2007 Toyota Tundra Sr5 Extended Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 5.7l on 2040-cars
Santa Rosa, California, United States
I love this truck and I'm sad to see it go. I'm the original owner. I've taken great care of it. Low Miles! Oil changes every 5k. It has almost New 35 inch Toyo Mudd Terrain tires.(285/75, R18). I put these on 5k miles ago. they have the green caps and are filled with nitrogen not regular air. I put a new spray in Bed Liner, new spark plugs, new Brake pads(the good ones) and a new belt on at 65k. It has a K & N air filter It is lifted up in the back 1 inch and in the front 2.5 inches with Bilstein 5100 Ride height adjustable shocks. I put these on at approx 65000 miles as well. It is registered until May 31 2015.
The truck has a tow pkg and is a real head turner with the large tires and 2.5 inches of lift on the front. I have a lien on the vehicle with Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa, Ca. If your in the Bay Area it may be easiest to meet at a redwood Credit union to transfer the title, etc. I don't have a problem delivering the truck if your in the north bay area with in an hour or so of SF. If your not you will have to pay for shipping and costs to get it to you and I can have the credit union send the title once they are paid off. Overall great Condition. I have never smoked in the vehicle. It has 2 dings/dents. There is one on the front right fender(I swiped my garbage can while leaving my driveway) and it has a small dent on the hood that is barely visible( it is above the windshield wiper on the crease). the truck has some scratches that are through the clear coat but not the paint. There is also a dent that has been popped out of the bumper. I was quoted $750 to get all dents out and scratches buffed. and I have lowered my price accordingly. |

Redesigned 2014 Toyota Tundra spied testing in Canada
Tue, 29 Jan 2013When Toyota first announced that it would be bringing the 2014 Tundra pickup to next month's Chicago Auto Show, we weren't quite sure if the truck would fall into the "all-new" or "refreshed" category. After seeing this latest set of spy shots, we're striking "all-new" from the record, but the enhancements do appear to be more than just a simple nip/tuck.
While the overall shape and greenhouse haven't really changed, heavy cladding found on the front fascia suggests that a totally redesigned nose is in store, with a fully reworked grille flanked by new headlamps. Smaller styling details are hidden by the big panels of camouflage, but we anticipate a few minor tweaks to the rest of the pickup's design when all that black tape finally comes off.
Mum's the word on powertrain enhancements (if any), as well as any changes that have been made to the chassis. But with the updated 2013 Ram 1500 already on the street, the recent unveiling of the updated 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, and a preview of what's to come from the likes of Ford, we certainly hope Toyota has injected enough new blood into its 2014 model year pickup to keep it competitive in this American-dominated segment. We'll know for sure come Chicago.
Toyota Tundra ditches V6 for 2015
Fri, 12 Sep 2014The Toyota Tundra debuted in new-ish form for the 2014 model year, but as we head into 2015, the truck boasts a couple of small updates. Most notably, the base V6 engine has been discontinued. On top of that, there's the new TRD Pro model on offer for 2015, which we've told you about before.
Why kill the V6? Simple - it was very low-volume. "The Tundra V6 take rate was significantly less than five percent," a Toyota spokesperson confirmed via email to Autoblog. So for 2015, the two V8 engine options remain - a 4.6-liter unit with 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque, or the more powerful 5.7-liter powerplant with 381 hp and 401 lb-ft. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive is standard. Four-wheel drive, of course, is available with either engine.
The only other noteworthy changes for 2015 include an optional integrated trailer brake for the 5.7-liter models, a new rear under-seat tray storage system for Double Cab trucks, and a spray-in bed-liner. Scroll down for the official press blast.
Tesla expects another higher-volume deal with Toyota in next few years
Tue, 09 Sep 2014Four months have passed since Toyota ended its relationship with Tesla Motors, in which the electric-vehicle specialist supplied full lithium-ion battery packs to the Japanese behemoth for its RAV4 EV rollout, of which 2,500 vehicles will be completed. Now, Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has been heard suggesting that a future collaboration is likely within the next two to three years, and that it will probably be much larger than the last one.
Both Tesla and Toyota have sung each other's praises in the not-too-distant past, Toyota telling Autoblog back in May, "We have a good relationship with Tesla and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects." According to Automotive News, Musk said of the Japanese giant, "We love working with Toyota... We have a huge amount of respect for them as a company and certainly much to learn."
Interestingly, though, the two automakers have rather divergent strategies for eco-friendly automobiles. Toyota, as you're surely aware, is the clear-cut leader in hybrids and has thrown its massive support in the direction of hydrogen fuel cells, while Tesla has invested heavily in battery-electric technology and high-speed charging stations.
