This motor will run on WVO blend, pump biodiesel, fuel oil, etc.  Wouln't take much to make it full WVO. T19 4 speed  new clutch, throwout bearing/pilot and new pressure plate. 3 inch OME suspension, Greasable Man-a-fre anti-inversion shackles, custom drive shafts, Dana 300T-case, Toyo 33x10.5 MT siped with less than 50,000K,  ARB Bullbar, Optimum red top batt and more. This truck has its original paint and is very clean, a few dings and such , but great shape for its age. There is some bubbling below the rear hatch glass and a small dent in the tailgate ( it will come with a rust free hatch and clean tailgate).  Crack in upper right corner of winshield, front seats have wear, 2nd gear is stubborn sometimes and been this way since the truck was built, but never felt the need to mess with it. I have driven this truck all over the northwest and used it as my weekend explorer/camper and daily driver since 2006. I bought it bone stock. Odometer reads 370XXX, all work done at 336XXX. So truck has 50k on build. 20+/- mpg, depending on your right foot. Call 406-212-2824 with any questions, thanks for looking. Bid only if you have the funds. All components on this truck are new or rebuilt in the last 3 years.

Toyota sudden acceleration class action may cover 22 million owners

Thu, 16 May 2013

A total of 22.6 million current and former Toyota owners have been sent notices that they may be eligible to receive compensation from the automaker for damages related to the unintended acceleration fiasco that has dominated headlines in 2009 and 2010. The total payout may be as high as $1.63 billion, according to The Detroit News.
Steve Berman, a lawyer for the owners, calls the potential deal "a landmark, if not a record, settlement in automobile defects class action litigation in the United States." Still, there's some debate about whether or not Toyota's proposed settlement is fair, as it includes $30 million for safety research and driver education programs - in other words, Toyota seems to be suggesting that drivers need more education on how to drive their correctly working and fully functional vehicles. For those keeping track, Toyota would also be paying lawyer fees of $200 million.
A US District Judge in California is scheduled to hold a so-called "fairness hearing" on June 14 that could decide the fate of this particular settlement. Further courtroom wrangling will be required to hash out any wrongful death suits levied against Toyota stemming from unintended acceleration claims, as those are not part of this class-action suit.

Toyota announces GT86 CS-R3 rally car

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Toyota Motorsport GmbH has developed cars for all manner of racing, up to and including Formula One and Le Mans. But it got its start back in 1979 in rally competition, winning four drivers' and three manufacturers' titles in the World Rally Championship. And now it's announced a new rally car.
Based on the Toyota GT86 (better known to us as the Scion FR-S), the CS-R3 rally car isn't built to contest the top tier of the WRC, but is being developed to conform to the lower R3 class. That means a six-speed sequential gearbox, limited slip differential and upgraded engine, brakes, aero... the works. It'll retain the road-going model's rear-drive setup, joining the front-drive Yaris R1A in TMG's portfolio of customer rally cars.
Further details are set to be revealed "in the coming months", but the GT86 CS-R3 will benefit from the experience TMG accrued in developing the GT86 CS-V3 (pictured above) for the Nürburgring-based VLN endurance racing series.

Toyota reveals new customizable Camatte57s kid-friendly concepts

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

Toyota plans to follow up last year's kid-friendly Camatte concept with two new versions: the Camatte57s and Camatte57s Sport (right). Like the original Camatte, the two new concepts will make their debut at the International Tokyo Toy Show, which is happening this weekend.
Not much has changed with these two new Camatte models. Like their predecessor, they both feature detachable body panels (the count is up to 57), a 1+2 seating array and reconfigurable pedals that allow children to operate the gas and brakes while Mom or Dad steers. What is new is an open-top roadster design that even eschews doors in favor of easier ingress/egress. They look like something a tourist would rent to get around a Hawaiian island, though we dig the distinct personalities of each model's design.
Both cars are all-electric, though Toyota hasn't provided any other specifications, like what makes the Sport model sporty besides its more aggressive body panels and silver, black and red color scheme. That's just as well, as neither concept, like the original Camatte before them, is street legal.
