I JUST HAD AN RI INSPECTION DONE ON THE CAR LAST MONTH, WHICH IT PASSED. GOOD FOR 2 YEARS. I JUST HAD THE CAR PAINTED WHICH I PAID $1250 AND I HAVE PAPERWORK ON IT TOO. THEY USED THE PAINT CODE ON CAR WHICH IS A NICE CRANBERRY RED AND TAN LEATHER INSIDE, WHICH IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THEY USED 2 COATS OF BASE COAT, THEN THEY USED 3 COATS OF CLEAR AND THEN BAKED IT. THIS CAR SHOULD LAST SOMEONE FOR ANOTHER 100,000 MILES AND THE NEXT 10 YEARS OR MORE. THE CAR RUNS GOOD AND LOOKS EXCELLENT. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO A PRE-INSPECTION BEFORE AUCTION'S END. IF BUYING THE CAR WITHIN RI THE SALE & THE CAR WILL COME WITH A BILL OF SALE & A CURRENT REGISTRATION THAT'S IN MY NAME, CUZ YOU DON'T NEED A TITLE IN RI IF THE CAR IS 10 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. Watch the Muppets go for ice cream in a Toyota
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Do Muppets drive? We're not sure it's necessarily a good idea, but it's been known to happen. Fozzy called his hibernating uncle's Studebaker a bear's "natural habitat," and Doctor Teeth wouldn't get the Electric Mayhem very far without his band's psychedelically painted school bus. But how about Rolf in a 2014 Toyota Highlander?
That's what we got a glimpse of in the run-up to the Super Bowl, and the same combination (plus one Rizzo the Rat) that features in this adorably ordinary video below. Ordinary because it's just a couple of guys going out for an ice cream. Adorable because, well... they're Muppets. See what we mean in the surprisingly entertaining two-minute clip below.
400-hp Toyota Hybrid-R Concept gets second teaser
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Toyota has released a second teaser of its Hybrid-R Concept, along with an estimation of the show car's power output. Using technology that's "similar to that used by Toyota Racing's TS030 Hybrid race car," the concept is expected to deliver over 400 horsepower.
The press release also mentions that the new concept is based on a current production model. While it's difficult to tell from the sole teaser image of the car's body, rumors are flying that it's related to the Yaris. If that's the case, though, it's difficult to know what to make of this concept. The teaser image is quite dark, but we played around with the exposure and came up with an image that reveals more details about the new concept. Take a look at the related gallery, below, to see the high-exposure image. We'll find out for certain what the Hybrid-R is in a few weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Toyota i-Road is no less strange in the flesh
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We've seen plenty of three-wheeled creations in our day, but none quite like the Toyota i-Road Concept. The "personal mobility vehicle" offers seating for two with driver and passenger positioned in a tandem position. While that may sound more like a motorcycle than a car, the closed cockpit means riders don't need a helmet. The design also takes a page from the 2008 Peugeot HyMotion3 Concept with an articulating front suspension that allows the driver to lean through corners thanks to "Active Lean" self-balancing technology. Unlike the funky Pug, however, the i-Road is a fully electric plug-in vehicle.
While there are just five-horsepower on hand from an electric motor, the i-Road should serve up a range of around 30 miles thanks to its lithium-ion battery, and Toyota claims the cells can be topped off in three hours with a "conventional domestic power supply."
