There is some duct tape on the driver seat. It was there when I bought it and I have not investigated any further. The button on the driver seatbelt is cracked, yet functional. There carpets are very clean as well as the other seats and door panels. The rear vinyl has some cracks but is taped and all there. The trailer light connection is functional. No cracks in any of the glass. The exterior has some small rust spots on the rear passenger side. Minor paint damage below gas tank fill. Scuff on hood a few inches long. Other than that very clean. The truck is in Montana. The buyer would be responsible for transporting the truck."

The truck is in great shape for its age and mileage. I am the 3rd owner. I have all of the records from my ownership and the ones from the previous owners that I was given at the sale; I am not sure if they are complete. The truck is from the Pacific Northwest; Seattle then Montana. There is a roof rack, a trailer hitch, and the truck has a 3" lift. There is a fifth door that has a drop tailgate and lift glass gate in the far rear. The stereo and speakers are new in 2011. There is some rust on the back passenger side panel as well as some paint range below the gas fill. It's 4WD and is a manual. Everything works great! I have used the 4WD often. There is also a spare tire. Overall a great truck.

Toyota prices fuel cell sedan $70K in Japan, coming to US and Europe next summer [w/video]

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Toyota has finally unveiled its FCV hydrogen fuel cell sedan and its Japanese price. We won't have to wait too long to see the first of these revolutionary vehicles on the roads. It will go on sale in Japan in April 2015 and will come to the US and Europe later that summer.
In Japan, the FCV will be priced at roughly 7 million yen before taxes ($68,810 at current exchange rates). However, Toyota makes it clear in the press release that we shouldn't try to extrapolate US MSRP from that figure, saying that official pricing for the US and Europe has not yet been determined. As will be the case in the US, sales in Japan will be limited to parts of the country that already have a hydrogen refueling infrastructure (that means you, California).
The production version of the FCV looks almost identical to the concept from last year's Tokyo Motor Show. There is a new vertical strip of LEDs at each corner of the front air intake and real sideview windows, instead of the nubs on the prototype. The weird squiggles from the rear trim are also gone in favor of a more production-ready look, but the taillights survive the changes mostly intact.

MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.
