If you ever wanted to buy a brand new Supra this would be the one. It's truly brand new. From the control arms to the headliner it's BRAND NEW. Curt from Elmhurst will vouch for all the parts. He spent enough money with curt to buy another 98 QS. Don went on a lunatic shopping spree over at Elmhurst and spent more on parts then most of us have spent on our entire cars. Not to mention the absurd amount he spent with Dusty (MVP) and Nero (TITAN). I know both of them would vouch 100% for the quality and quantity of the parts involved. Nope, he did not do it because it was needed, the car was pristine, it had never been in any accidents, it was clean, with all vins when it started, It had common rock chips and a door ding any supra would have. Don wanted a BRAND NEW Supra. Since he couldn't buy one, he built one. From the headlights to the tail lights is 100% new. That includes a brand new V160, diff, axles, drive shaft, seats, door gaskets, Targa seals, misc nuts and bolts.... hell, even $1400 worth of brand new door panels. Re-painting the bumper and door was out of the question so the best of the best was used to paint it including some ridiculous expensive diamond hard clear coat found on newer MB's. This was one of 9 Auto QS cars, It was converted by Alex W. With all Brand new parts from every bolt, nut to Transmission was all new parts. Donny took part in painting the car as he used to do body work and the car went through an extensive tear down to get it ready for paint. With combined efforts of Donny and Alex Car was brouht to Wicked CAS with the New 3.4L and new transmission in place. It was then assambled with the best of best money can buy and soe modifications were still made on top of the great parts picked. Intercooler was modified to have 4" in and 4" out. Custom Intercooler piping was made by Abraham who is an excellent welder and fabricator. ABS was removed, Hypertune intake was installed and fabricated to perfection. Full Race manifold is mated with GT4508R that loves the extra power of the 3.4L Titan motor.
I am including a couple links in this ad and a couple write ups with the car that will go into parts list and what was done to the car. Donny has asked me to sell the car for him as he has his hands full right now partly from starting a new business and having had a recent sergery on his leg... I will be dealing with the sale of the vehicle. I bought this car from Donny 3 years ago. I used it for my company and for car shows, most of the time the car set in our showroom... At that time the car has ID2000 injectors and I kept changing the plugs for fouling issues. I decided to change the injectors with FIC1150 and ran 93 Pump gas, The car was a lot of fun to drive and I did not have to worry about having C16 with me everywhere I go. I would say between the time the project was finished and me having it for 3 years, there is only about 3000 mile put on the car if not less. Donny recently bought the car back from me and had ID1300 injecters pit in it and tune for C16 The car is now still very streetable. It is currently on Race gas C16 Tune. making about 1075 RWHP C16 (consistent above 1000). It makes 750whp on the wastegate. Alex W at Granite state Dyno was the Tuner. he is what we all use around here for tuning Supras. He tunes all the Supras we build at our shop. Total cost of project including the initial investment of th ecar was about $125,000. I would buy the car back in a heart beat, but I am inversted elsewhere at the moment. Otherwise it would be back in my showroom again.
Instead of boring anyone with a long write up I will put down a list of parts that is on the car. I am sure there are some things I am forgetting.
The car was recently featured in a couple magazines. Here is one of the write ups. I have also Gotten permission from the writer and photographer to use his pictures for this ad.

Consumer Reports is calling on Toyota to issue an official recall of 178,000 Camry Hybrid sedans from model years 2007 to 2011, claiming that a pair of issues affecting the brakes are so dire they demand a more official action than what the company has undertaken so far.
The first issue, as CR tells it, relates to a clog in the brake-fluid reservoir filter, which if left untreated could lead to a number of dashboard warning lights. The "front brake assist could be temporarily lost," too, according to Toyota's own notice to dealers and owners of affected models. The company has issued a "service campaign" that will fit a new brake-fluid reservoir free of charge to any affected model brought to a dealer by June 30, 2017.
The other issue plaguing the fuel-sipping Camrys is being treated via a warranty extension, and focuses on the ABS brake actuator, a particularly expensive (both in terms of parts, at $1,000, and labor, around $3,000) item that is necessary for the anti-lock braking to function. There's also a related issue with the brake pedal's "stroke sensor," which like the actuator can lead to a very difficult-to-depress brake pedal. The warranty extension increases the coverage of the actuator to 10 years or 150,000 miles (whichever comes first).

Marketing can be a very strange business. Convincing a man or woman (or child, really) that they absolutely cannot live without the latest, greatest new bit of technology oftentimes takes a unique approach. In the "online film promoting the Toyota GT86" you'll see below, created by agency Happiness Brussels, men are reverse-psychologied into thinking a new sports coupe will make them more masculine by getting their loved ones to hate them. Or something like that. We think.
In any case, we suggest you watch the video below to see how much fun men can have with a GT86 - or Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ, presumably - at the expense of their significant others. Fair warning: There's a potential Not Safe For Work moment in the ad: beware of a brief male butt shot about 44 seconds in.
Marketing. Gotta love it. Unless you're married to a man. Or something like that. We think. Whatever, just watch.

Each year we review, test and rate hundreds of brand-new cars, trucks and SUVs. We rate these vehicles using the Autoblog score, giving a select few our Editors’ Pick. Here are the best cars we drove in June 2019. 2019 BMW 8 Series Everyone on the Autoblog staff loves a good grand tourer, so we were excited to get behind the wheel of the revived BMW 8 Series, specifically an M850i Coupe. A good GT needs to be as fast as it is stylish and comfortable, and the new 8 Series delivers. We particularly like the 523-horsepower twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8Â’s copious power and smooth ride quality, even on MichiganÂ’s pockmarked post-winter roads. We dig the interior design, too, though not everyone was in love with the exterior. ItÂ’s not the best-handling car in its class, and doesnÂ’t hide its sizable proportions very well, but itÂ’s still worth a look if youÂ’re looking for a big, fast cruiser. 2019 Ford Expedition Crossovers may be the hottest vehicles on the market, but thereÂ’s still a sizable demand for traditional body-on-frame SUVs like the Ford Expedition. These behemoths offer plenty of space in addition to truck-like capability. We like the Expedition's smooth ride, powerful twin-turbo V6 and sharp exterior design, though the interior can feel a bit cheap, especially on some of the more expensive trims. Adding options quickly puts it into Lincoln Navigator territory, and itÂ’s hard to recommend the Ford over the Lincoln when the latter packs the same capability into a far nicer package. Still, the Expedition is as good or better than the competition in most respects, and thatÂ’s why itÂ’s one of our picks. 2019 Toyota 86 Few cars at any price point are as much fun as the Toyota 86 (and its twin, the Subaru BRZ). We like the 86Â’s balanced chassis and sharp steering, and while itÂ’s not as nimble as its close rival the Mazda MX-5 Miata, the ToyotaÂ’s back seat and trunk make it a more usable vehicle. But while we like the 86Â’s driving position, the rest of the interior feels cheap and dated, especially the infotainment system. We complained about the anemic powertrain back in 2012, and itÂ’s only gotten worse as the years have gone by.
