Outstanding truck with unbelievable power, overall real nice condition; again UNBELIEVABLE POWER this thing is quick and will tow just about anything you can legally hook up to it.   Not just tow it but tow it FAST.   Toyota puts a small 26gal fuel tank on the Tundra, we fixed this.  We pulled it out and installed a 46gal professionally built made in the US tank in the stock location from Transferflow.   Perfect.

FULL WARANTY from Toyota:  100% transferable.   This is a Platinum (best they have) warranty on almost the entire truck.  It is good to 3/19/17 or 72,160 miles.   Almost half the miles remaining.

Hayes G2 trailer brake system wired into factory towing harness  + Full Toyota Tundra floor mats + Rear folding bench seats with cargo space under them.

The TRD Supercharger is a $7000 installed option!  All the other accessories on this truck are just over $10,000 for parts alone.   The OEM factory Toyota Platinum Warranty was over $1600, but really priceless knowing your purchase is covered and NO surprises providing coverage to 2017.   This truck has been displayed at SEMA in Las Vegas 2013.  The SEMA show sticker is still on the lower front window.  (SEMA is the worlds largest industry only car show)   Prior to my company owning this for show use, factory Toyota owned it and also used it for display use.  This is why it has all the factory Toyota TRD items on it and has such low miles.

Truck is for sale in other listings and may be ended early, if the BUY IT NOW is still offered, will guarantee it to you.

What to check it out in person? No problem we are located in Newberg OR.  Just call us to set up a time to see the truck 503-822-1111

Toyota nearing $1B settlement of unintended acceleration criminal probe

Sun, 09 Feb 2014

According to those all-too-nebulous "people familiar with the matter," Toyota is close to a settlement with the US federal government to end a criminal probe over its long-running unintended acceleration fiasco. Though Toyota has never admitted guilt, the deal could reportedly crest a billion dollars and would likely include a criminal deferred prosecution agreement, and while we're not legal experts, The Wall Street Journal explains that such a deal would "[force Toyota] to accept responsibility while avoiding the potentially crippling consequences of federal criminal convictions."
The report from WSJ also suggests that Toyota is facing charges that it "made false or incomplete disclosures" to various government agencies regarding possible defects to its cars. Such charges may include mail and wire fraud violations. Toyota has already paid out fines totaling $66.2 million to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration because it failed to report safety defects in a timely manner.
This deal with the federal government is not related to the billion-dollar class-action settlement reached with Toyota owners over falling vehicle values, and it's also different from the roughly 400 lawsuits still in courts alleging personal injury of wrongful death due to cases of unintended acceleration. In other words, don't expect to hear the end of such courtroom verdicts and settlements anytime soon...

Toyota mini doc chronicles Tundra towing Space Shuttle Endeavor

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

Toyota has worked up a quick video detailing the brand's involvement in the transportation of the Space Shuttle Endeavour last year. As you may recollect, the California Science Center ran into a hitch when it came to moving Endeavour from LAX to its new home. While most of the route would be covered by a robotically controlled transporter, one portion of the route directed the shuttle over an interstate. Unfortunately, the bridge across wasn't designed to stand up to the weight of the shuttle and its motorized sled.
The Science Center would have to remove Endeavour from its transporter and place it on a lighter, non-motorized sled. That's where longtime Science Center sponsor Toyota came in. As it turns out, the automaker had to prove to the California Science Center that a Tundra could actually tow the massive shuttle, so engineers put on a little demonstration with a stock truck pulling the equivalent weight over flat ground for the same distance. Once the Science Center was satisfied that the Tundra could pull it off, the move was green lit and the rest is history. Check out the short documentary below for yourself.

Lexus, Mazda win KBB 5-Year Cost To Own Awards

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

We focus a lot on what new cars are like to drive, but it's difficult on a one-week loan to really get a sense of what a car is like to live with. Sure, we try to recreate that sense with our long-term vehicles, but even after a year, it's impossible to know fully learn about a car, particularly in terms of reliability and cost of repairs. For 2014 model year vehicles, Kelley Blue Book has put together a list of the most affordable vehicles over a five-year period.
At the tippy top of the list are Mazda and Lexus, with the Zoom-Zoom automaker winning the award for best non-luxury brand. Lexus, meanwhile, was the most affordable luxury marque over a five-year period. It's interesting to note, though, that not a single Mazda won its segment in this year's awards.
General Motors did quite well, taking eight segments, including both the subcompact and plug-in segments, with the gas-powered Chevrolet Spark and Spark EV. The Chevy Camaro SS and ZL1 took the high-performance car award. Toyota was well represented, with five winners split between the main brand (Corolla, Prius C and Tacoma) and Lexus (LS and RX).
