new, the front are in excellent shape but have some cracking and normal wear from being sat in. The drivers side seat also has a small hole in the side where the door shut on the seat belt and pushed it into the seat.
There is a place on the hood that looks stained. This may buff out, it's hard to see if you're not looking at the right angle but it looks as if something was on the hood and made the color where it touched slightly off. It didn't affect the clear coat and again, this may come out if detailed, I've only washed the car with soap and water and can't remove it that way.
The Good:
The car is in excellent overall condition and is rust free.
I've been using car as my daily driver for 3 months since I bought it and have had zero issues with the car. It runs and drives perfectly. Everything on the car works as it should. The power windows work perfectly.
It has the System Ten stereo with the original factory dual CD/Cassette player and sounds great.
As far as I know the car is all original and has never been modified.
I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if I get an acceptable offer.
Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Lightweight Toyota GT86 spotted on Nordschleife with carbon panels, upgraded aero
Tue, 24 Jun 2014We've seen (and frankly reported on) so many rumors of more powerful and performance-focused versions of the Subaru BRZ, Toyota GT86 and Scion FR-S at this point that haven't materialized that, at this point, we're almost tired of them. Almost. But what we have here was enough to pique our jaded interests as only a carbon-bodied sports car on the Nürburgring could do.
What we're looking at is, well, we don't quite know, to tell you the truth. What we can tell is that it's a Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S for us) wearing new wheels and a carbon-fiber hood, roof, racing-spec rear wing and subtle lip spoiler. The vents in the hood indicate that the prototype in question could be packing an upgraded engine to go with the lighter body panels and upgraded aero, and the interior (at least as far as we can see) looks pretty well stripped out.
The right-hand drive configuration tells us this is either destined for former territories of the British Empire or for the racetrack. Considering the ride height, full glass and apparent lack of roll cage, our money's on this prototype is being developed for the Japanese Domestic Market, where Toyota badges the sports car simply as the 86. We can always hope, though, that some version makes it into Scion showrooms in North America... we just won't get our hopes up too high.
Autoblog Minute: VW Q3 financial woes, 2015 Tokyo Motor Show
Fri, Oct 30 2015Consumer Reports pulls its Tesla recommendation, the U.S. Copyright Office offers a ruling affecting car owners, VW gets hit hard with third-quarter losses, and lots of exciting news from Tokyo. Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Consumer Reports pulls its Tesla recommendation, the U.S. copyright office offers a ruling that affects car owners and gear heads, VW gets hit hard with third-quarter losses, and lots of exciting news from Tokyo. I'm senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. After a week away testing vehicles for Autoblog's Tech of the Year award, we're back in the office to recap the week in automotive news. [00:00:30] One of the things you might have missed was Consumer Reports pulling its recommendation of Tesla's Model S sedan. The blemish for Tesla comes after a tally of reviews from customer surveys. The most common problem areas for the Model S as cited by survey takers included: the drivetrain, power equipment, charging equipment, body and sunroof squeaks, rattles, and leaks. So lots of stuff. Though they could not ignore a score of "worse-than-average", Consumer Reports still [00:01:00] highlighted the fact that the Model S was "the best performing car" they've ever tested. Telsa CEO Elon Musk took to social media to defend his sedans saying: "Consumer Reports reliability survey includes a lot of early production cars. Already addressed in new cars." And, "Tesla gets top rating of any company in service. Most important, CR says 97% of owners expect their next car to be a Tesla (the acid test)." In Financial news, Volkswagen took a hit and reported an operating loss of [00:01:30] $3.84 billion. This is the first such loss for VW in 15 years. Toyota reclaimed the crown as the world's largest automaker as well. It's important that it's not all doom and gloom for VW though in Q3. Sales revenues were up and the company's automotive division boasts $30 billion dollars in liquid assets. It's a sizable war chest that will no doubt come in handy, as the company has yet to feel the full brunt of the diesel emissions scandal. Good news for gear heads. The US copyright office [00:02:00] ruled in favor of mechanics and car owners by granting an exception to existing copyright law. The law was originally meant to prevent software pirating and bootlegging of Hollywood movies.
Manga stylized Toyota Aygo takes on Godzilla
Thu, 13 Nov 2014Japan has given the world so much to enthuse over. We're not sure the Toyota Aygo is necessarily one of them as much as, say, the Scion FR-S or Lexus LFA (especially since it's actually made in Europe), but for many Nipponophiles, the centuries-old artistic discipline of Manga certainly is. And now the two have come together in this two-and-a-half-minute animated short.
In Toyota's own take on the classic narrative, an Aygo animated by celebrated artist Sonia Leong takes on Godzilla. As in, a giant lizard rampaging through a Japanese city, not the Nissan GT-R, against which the little Toyota would certainly stand even less of a chance by any metric other than affordability, fuel economy or ability to park in tight spots.
In any case, watch this Manga-fied video above, and feel free to read through the related press release below.
