2010 3.5l Loaded! on 2040-cars
Atlanta, Georgia, United States
I bought this vehicle brand new and am a non-smoker. It has been a great vehicle. I am changing to a 4-wheel drive for work. I am happy to answer any questions that you might have. I am adding many photos so that you can see it in detail. It has almost new tires. A recent oil change. I purchased a rubber custom cargo mat to have in addition to the carpet one that came with it. Both will come with the car. It has bluetooth and a USB port. I always get many compliments on this car. It is great looking. There is a small scuff on the front right bumper. I have a picture posted showing it. And one small door ding on the passenger door, also shown. The car looks great now, as shown in the photos. The Minor Incident shown on the Vehical report is from 2 years ago and was where a girl changing lanes on a town street didn't see me in the lane next to her and hit the driver side. I took it to Toyota and they did a complete repair and insurance covered it all. There wasn't frame damage, only a dent to the two doors, as she hit in the middle, and scratches to the paint. All of them fixed back to like new. No signs of it now. The car looks and drives great!

Toyota reports huge quarterly profit increase, raises forecast for the year
Sun, 04 Aug 2013Toyota isn't just the world's largest automaker - so far its the biggest winner for quarterly profits. With an enormous $5.5 billion take during Q2, Toyota took advantage of the weak Japanese yen and strong US demand to record a 94-percent improvement in profit over the same period from last year. So far, Toyota brought in larger profits than Ford and General Motors combined.
Toyota is showing no signs of slowing down either, as it has bumped up its forecast for full-year global production, going from 9.94 million to 10.12 million vehicles, on the back of a 13-percent drop in the buying power of the Japanese yen versus the US dollar. That strong exchange rate is largely responsible for Toyota's big jump in profits, although it also managed to shift 1.3 million vehicles in the US market this year. Strong Camry sales have also helped. But while Toyota is raking in the cash, it actually saw a small drop in market share, down 0.1 percent to 14.3 percent of the US market.
As is the case with most automakers, Toyota seems flummoxed by Europe, where it recorded less than one percent of its revenue. Still, as Automotive News points out, Toyota only maintains a 4.5-percent market share in Europe and is far less dependent on the continent than other manufacturers. Toyota also struggled at home, much like Honda. With 525,777 units sold, JDM sales were down almost 51,000 units, although Toyota still saw its operating profit jump from $3.5 billion to $4.6 billion.
Construction of Lexus' first US assembly line underway
Thu, 09 Jan 2014The ES is Lexus' top-selling sedan, but the Japanese luxury marque has never manufactured it outside of Japan. In fact, Lexus has never made any cars in the United States, one of its largest markets worldwide. But that's about to change.
Yesterday, construction began in Georgetown, Kentucky, on the first Lexus assembly line in America, the first concrete (or steel) step in a $360-million expansion of Toyota's plant in the Bluegrass state that will create 750 new jobs. The expansion was announced last April by chief executive Akio Toyoda at the New York Auto Show.
Once the new assembly line gets online in the fall of next year, Toyota plans on building some 50,000 units of the ES each year. Lexus sold a record 72,581 examples of the ES in the United States last year - 30 percent more than the previous year - so Lexus will either have to import some more from overseas or leave some buyers disappointed.
