Up for auction is a very beautiful 2009 Toyota Camry 2.4L Hybrid This car looks beautiful, looks new in almost all areas. It only has 38,013 miles! That comes out to less than 8,000 miles driven per year. I just took a look at the seller buyback protection offered by eBay on this beautiful Toyota Camry. This car registered an off the charts score of 93 with AutoCheck/Experian. Similar vehicles score between 86 -91 according to AutoCheck. So, compare and Buy it Now! Please view the report... Seller reserves the right to cancel this auction at anytime. This Toyota Camry Hybrid is for sale in multiple venues and will be sold for the highest offer. We the sellers believe this is a great value and price. Please feel free to make a realistic offer at any time. We are listening. PROS: All maintenance done by Toyota. Inspected by Toyota, approved by AutoCheck. It runs perfectly too. Everything works, just like it should. Really this car runs and drives like a dream. Carefully maintained. Owned by a mature and very neat medical professional. This car has all the bells and whistles including dealer installed "limo" tint to all back windows. This provides privacy and we find this to be a very classy and very conservative look for this car. The dark window tint protects the leather too. CONS: There are some very small paint scratches(very hard to photo) and marks from parking on the wheels. Those are the only areas that show use. Tires were rated for 50K miles. So, if you want new ones please factor that into your budget! We have already factored that into the asking price! If you wish to inspect the vehicle contact : saleguys, through the eBay message board, please. Please read the entire listing before placing your bid! The pictures show the exact car and condition. Please ask all questions before you bid. IMPORTANT TERMS: The winning bidder of this auction must: Serious buyer's only, please 1) Submit a $500. deposit in good faith toward full purchase price, at auction end. 2) make payment in full within (7) Seven calendar days from the end of auction date. 3) provide your own financing, please have your funds in place before you bid. 4) Must pick up the car from the San Francisco/Oakland, Bay area within (7) days. 5) Your bid represents a binding legal contract, please honor it. Please note, I am selling this vehicle for a family member. It has been owned by the same family since new. We are not car dealers, financiers, mechanics, or tax experts. This is the car as shown in the pictures, you must be willing to take it as it is, for the price we are asking. We will not renegotiate after the auction! Kelley blue book lists this Toyota Camry with the same low mileage for $16,400 from a private party. We are just normal people, we cannot do all the things the multi-million dollar dealership can. Then again we are not charging anywhere near the dealer price... I am just trying to sell the family car to someone that recognizes a great deal, please. Serious buyer only, please! Thank you for reading and understanding the important terms, looking, and bidding, saleguys |

Union to launch Toyota organization drive in Canada
Sun, 12 Jan 2014Toyota may be heading toward some labor issues in the Great White North, as employees at a pair of Canadian Toyota factories may be set for a certification vote. The Unifor union, which was the result of a merger last year between the Canadian Auto Workers and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers union, will be holding the vote.
Over 40 percent of the employees at the Woodstock and Cambridge, Ontario factories have signed union cards, cresting the minimum percentage required to instigate a legal certification vote, according to Reuters. The Woodstock factory is responsible for RAV4 production, while Cambridge builds the Lexus RX350 and RX450h, as well as the Toyota Corolla. The two factories employ nearly 7,000 people.
It's unclear when the union will hold a certification vote at the two factories, but what is rather clear are the worker complaints. Employees are concerned about workers being hired on temporary contracts which lack the benefits of full employment, John Aman, head of organizing for Unifor, told Reuters.
Toyota reaffirms commitment to body-on-frame SUVs
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Toyota sold 121,055 Highlander CUVs in 2012, according to Automotive News. By comparison, it sold 78,457 examples of four different body-on-frame, truck-based SUVs (4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Sequoia and Land Cruiser). One could argue then, that the traditional SUVs aren't pulling their weight from a sales perspective. Yet that isn't stopping Toyota from reaffirming its commitment to a segment that has seen its former champions - Ford, General Motors and Chrysler - abandon it with alarming speed. Ford and GM still offer body-on frame utilities, but only in the very largest offerings, catering to seven or even eight passengers. Everything outside of the Expedition or Tahoe rides now on a unibody.
Toyota's decision to stick with the technology is good news if you're in the market for smaller SUVs that are still capable of heading well off the beaten path. Outside of the Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee (a unibody) and perhaps Nissan Xterra, there's not much in terms of capable SUVs between $20,000 and $50,000. As the Toyota brand's US head, Bill Fay, says, "Clearly, the trend has shifted, but there is still an owner base that is interested in these vehicles."
We don't doubt Fay on that, but it may also be somewhat telling that Toyota's SUV lineup is aging, and we haven't seen or heard much about replacement models in the pipeline. Admittedly, the 4Runner (pictured) has been facelifted for 2014, but it's mostly cosmetic in nature. Despite Toyota's posturing, we still expect its body-on-frame lineup to thin in the coming years as sales dwindle and escalating fuel-economy standards make business cases even tougher. Here's hoping that Toyota manages to keep at least one rough-and-tumble SUV in its lineup in the coming years.
