Immaculate 2003 Toyota Sequoia Brand New Engine, Dvd, Loaded on 2040-cars
Webster, Texas, United States
VIN#: 5TDZT34A13S200700 2003 Toyota Sequoia DVD Player, Leather Interior, Tow Package, BRAND NEW iForce V-8 ENGINE 28,000 MILES AGO, NEW Bridgestone AT Tires 1000 miles ago, Power Seats, DVD In-Dash Player Touch Screen radio/DVD/CD/MP3/USB/SD CARD/Bluetooth/TV Tuner. Up for sale is my family's Toyota Sequoia. I am the second owner and have had this vehicle for 5 months. Pictures speak for how i care for my vehicles. Garage kept, washed weekly, and detailed monthly. This is the vehicle i trusted to take care of my wife and kids and it has never let us down. Drives tight and firm, shifts smoothly, and has plenty of power to pull a boat or camper (trailer brake assembly installed). The paint is glossy and shiny, I just had the bumpers and fenders painter flat black with rhino guard, and just replaced the brakes At 122,000, the precious owner had a brand new Toyota engine (not a remanufactured one, a brand new OEM engine) replaced in 2011 at 96,000 miles as I have all service records. This is a great vehicle that easily has 400,000 more miles in it given the condition and the brand new engine. This is a used vehicle but shows very minor signs of its age. All items operate and look as would be expected other than the back window motor sticking if not use regularly (too common problem from sequoias). I have this vehicle listed locally in several places online and thus reserve the right to end the auction early at my discretion. Please call me with any questions at 281-755-5799 I do use paypal, and can accept a credit card for deposit which will be due at purchase ($500.00) with balance due in certified check or bank wire that will have to clear the bank before i release the vehicle. This vehicle can be driven anywhere and I can meet someone at airport (hoppy or bush) with it if needed. Look at my feedback, i am prompt and honest and i expect the same of a buyer. Good luck and happy bidding. |

This Japanese ad for the Toyota Prius Plug In is beyond confusing
Fri, Jun 20 2014We'll admit we don't understand all of this strange little ad for the Toyota Prius Plug In (our Japanese skills are not what they once were) but that just makes it all the more fascinating. The takeaway point is that a world full of PHEV Priuses will be astonishingly colorful at time and exciting, with food being delivered by a neck plug. Or something like that. We recommend clicking below and just watching the 60-second spot (and the short making-of video) but if you'd rather read here's what we have figured out: There's some airline-pilot type guy who is visited by who he calls his sister. The voiceover says she's some kind of saleswoman, and she begins to talk up the plug-in Prius alongside the J-Pop group AKB48 Team 8, telling the crowd – including a man in a big, round bird mask – how easy it is to plug in. The old man watching the J-Pop girls tells the woman next to him, "I have their CD." Then we see the original duo back home and the guy says he's hungry before plugging in a blue energy wire. The same wire that then starts charging a Prius. That may not really clarify anything, but there you have it. Watch for yourself below. At the very least, we won't confuse this ad for one from another automaker. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. 2014 Toyota Aygo marks the spot [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014Following the leaked pictures we showed you yesterday, we have the full battery of images and info of the all-new Toyota Aygo, in addition to our gallery of live photos from the floor of the Geneva Motor Show.
Like its cousins from Peugeot and Citroën, the Aygo foregoes a diesel engine in favor of a highly efficient gas powerplant. The 1.0-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder turns out 68 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque. When it hits the market, it'll be with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed, X-Shift automated manual. The former will help the Aygo return 57.3 miles per gallon and hit 62 miles per hour in 14.2 seconds. Opting for the X-Shift variant will net drivers 56 mpg, with 62 arriving in a leisurely 15.5 seconds.
We'll admit, aside from the fuel efficiency, there's nothing terribly great about those numbers. Still, with its compact dimensions - it's only 136 inches long - and a curb weight of no more than 2,000 pounds, it should prove tossable in the bends.
Toyota FT-86 Open Concept leaves us feeling flushed
Wed, 20 Nov 2013When last we checked in on our topless would-be hero, the Toyota FT-86 convertible had been reportedly placed on "indefinite hold." That was back in early October, not long after Toyota had trotted out the rear-wheel-drive canvasback to Scion dealers as a possible future product carrot if they decided not to turn in their franchises. And yet, we're here at the Tokyo Motor Show, where Toyota has taken the time to at least repaint the FT-86 Open Concept in "Flash Red," if not build a whole other car (the original Geneva showcar was white). It's enough to make our heads spin like a teenager on the verge of a breakup. Will they? Won't they?
At this point, we still don't know any more than you do - the last word we heard out of Toyota was not encouraging, although the story was that the program could still be fast-tracked if management had a change of heart. As the car has never been seen before in Japan, perhaps Toyota is merely extending its domestic audience a courtesy view before it lines this showcar in mothballs, or maybe they're still trying to make a decision on its fate and gauging public reaction on the homefront.
Interestingly, in a new story published today, Automotive News quotes Subaru brand boss Yasuyuki Yoshinaga downplaying the likelihood of a production model, saying flatly "We make the car, so if we don't make it, it can't happen." The executive went on to note, "Our engineering department told me that losing the entire roof requires a complete redesign of the structure. It would need a big change." Given that such a car would probably trade in rather small volumes, that sounds like a significant hurtle.
