What we have here is a 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55 with a FREE and CLEAR Colorado title. I'm sure some of you saw this listed on ebay last year . . . It starts right up and drives down the road. It has a brand new Aisin master cylinder installed. I have the original panels , and wheels that will go with the winning bidder. It is 43 years old so there is always something that can be done. 3 spd on the tree , that still shifts tight. I live at 9000 feet and it starts right up and drives down the road. The previous owner installed the air bags, and it rides stellar . I have had a magnet all over this truck, NO BONDO ! The under carriage of this truck is very solid-welded 2x6 trailer hitch tubing tied into the frame for a beefy set up. I was planning on painting it, and making it a daily driver, but my job has other plans for me. The headliner/interior could use some work. The seats are in real good shape. These fj55 are very very scarce ! Bid to win! Good luck and thank you for looking ! I accept pay pal, certified check, money wire, etc... NO RESERVE. I will help ship in anyway I can, but shipping is on you. Thanks again.

Japan considering offering free hydrogen cars because $30k incentives apparently not enough
Wed, Aug 6 2014There's no such thing as a free lunch. A free hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, though? It may become a possibility in Japan, says Automotive News. We know the Japanese government is being plenty supportive of hydrogen vehicles since it will provide about $20,000 worth of incentives to prospective customers of the $69,000 vehicle. And with local governments like Toyota City's Aichi prefecture supplying another $10,000, out of pocket costs could reach less than $40,000 for the Toyota hydrogen car. We don't know for sure that the 'free' H2 car will happen, but with Toyota starting sales of its first production FCV next spring (potentially named Mirai), it could happen. That would also spell good news for Honda, which will follow up Toyota's effort for its own hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle. The case for the free car is still pretty tenuous. Automotive News, citing the Nihon Keizai business publication, reports that the Japanese government has thrown around the idea of subsidizing the vehicles outright to early adopters just to gain some momentum for this kind of zero-emissions vehicles. Heck, the government would even throw in free fuel for good measure. We'll see about that. To see some of the official hydrogen excitement, click here for a video of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe taking a Toyota fuel cell vehicle for a brisk test drive. Toyota hits 10 million Camry models sold in US
Tue, 02 Jul 2013This year marks 30 years of sales for the Toyota Camry in the US, and in that time, it has amassed more than 10 million sales. In its first year on the market, the Camry sold 52,651 units, but it has gone on to become the best-selling car in the US for the last 11 years.
Toyota says that "virtually all" current Camry models sold in the US are made here, and three-quarters of all Camry contents are domestically sourced. Scroll down for the official press release from Toyota, and be sure to check out our gallery of images showing every model year and bodystyle of the Camry since it first went on sale in 1983.
Unifor may establish local union for Toyota's Canadian plants
Thu, 17 Jul 2014Union tactics apparently translate across borders, as Canada's Unifor may take inspiration from the United Auto Workers' recent move at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga, TN, and establish a local for the Toyota factories in Cambridge and Woodstock.
Unifor last attempted to organize the workers at the two factories, which are responsible for production of the Toyota Corolla (above), RAV4 and Lexus RX back in April, but that vote was eventually delayed. According to that report, 3,000 of the two plants' 7,500 employees signed union cards, but that apparently wasn't enough for Unifor to force a vote.
Because of this, the union is looking at the local approach, like what the UAW is attempting with VW.
