Here is the good stuff:

A neat little car, 1993 Toyota Supra (not turbo charged), Right Hand Drive, automatic transmission with 110117 km which converts to just 68,423 miles!  This little slice of heaven has had a professionally installed body kit, custom exhaust, top quality alarm, gorgeous glass headlights, XXR racing wheels and tires both having less than 3000 miles on them.  Steering column has been redone with Krylon to prevent scratching and give it an ultra sleek look.  The antenna works fine but will not go up and down like it was made to do, we can hear the motor running so it may be an easy fix.

Story of the car:

My client bought this vehicle in 2009 from a gentleman in Canada, this person drove the car across the border to the United States where it was then placed on a semi truck and delivered to Oklahoma.  Because of the way it was handled through customs my client has been unable to tag the car in the United States.  I am not familiar with Canadian law and want to make sure all potential buyers are aware of this situation that may or may not cause them some grief.  What we have on this vehicle is:

Bill Of Sale from the previous owner to my client

A certified copy of CONFIRMATION OF OWNERSHIP from The Province of British Columbia (they do not issue a Certificate of Title there)

A Transfer/Tax Form

A Private Vehicle Inspection Report from Ministry of Transportation

Owners Certificate of Insurance

Export Certificate (From when 1st owner bought it in Japan and had it sent to Canada)

Bill of Lading from Japan Auto Direct

I also have vehicle service reports from when my client has had it serviced here in the USA

Please take a good look at the pictures.  There are dings and small scratches throughout the vehicle, nothing major and all to be expected of a 1993, nonetheless, they are there.  By looking at the pictures you will see with clarity and certainty EXACTLY what you are buying.

Toyota Harrier gets a whale of a facelift [w/video]

Thu, 21 Nov 2013

Historically, the Toyota Harrier has been a doppelgänger for North America's Lexus RX - at some points, it was little more than a badge-swap and a few options away, at least aesthetically. That appears to be changing with this just-revealed new generation at the Tokyo Motor Show.
That's because this two-row, five-seat Toyota is in possession of a bold new look, dominated by a jutting, baleen-like grille edged in chrome, along with new headlamps and fascia. The greenhouse has likewise been revamped and gotten more pointed at the rump, which has new taillights, a resurfaced tailgate and a faux rear diffuser. Were it to be ported over to North American Lexus dealers intact, the Harrier's look would be jarring in light of the brand's spindle-grille-based design language, so we suspect that if the RX gets any of these updates (it was just refreshed for 2013), it will strike out on a different path visually.
Unlike the US RX, the new Harrier will rely on smaller-displacement four-cylinder engines, namely a 2.0-liter paired with a continuously variable transmission or a 2.5-liter four backed up by an electric motor. We'd like to see a smaller-displacement option for the US RX (it presently runs with 3.5-liter V6 engines in both gas-only and hybrid guise), but suspect it won't arrive until the next all-new model.

Expedition drives from Russia to Canada over North Pole...

Tue, 21 May 2013

No, a Ford Expedition did not drive from Russia to Canada via the North Pole, but that's exactly what a team of intrepid explorers accomplished recently. Using specially-modified buses with massive tires, the group slowly drove 2,485 miles in 70 days over drifting ice, occasionally using a pickaxe to clear a path and staying on guard for chasms that could open up and plunge the team into the frigid arctic waters. Average speeds were about 6 mph, "at the speed of a (farm) tractor." While the big tires technically allowed the buses to float if the need arose, the team preferred to stay out of the water to keep the suspension from getting coated in thick, hard ice. Falling in on foot would mean almost certain death.
According to Phys.org, the buses were powered by Toyota diesel engines, but were built with prototype parts from a previous driving expedition to the North Pole. Right now, the machines are parked in a garage in Canada's Resolute Bay while the the team rests up with family back home. They plan to continue their trek to back across the Bering Straight to Russia. If successful, the team may eventually offer a version of their buses for commercial sale.

Details about next-gen Toyota Prius emerge

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

The Toyota Prius is undeniably the king of the hybrid market in the United States, with a 39.4 percent market share in 2013. With the next-generation Prius likely to go on sale in 2015, Toyota is trying to build an even more efficient hybrid to keep its control of the market.
Keeping cost down will be one of the major concerns of the new Prius. The next generation will ride on the new, modular Toyota New Global Architecture platform. The lighter underpinnings will improve efficiency and will reduce production costs by allowing for more shared components among vehicles. Toyota will not reveal how many vehicles will use the new platform. But even with the cheaper platform, price will remain a concern. Toyota is still deciding whether all versions of the next Prius will use lithium-ion batteries or whether some models will stick with the heavier nickel-metal hydride batteries to keep cost down.
Of course, the reason most people buy the Prius is because of its great fuel efficiency. Toyota will aim for at least an 8 percent improvement in fuel economy in the next Prius, which would increase it to 58 miles per gallon city and 52 mpg highway.
