2007 Toyota Sequoia Sr5 Sport Utility 4-door 4.7l on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Hello Ebay buyers, bidders, watchers, and all others... I am listing my 2007 Toyota Sequoia SR5 4WD here to sell with only 48000 miles!!!! I am the first and original owner of this great SUV. This vehicle has been well maintained and taken care off since day one. It has provided me with reliability and convenience for the past 7 years. I had only driven it on a leisure basis and the miles are mostly highway miles. The truck is in perfect condition with all features and gadgets in proper order. It is white exterior and beige/light grey leather interior. Never been smoked in and the best part about it is that it only has 48000 miles!!!! The interior is clean and conditioned. The leather is in excellent shape all through out. It comes equipped with heated front seats, a third row, a remote starter, a 4wd system (more than capable to get you through any weather conditions), and also a towing package. Running boards are also equipped along with a moonroof with a tilt up/down and slide back features. The SUV comes with an information display cluster (showing gas mileage, temperature, and distribution till empty). As far as the engine and transmission they run great, no hesitation and no known mechanical problems. I have a set of General Tires on the vehicle that are in almost new condition, tip top shape! You got to see it to believe it! The full-size Sequoia uses the ultra-low emission 4.7L V8 engine also available in the Tundra. This engine produces 273 horsepower and 314 lb-ft of torque at 3400 rpm, and is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission.Standard traction and stability controls join air bags all around, anti-lock braking with brake assist, and electronic brake force distribution to give a full range of active and passive safety equipment. Other notable standard equipment on the SR5 includes cruise control, front and rear automatic climate control, a CD player, and power mirrors, windows, seats, and locks. This auction has a low reserve and all in all a great price for this type of SUV. I would like to inform you that this vehicle is being sold as is. I am still driving it on a leisure basis so the miles might be slightly higher at time of pick up. I require a 500 dollar deposit 24 hours after auction close via PayPal. Pickup should be within 7 days of auction close. Please provide either a certified cashiers check or cash for payment. Serious bidders only since this is a legal binding contract. If there are any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via 347-415-9303. If you are local in the area you can come by to see the vehicle by appointment only. |

Scion trying to build business case for FR-S convertible as Subaru bows out
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Hope may remain for a convertible version of the Scion FR-S, according to a report from Ward's Auto. You'll recall that rumors were swirling about the feasibility of a rear-drive Toyobaru convertible as early as October, and that back in November, Subaru - which makes the FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86 - essentially nixed the idea of an open-topped variant.
"We make the car, so if we don't make it, it can't happen," brand chief Yasuyuki Yoshinaga told Automotive News, according to Ward's, at the Tokyo Motor Show. "Our engineering department told me that losing the entire roof requires a complete redesign of the structure. It would need a big change."
Despite Yoshinaga-san's arguments against a droptop variant, Toyota is apparently still considering the model. Speaking to media at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, Scion's US vice president, Doug Murtha, hinted that the rear-drive droptop was in the works.
Toyota to ramp up Tacoma production in Mexico by 41%
Sun, 21 Sep 2014The Toyota Tacoma may be getting on in age, but that isn't stopping the Japanese manufacturer from ramping up production at the pickup's Baja California factory. The Mexican plant will soon be home to another 300 jobs as it increases total capacity by 41 percent. The increase is slated for April 2015.
The move is a curious one, considering the Tacoma's age and the fact that General Motors is preparing what, on the surface, appear to be two very competent challengers. The factory increase could be in preparation for the 2016 Taco (spy photos shown above), which is expected to represent a significant overhaul of the long-serving truck.
Toyota's decision to increase capacity could also be due to the factory building freeze implemented by President Akio Toyoda, according to Automotive News. Toyoda put a hold on new factories until 2016, asking executives to squeeze as much production as possible out of remaining factories before bringing any additional facilities online.
This Irishman really likes the Toyota GT86
Sun, 10 Feb 2013Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.
