An old school Celica automatic. The car is in Good condition derivable. it does need body work. Pros: new starter, alternator, battery, timing change kit,Engine & transmission seals,all tide rod ends and sleeves new , spark plug cables,rebuild head.strong engine and transmission. Cons: Pittman arms need replace,sunroof leaks with heavy rain, it have a minor oil leak (gasket oil pan) that is what i see, passenger door need latch, inside need minor TLC & it does need body work. Oil pressure is good, lights,brakes are good, does not heat and it does run. Clean title. i put $2700 in parts and labor. i will accept a good offer for it so i can finish my other one. this car will make a good protect for the right individual that appreciate a good Old school car. Oh Buoy! Toyota sinks to Spongebob depths with custom Highlander
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The launch of the 2014 Toyota Highlander is being assisted by Bikini Bottom's number one resident, SpongeBob SquarePants. The new crossover has been wrapped with SpongeBob's square mug all over it as if he's saying "I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready," from every direction. Inside is a cabin that Toyota says "captures all of the beloved character's high-octane energy," but might make you question whether this is really the world you want to live in.
Revealed on SpongeBob Day at the San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants baseball game in San Diego, CA on July 13, the Highlander will go from there to seven locations nationwide on a "Happy Driving Tour," ending at the LA Auto Show in November.

Toyota raises Japanese base wages for first time since 2008
Fri, 14 Mar 2014Toyota is on track for record profits, and in return, its Japanese workers are receiving their first increase in base wages since 2008, plus higher pay based on seniority and a larger bonus for 2014. The Japanese automaker predicts the average laborer will net a 2.9 percent income gain.
The average Toyota employee will earn 2,700 yen ($26.28) more each month, a 0.8 percent increase from last year. Workers will also receive about 7,300 yen ($71.09) more monthly based on seniority and promotions. Finally, the company's union pushed through a median bonus of 2.44 million yen ($23,768) for 2014, the highest in 6 years.
The pay boost comes as Toyota forecasts a record 1.9-trillion yen ($18.5 billion) profit for the fiscal year ending on March 31, according to Bloomberg. It has been helped by the Japanese government's efforts to weaken the yen on international markets and expand inflation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been asking businesses to increase compensation to end years of deflation and offset upcoming higher sales taxes. Honda and Nissan have also raised their wages there in recent months.
