2000 Toyota Land cruiser:

Please look at my 100% rating on Ebay.  I have been selling "socially" since it started!

This has been a great vehicle.  We are the 3rd owner of it and it has been an awesome truck for our family.  The original owner purchased it from Toyota of Nashville TN. He used it to travel from Ohio to TN to his summer home in Key West Florida.  At all of his homes the truck was garage and loved for. He sold it to a friend and we purchased it from him with in a few months.

When we purchased the it was like new!!!    Besides the drivers seat the rest of the car had never been sat in. I would love to keep this car but we have inherited another car that my wife will drive.  Below are details on the picture and reasons you should buy this car for you or you and your family.

  • Original Paint that looks like new.  (All Original,  No Paint work what so ever)   Look at the pictures.  Looks like a new truck!
  • New complete factory toyota exhaust
  • New stereo with Pod and satellite  interface.  Looks like it came from the factory just today!
  • All factory maintenance performed .  Transmission flush and brake flush were recently done.
  • Please looks at the pictures.  I know that they cannot convey all of the condition of this awesome truck....but they are accurate and recent.
  • There are no driving issues what so ever.  Fly in from any where and drive it back. (Land of course)
  • Uses absolutely NO oil between oil changes.
  • Hoses and and ALL belts are perfect.
  • Has NEVER been SMOKED in.
I would love to keep this cruiser but there is no room in the garage.

Call or email with any questions.  865 three eight four 7 four 25

Thanks

Rick

Who sold the most small/midsize pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates that, too

Wed, 27 Feb 2013

PickupTrucks.com has taken another look at the sales of its favorite vehicle bodystyle as part of an ongoing series. According to registration data from R.L. Polk, the Toyota Tacoma easily took the crown as America's best-selling mid-sized pickup, with 133,477 units rolling into new homes in 2012. For comparison, the second-place Nissan Frontier only saw 50,566 registrations.
We feel compelled to point out that before Ford pulled the plug on its ancient Ranger, the company was moving some 75,000 units per year. That number had shriveled to 15,662 by 2012, which was still enough to surpass the Honda Ridgeline. Interestingly enough, one person brought home a brand-new Hummer H3T as well. But mid-sized trucks represent only a fraction of total pickup sales. Dealers sold a total of 241,471 midsizers last year compared to 988,326 half-tons.
That segment was dominated by General Motors with 533,814 sales followed by Ford at 478,204. Ram Trucks trailed behind in third with 241,204 units with Toyota close behind at 229,769. Nissan, meanwhile, remains a distant fifth. Head over to PickupTrucks.com for a closer look at the breakdown in each segment.

Toyota FV2 Concept is a single-seat mood ring for the road

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Of all the vehicles Toyota brought to the Tokyo Motor Show, the FV2 might be the most creative. The minimalist single-seat concept is a glimpse at Toyota's idea of a "fun to drive" vehicle in the future.
The FV2 is essentially a pod with a diamond-shaped wheel array (what powers said wheels has not been disclosed), and Toyota says that the technology of the vehicle allows it to gauge the driver's mood and suggest possible destinations. The interaction between driver and vehicle is also displayed in an augmented reality screen on the windshield, and the car can also act as a mood ring of sorts with exterior colors and patterns that can change based on the driver's mood. We can just see it now: "Don't mess with Jim today, his car is red."
Scroll down for a brief press release on the FV2.

Ford barely edges surging Chrysler for Canadian sales crown in best year ever

Thu, Jan 8 2015

The auto industry in the US showed strong results through much of 2014 with sales regularly growing year-over-year for many brands. That same trend carried over in the Great White North, as well. Canada posted its best numbers ever with 1.85 million units sold, up about 100,000 vehicles over 2013. The country nearly had a new market leader, too. The big winner among our neighbors to the north in 2014 was Ford with 291,951 vehicles sold, up 3 percent from 2013, according to Reuters. That success also handed the company the sales crown for the fifth consecutive year. In large part, the strong result came from the company's popular trucks, which represented about 80 percent of overall sales. "Ford moved into the number one position in September and didn't look back," said a note to clients by DesRosiers Automotive Consultants quoted by Reuters. However, the Blue Oval didn't exactly take an overwhelming lead for the year. The company nearly had to hand over the sales trophy to FCA after the company rallied in the latter part of the year. The Italian-American conglomerate had its best results ever to nip at the Ford's heels and move 290,004 units for 2014, a 12-percent improvement from last year. Jeep especially helped the bottom line with over 50-percent growth, according to Reuters. Only two other brands were able to break the 200,000-vehicle barrier in Canada for 2014. General Motors came in third place overall with 249,800 sales, up 6.3 percent. The combined Toyota and Lexus also barely jumped the hurdle with 200,851 units moved, a 2.8 percent improvement.
