UP for auction is an Extremely nice, GARAGE KEPT 2003 Toyota Tacoma sr5 X-cab 4x4 with only 84,730 miles!!!!which is extremely low miles for this truck!!! If you know anything about these trucks, you know that these trucks will run forever if maintained correctly, and this one has been! I bought this truck in 2011 off a friend of mine that took meticulous care of it. I have only put 2,762 miles on it since I've owned it!! This truck is 5 speed manual with cloth interior, and all manual windows, locks, and seats so you don't have to worry about any electronics breaking on you!!!! The truck is featured with A/C which is very cold, cruise control, tilt wheel, sliding rear window. All the interior is in excellent shape with no tears, wear or stains on any of the upholstery!! The truck came factory with factory CD player and cassette player. This truck is also non-smoker vehicle and has no foul odors or stains! NO CHECK ENGINE OR MAINTENANCE LIGHTS ON! The body and frame of the truck is extremely clean and well maintained!! ZERO RUST!!! Frame was checked by local dealership by previous owner (my friend) when all the frame recall was going on and this truck was checked and cleared with no problems found and undercoated by the factory under this recall!! The paint on this truck is like new and shines flawlessly. The bed was rhino lined by a local shop specialized in rhino lining since new! it looks nice and wasn't just a cheap spray can job. The wheels on the truck is the only thing that isn't factory. I bought these wheels brand new and they haven't seen any bad weather conditions. The tires are also like new and they are Goodyear Wranglers. The wheels look good and make no changes to the truck other than the appearance. This truck is not your typical off road, abused Toyota!! It is an adult owned and never been out in the mud or off road. It has been a pavement pounder its entire life and lived In the garage!! It would be hard to find a nicer one with this mileage and condition!! IT IS A MUST SEE AND IM POSITIVE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!! I do require a $500 deposit to my paypal account at time of purchase. I will NOT ACCEPT personal checks!! I DO NOT SHIP, SO YOU WILL HAVE TO ARRANGE FOR PICK-UP! PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE BEFORE BIDDING OR BUYING! YOU CAN CONTACT ME DIRECTLY AT (304) 482-0452 OR EMAIL ME THROUGH EBAY |

Couple survives 50-foot fall from overpass in Toyota
Tue, 11 Feb 2014It doesn't matter the make or model - modern vehicles are technological miracles when it comes to occupant protection. Take this story out of New York City, which involved two people going for a very wild ride in a Toyota Matrix.
Carlos and Raquel Broadbelt were on the Cross Bronx Expressway overpass when they hit a patch of ice while dodging a pothole, sending them hurtling into a guardrail and over the side of the overpass. They fell 50 feet onto the road below. Despite the catastrophic accident - and the mangled Toyota - both driver and passenger walked away. The couple spent a night in the hospital just for observation.
The Broadbelts' miraculous survival has even surprised doctors, who told Dave Carlin from CBS New York they'd never seen an accident like it. Take a look below for the full news report from CBS New York.
12 best hybrid SUVs for 2022
Tue, Jun 15 2021If you're searching for the best hybrid SUV, the truth is there actually aren't that many choices. While there's an endless sea of those powered solely by gasoline, those that add batteries and superior fuel economy to the mix are few and far between. The very good news, however, is that the choices you have are actually excellent. The top-selling and top-rated Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are not only available as hybrids, for instance, but are actually at their most appealing as hybrids. Luxury hybrid SUVs are a different story. While Lexus offers each of its crossover SUVs as a conventional hybrid, those of other brands are by and large plug-in hybrids that provide a relatively brief amount of all-electric propulsion, superior fuel economy and higher prices that are somewhat countered by EV tax rebates. We include both conventional hybrids and plug-in hybrids in the below list of best hybrid SUVs. All are listed alphabetically within each category. Best small hybrid SUVs  |  Best midsize hybrid SUVs Best luxury hybrid SUVs  |  Best luxury plug-in hybrid SUVs Best small hybrid SUVs Honda CR-V Hybrid Why it stands out: Best-in-class back seat space; hybrid's distinctive EV-like power delivery; middle lower LATCH anchorCould be better: Antiquated and glitchy tech interface; a bit dull Hybrid fuel economy: 38 mpg combined (AWD only) Read our 2022 Honda CR-V Review Consider the CR-V the baseline for any compact SUV search. Objectively speaking, it's tough to beat due to its massive cargo capacity, voluminous back seat, well-balanced driving dynamics, competitive pricing and features, strong safety ratings and well-regarded reliability. In terms of its hybridness, we like that Honda's distinctive hybrid system sees most of its propulsion handled by the electric motor (the engine rarely powers the wheels directly), resulting in a more EV-like, torque-rich power delivery and a less obtrusive gas engine. For the vast majority of compact SUV buyers, and especially families, the CR-V Hybrid checks every box.  Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Why it stands out: Beautiful interior; excellent infotainment and safety technology; traditional automatic transmissionCould be better: No spare tire; styling a tad outrageous Hybrid fuel economy: 37-38 mpg combined (AWD only) Plug-in hybrid electric range: 33 miles Plug-in hybrid fuel economy: 80 MPGe Read our 2022 Hyundai Tucson Review The Tucson is the new kid in town and it's made quite an entrance.
