I bought this truck with 33,000 miles on it and all the rest have been highway miles, I have not put it in 4 wheel drive 10 times since I have owned it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle, i am a fix stuff even if it is not broken type of guy and because of that the vehicle is extremely well maintained. There are no leaks and no issues that I am aware of. It looks and drives great, I put new shocks and struts on within the last 6 months and new tires and wheels about a year ago. There are two minor dents in the rear bumber but are nominal too fix. There are some paint blemishes and honestly the truck could use a good waxing. I have the title in hand and the vehicle is extremely clean inside and I am a non-smoker. The truck is fully loaded for that year except leather. I am getting rid of the truck because honestly I have too many vehicles. Dont let the mileage scare you, i would drive this truck to California tom and not even be concerned about it. If you know Toyotas then you know how long they last. This is an absolute must see and drive. There is some room for negotiation on the price. You wont be dissapointed in this truck. I have provided pictures of the Kelly blue book, NADA and what CarMax offered me. I would rate the truck as in very good condition and so did Carmax but of course they offered me wholesale prices and I just could not let it go for that little. Toyota, Honda, Nissan and more collaborating to increase fuel efficiency
Sun, 25 May 2014Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.
PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place.
