1993 Toyota Pickup Truck - 4x4 - Black - Bedliner - 205k Miles - Re22 - 5 Speed on 2040-cars
Sheboygan, Wisconsin, United States
Selling our 1993 Toyota Pick Up. The only reason we are selling is because of the leaf spring. Overall this truck will last a long time as it has the re22 engine, this was used in the japanese military vehicles, so with proper maintenance it should last another 100k plus miles. We hate to part with it but we do not have the resources to fix the leaf spring. Truck was freshly vacuumed and cleaned. The toolbox on back is included, also has a latch for a pad lock. also has a bedliner and trailer electrical hookup. Very good tread on the tires yet. has rust. 205,000 miles re22 4 cylinder engine 5speed 4x4 works good oversize tires cd player broken back window leaf spring mounting bracket needs to be welded back in place. -see pics- This is the reason for selling. I dont have the equipment or know how to repair. clutch only has 15,000 ish on it. motor runs strong cruise doesnt work park brake doesnt work truck has seen alot of hwy miles truck can be driven locally to be repaired. Truck cannot be driven on the highway. shipping must be worked out on the buyers end. If you have any other additional questions, please feel free to Call or text 920-207-3222. Thank you for looking. |

Toyota Tacoma X-Runner dead
Tue, 06 Aug 2013A report from last week indicated that Toyota will begin trimming models from its Tacoma lineup starting with the Regular Cab in 2015, but the popular pickup will lose its first variant even sooner than that. For 2014, the Tacoma X-Runner has been dropped, though the company's SR Package could fill the need of those looking for a sporty pickup.
The X-Runner has been around since 2005 with its lowered stance, aftermarket-look body kit and bright paint colors, all of which are offered available only on V6-powered, two-wheel-drive Access Cab Tacomas. The new SR Package sounds like it will offer a somewhat similar appearance, though, with a monotone exterior paint scheme in limited colors accented with smoked headlights, but it will only be offered on Pre-Runner and 4x4 models. Other changes being made to the 2014 Tacoma include a new wheel option with black finish, a wider variety of Entune multimedia features, and the option to have the backup camera display moved from the rearview mirror to the audio system head unit.
Subaru Indiana plant to stop building Toyota Camry
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Subaru may be set to end production of the Toyota Camry at its Lafayette, IN facility by 2017, according to a report from the Louisville Journal-Courier and a CBS affiliate in Columbia, South Carolina. Speaking to the plant's Executive Vice President Tom Easterday, the whole affair sounds like a done deal.
"Based on changes in Toyota's production plans, they have decided that the award-winning Camry production contract will not be renewed," Easterday said. Easterday was quick to emphasize that just because Camry production would end, doesn't mean jobs will be lost. "There will be no loss of jobs at SIA as a result of this," he said, before adding that the loss of Camry production will have no impact Subaru's $400 million investment to ready the plant for Impreza production in 2016. That said, adding a promised 900 jobs may take longer than originally planned, as Camry production staff are set to be retrained on Subaru production.
SIA currently has the capacity to produce 100,000 Camrys per year, and began production of the family sedan in 2007 alongside production of the Subaru Outback, Legacy and eventually, the soon-to-be-discontinued Tribeca.
This Irishman really likes the Toyota GT86
Sun, 10 Feb 2013Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.
