-Vehicle has a major oil leak issue in the motor where all oil leaks within a day.
- It is missing the stereo and all speakers, but harness is still in place so an install is still possible. -Normal wear through the years with a few minor dents and the left front side lamp is cracked. -The air filter box has been replaced with a Weapon R Dragon Cold Air Intake. -Spark plugs and wires have recently been changed. -The vehicle is on lowering springs, but will come with the stock springs as well. -The shocks and struts show wear and are nearing the end of life span, will need replaced soon. -The entire vehicle has been Plasti Dipped Blurple. This can be peeled off if desired. -The exhaust contains a super 10 muffler, and has had the resonator removed. -The Check Engine light remains on at nearly all times, has been viewed by mechanics and has been found to be a sensor issue. -The brackets on the trunk are for a wing, which will come with vehicle as well. -The vehicle has an Astra alarm system with remote start. -The headlights have been replaced with angel eye headlights. -A Honda Accord lip has been mounted to the front bumper. -EZ Lip has been used for side skirts. ---- THE WHEELS PICTURED DO NOT COME WITH THE VEHICLE. IT WILL COME WITH THE STOCK, 15IN STEEL WHEELS. -Slide lamps have been tinted with VHT. -Original color is white -The windshield has recently been changed -The windows are tinted, not sure what percentage but it is fairly dark. The tint does show some wear over the years. This vehicle runs great, the oil leak has really been the only issue that has risen from this vehicle. The leak has been found by a mechanic to be in the oil pump gasket area. The plasti dip does show a little wear but none that is very noticeable. Interior shows normal wear over the years, but all still works and looks great. All installed parts work as intended and, if preferred, can always be reversed. If there are any questions or any pictures that you would like to be taken, do not hesitate to ask! I am more than happy to help in any way and will do so. |

Toyota delves into the history of its Land Cruiser
Fri, 06 Sep 2013One of the longest-produced, most widely distributed vehicles in all of automotive history is also one of its most rugged: the Toyota Land Cruiser. With 60 years of continuous production, 14 different model lines and thousands of variations of the Jeep-like sports utility vehicle, the Land Cruiser became a success worldwide and developed a cult following among enthusiasts here in the US.
We'll be the first to admit that tracing the vehicle's lineage from its humble beginnings as a prototype for Japan's National Police Reserve in 1951 to what it is today isn't an easy task, especially when one considers that the types of Land Cruisers produced traditionally have varied from market to market. For example, the Land Cruiser sold in the US is very different from the US-only 40 series Land Cruiser-inspired FJ Cruiser, which is itself different from the Land Cruiser Prado sold in other world markets.
To cover the Land Cruiser's sixty-plus year history from start to present, someone over at Toyota UK was thoughtful enough to devote a plus-size blog post to it. It's worth a read if you have a spare 10 or 15 minutes - and even if you don't, you can check out our historical gallery above. Enjoy!
A spotter's guide to Super Bowl LIV car commercials
Fri, Jan 31 2020Set to kick off on Fox at 6:30 ET on Sunday, February 2, from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, the big game will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Throughout Super Bowl LIV, viewers will see about 50 commercials, each of which costs as much as $5.6 million per 30 seconds, according to AdWeek. Originally, there were more than 77 ad slots, so several companies could be paying well more than $10 million for a single, longer commercial. Numerous car companies have already announced their commercials, or their intentions to show commercials, during the game. Here's a roundup of the ones we know about so far. During the game on Sunday, we'll be livestreaming and adding links to the new commercials as they become available, so check back with us for that post. Audi: E-Tron Sportback Maisie Williams has experience wearing many faces, and in Audi's Super Bowl commercial, she does her best Elsa impression. In the spot, titled "Let It Go," Williams faces the rigorous task of getting through L.A. traffic, but she's alleviated by the comfort of the Audi E-Tron Sportback electric crossover. The commercial is meant to signal the company leaving its gas past behind and moving forward to a sustainable future. Genesis: GV80 Genesis makes its Super Bowl debut with a commercial that will show its all-new SUV, the GV80, to viewers around the world (many of which will be seeing the vehicle for the first time). The ad features Chrissy Teigen and John Legend as the purveyors of "new luxury," while "old luxury" is left for the birds. GMC: Hummer General Motors is bringing back the Hummer nameplate as a premium electric GMC truck. GM says it will have 1,000 horsepower and will be capable of going zero to 60 mph in three seconds. GM brought in NBA legend and Hummer fanboy LeBron James for the debut commercial. Hyundai: Sonata Hyundai is known for bringing in the big-time celebrities for its commercials, and 2020 is no different. A new advertisement called "Smaht Pahk" features John Krasinski, Chris Evans, and Rachel Dratch, all three of whom are from the Boston area. The trio gets into full character as they discuss the new high-tech parking feature on the redesigned 2020 Hyundai Sonata, and David Ortiz makes a cameo at the end. Even when New England isn't in the Super Bowl, New England is in the Super Bowl.
Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
