Up for sale is a beautiful low mileage 1997 Limited Edition Deep Jewel Green Twin Turbo 6 speed Supra.  It has a very low original 40,700 miles.  It has the removable targa top and tan leather interior.  This is a two owner car with all the original VIN stickers and basically perfect paint.  There are no dings or scratches on the exterior.  This supra has been garage kept and it shows.  Still has the new leather smell when you get in it.  Since purchasing the supra I've done some BPU mods along with some cosmetic upgrades.  All of the maintenance is up to date.  Here's a list of all the modifications and maintenance done:

Seibon Carbon Fiber TS II hood
Wings West Lip
Authentic TRD CF spoiler
KYB suspension/Eibach lowering springs
Kinesis K29 18 x 9 Front, 18 x 10.5 Rear with brand new Michelin Pilot Sports
Slotted rotors and Hawk brake pads, painted calipers with new supra logos
Brushed aluminum Intake pipe with Blitz intake filter
Greddy 3 row intercooler with brushed Aluminum piping
ACT Stage 2 Clutch
EGR block off plates
Fuel Damnper bypass
OBDII o2 fooler
4 inch downpipe/midpipe
Boost Logic 4 inch catback
HKS EVC EZ boost controller
HKS turbo timer
Autometer boost gauge

Maintenance:

New Timing belt
New waterpump
Valve stem seals replaced
Valve cover gaskets
NGK 6282 spark plugs
Front Main seal
Cam seals
Rear main seal
Toyota red coolant
New Upper/lower radiator hoses
Mobil 1 oil change and Toyota filter
Royal Purple in transmission and Differential

All the maintenance is up to date on this supra.  It doesn't smoke, no leaks, no vibrations, etc.  All factory options work as they should with a factory Supra.  Traction control and OBD 2 setup function like factory with no check engine lights.  This car is very solid with no squeaking or rattling inside the car.  The interior is basically perfect with no stains in carpet, seats are very nice with no creasing or wear marks.  Interior and Exterior are right on par for a 40,000 mile supra.  For just basic performance mods on the factory turbos this car is very fast.  I recently dynoed the supra and it made 462 rwhp and 478 torque on 22 pounds of boost and C16 race gas.  It made 405 rwhp on 18 pounds of boost and pump gas.  There are no surprises with this car, great platform to start building a highway monster or keep it like it is and watch the value go up.  I am more than willing to compression test in front of serious buyers and will take the car to a local dyno to verify power at new owners expense.  Please give me a call if you have any questions.  Thanks, Jesse 435-901-4599

I also have the stock parts that were removed from the car and replaced with the upgrades.

These include:

-Stock Intercooler and piping
-Stock Intake
-Stock Wing
-Stock Hood
-Stock Front Lower Lip
-Stock Suspension
-Stock Exhaust including Cats
-Stock Polished Twin Turbo Wheels

If you would like to have those installed on the car instead to negotiate on price or included for additional money we can work that out.

I also have additional detailed pictures including VIN stickers on all panels.

Editors' Picks March 2021 | Ford Mustang Mach-E, Polestar 2, Land Rover Defender and more

Thu, Apr 8 2021

The month of March was unofficial minivan month here at Autoblog. We drove all of them but the Kia Carnival, but don’t worry, you wonÂ’t have to wait much longer to read that review. Among all the family-toting machines, we drove some more exciting vehicles including the Land Rover Defender and a pair of up-and-coming EVs. It was a month of excellent cars, meaning that this monthÂ’s litter of EditorsÂ’ Picks is stacked. In case you missed FebruaryÂ’s picks, hereÂ’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary or stand out in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in March that earned the honor of being an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport 2021 Ford Bronco Sport First Edition View 32 Photos Quick take: Ford's baby Bronco is an authentic foil to the big Bronco 2-Door and 4-Door. It brings rugged styling, better-than-average off-road capability and thoughtful utility features to a generic segment of cars. Score: 8 What it competes with: Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, Mazda CX-30, Subaru Crosstrek, Kia Seltos, Chevrolet Trailblazer Pros: Stellar design, excellent off-road, clever interior details throughout Cons: Pricier than most, average transmission, underwhelming interior quality and ambiance in lowest trims From the editors: Road Test Editor Zac Palmer — “I genuinely enjoy driving this cute crossover. It feels like a mini truck on the road, and Ford admirably translated the design from its big Bronco over to this Escape-based crossover. News Editor Joel Stocksdale — "The Bronco Sport isn't perfect, the transmission could use some work, and it's a little bumpy, but it's a characterful little thing with loads of style, great visibility and space, and impressive capabilities on and off road in the powerful Badlands form." In-depth analysis: 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Review | Bronco for the masses   2021 Land Rover Defender 2021 Land Rover Defender 110 View 64 Photos Quick take: The Land Rover Defender provides everything you'd hope for in a modern Land Rover: superlative off-road capability, surprisingly plush on-road demeanor, abundant interior space and abundant character. The base four-cylinder is likely all you'll need and lower trim levels provide more than enough equipment.

New drifting world record set in Toyota GT86

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

We have entered a drifting arms race. Last year, BMW smashed the Guinness World Record for the longest drift by hanging the tail out for 51.3 miles around a wet skid pad in an M5 at the BMW Performance Driving School in South Carolina. That beat the previous milestone of nearly seven miles. Now, Bimmer's record is up in smoke as well and is in the possession of a Toyota.
German driver Harald Müller pummeled the old record to drift for 89.55 miles around a 0.15-mile (235.5-meter) course in Samsun, Turkey, in a Toyota GT86 (or Scion FR-S as it's known in the US). According to the Guinness World Records website, it took him 612 laps and 2 hours, 25 minutes and 18 seconds to manage the achievement. Sit back to watch a few minutes of the German's two and a half hours behind the wheel with the tail out.

Toyota recalling 342k Tacomas due to faulty seatbelt pretensioners

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

Toyota is voluntarily recalling 342,000 Tacoma Access Cab pickups, produced between 2004 and 2011. The wide-ranging recall is due to faults in the screws that attach the belt pre-tensioner to the belt retractor. There are concerns that the screws can loosen themselves over time, especially if the access door is opened and closed with too much force. It's important to note that the recall only covers the driver and front passenger seat, and is limited to just the Access Cab trucks. Other body styles aren't affected.
If the screws come loose, the pre-tensioner and retractor spring could separate from the belt entirely, which would be bad news in a crash. There's no mention of injuries or accidents due to the faulty pre-tensioners. Owners affected by the recall will be notified soon, and asked to come in for recall service.
