Phoenix, Arizona, United States
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Up for sale
is a 2012 Toyota Prius with only 10705 original miles on it. The car is driven occasionally so it may have
a few more miles on it. This hybrid
engine gets over 50 mpg!!! Kelley Blue Book retails this model with these miles
for $21080. Please check it out at www.kbb.com . Here is your chance to own a great car at an
amazing discount. The car will sell for
thousands less and I don’t charge any other taxes or fees. What the bid will be is what you will pay for
it. Please take a close look at the
pictures as you won’t be disappointed at what you see. Basically this car is in excellent
condition. The car was bought from an insurance
company with rear right corner damage. All
the work that we did was replacing the right quarter panel, rear bumper cover
and other miscellaneous parts. The rear
end was painted professionally and the paint matched beautifully. None of the airbags were deployed. Everything is in proper working order. The engine is sound and the transmission shifts
smoothly. We had an alignment done just
to make sure and the car doesn’t pull in any direction and is within the right
parameters. The AC is blowing cold air.
It is a smoke free car. There are
no rips, tears or stains of any kind. This
car is in showroom condition. If you are

the airport if you want to drive the car back home. Our business is located within ten minutes of

Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values
Tue, 18 Mar 2014We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. The full list of recommendations is available on CR's website.
Watch the Muppets go for ice cream in a Toyota
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Do Muppets drive? We're not sure it's necessarily a good idea, but it's been known to happen. Fozzy called his hibernating uncle's Studebaker a bear's "natural habitat," and Doctor Teeth wouldn't get the Electric Mayhem very far without his band's psychedelically painted school bus. But how about Rolf in a 2014 Toyota Highlander?
That's what we got a glimpse of in the run-up to the Super Bowl, and the same combination (plus one Rizzo the Rat) that features in this adorably ordinary video below. Ordinary because it's just a couple of guys going out for an ice cream. Adorable because, well... they're Muppets. See what we mean in the surprisingly entertaining two-minute clip below.
eBay Find of the Day: Harley-Davidson powered Toyota Prius [w/video]
Thu, 03 Apr 2014Sometimes we pluck cars from the listings of eBay Motors because they're old and interesting, some for being simply lovely, some for rarity and some for pure fun. And sometimes we pick eBay Finds of the Day, because they're hacked apart Toyota Prius' with Harley Davidson V-twin-power; concocted by the same mind that brought you innumerable Jalopnik articles and is partially responsible for the joy that is the 24 Hours of LeMons. This time it's that last one.
A fairly subtle tweet from long-time Jalop contributor and well-regarded grease monkey, Murilee Martin, hipped us to this crazy Frankenstein Prius. Built from the bones of a 2008 Toyota and the heart of a 1986 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883, the motive portmanteau is, well... it's a thing.
Toyota's advanced Hybrid Synergy Drive has been unceremoniously wrenched and snipped out of the engine bay, making room (via an artful hole in the hood) for the towering, bored out V-twin. Or, as the maestro himself puts it:
