The Sky Blue Pearl exterior retains a deep rich
shine. Based on its condition, it appears to have been
garage-kept. Color-coded bumpers, moldings, mirrors,
Tastefully Tinted windows, factory capped wheels and
almost new Firestone Precision Sport radials make this
Toyota Pleasing to the eye as well.

Inside...Just as nice! Climb in this one and Comfort
abounds. The interior is ergonomically excellent, with
big climate and audio knobs that are easy to adjust.
Gray Patterned seating surfaces are clean, fresh, and
look almost New! Carpets, dash, and door panels are, as
you would expect, excellent.

Power windows, locks and
mirrors work as designed as does the Driver's Power Seat. The
air conditioning is Awesome, cooling the cabin readily even in
the HOT Florida sun. The Factory Toyota AM/FM/CD sounds Great
and even has steering wheel controls to keep you eyes on the
road.

This One is Really NICE, and it truly makes driving
enjoyable.

Mechanically?.... The 2.4 Liter VVTi engine is near
legendary and is enough for any driving situation. It is
also stingy on gas...something we can all appreciate
these days. Toyota's are said to "Run Forever." Well,
that may be a "slight" exaggeration. But, with only
57,000 miles on this one, it's sure to provide the new
owner with Many trouble-free miles.

Across town or across the country, this one is up to
the task....and ready to do it with Style and Comfort!
The friends and neighbors can only be left to wonder how
you found such a gorgeous car with these miles, color
and history, for so few dollars.

****PLEASE
READ BEFORE BIDDING****
-
We ask
that all successful bidders please contact me within 24
hours of auction end to begin process of completing the
sale. Please do not make a bid on my car if you have no
intention of buying it. Time is precious, let's not waste
each other's. We promise to be fair to you, please do the
same for us.
-
All
vehicles are sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or
implied. Buyer assumes all responsibility once vehicle
leaves our possession. The vehicle will be described
accurately, but remember these are used cars, they will show
signs as such. You are not bidding on brand new cars, so
there may be parts of the vehicle that are not brand new. We
are sure this is obvious to most people, but we just want it
to be perfectly clear. We will do our best to describe all
the obvious and important things so you have a good idea of
what you are buying. With advance notice we will make our
vehicles available for a PRE-BID inspection. This must be
completed prior to bidding.
-
All
vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage
guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If we have
documentation to back up the miles on these older cars, we
will.

transfer. A $500 dollar non- refundable deposit (PayPal
preferred) must be received within 3 business days following

Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to
Florida law, if an out-of-state purchaser takes delivery of
a vehicle in the state of Florida we are obligated as a
licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the
purchasers state sales tax. The purchaser will then be given
a receipt proving tax paid to present to their tax
collectors office for sales tax credit. This does not apply
to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in
Florida.
-
Buyer assumes the cost of shipping and insurance. We already
have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the U.S.A. and
will be glad to arrange this for you, and give you cost
estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in, we will
arrange transportation from the Ft. Myers International
Airport.

It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder and Assistant Editor Zac Palmer. They do a rundown of the latest news, including rumors of the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma sharing a platform, Jeep's insane Easter Safari concepts and an upcoming "entry level" performance Ford Mustang. Then they talk about driving the new Chevrolet Blazer and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, and compare driving the Genesis G70 to the Kia Stinger. Finally, they take to Reddit to spend someone's money on a new crossover. We now have pricing for Toyota's redesigned 2014 Highlander, which is seeing moderate price hikes across the board. Prices for the popular crossover have been bumped from less than 1 percent to less than 3 percent on lower-end models (anywhere from $125 to $890, depending on trim). Toyota has increased prices on higher-end XLE and Limited models more substantially - between 4.1 and 4.5 percent ($1,480 to $1,700). The Highlander Hybrid sees its price increase 2 percent ($930). The new model will be available in four different trims and with either front or all-wheel drive.
The absolute cheapest member of the Highlander range, the base LE, with a four-cylinder and front-wheel drive starts at $30,075, an increase of just $195. The LE is also available with a V6 and all-wheel drive, with the bigger engine upping the price to $31,380. All-wheel drive models start at $32,840. A slightly pricier LE Plus starts at $33,600 for a V6 FWD model and $35,060 if you add all-wheel drive.
Next up, we have the XLE, which starts at $36,900 for FWD models and moves up to $38,360 for AWD. The top-tier Limited model starts at $40,500 in FWD spec, grips-at-all-fours versions will retail for $41,960. For those that want the very top of the Highlander range, there's the Platinum Pack, which adds the Driver's Tech Pack (adaptive cruise control, pre-collision warning, lane departure warning and automatic high beams), a panoramic moonroof, heated steering wheel and heated second-row seats to the already well-equipped Limited model. Highlander Platinums start at $42,990 and $44,450, depending on how many tires are doing the work. (Note: All prices include an $860 destination and handling charge.)
