2012 Toyota Fj Cruiser Premium Sport Utility 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars
Portland, Oregon, United States
Hello All! I am selling my wife's Red 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This vehicle is the ultra rare and hard to find Red; both top and bottom. This vehicle has seen zero off road use. Very clean. Full size spare tire with Black TRD wheels. Including the black toyota rock rails. This rig is awesome. I am selling it due to family growing! Hate to part with it, its a one of kind vehicle. I have tinted the windows (legal tint). But all else is stock, this has every option Toyota has for the FJ. Yes this is a trail teams edition with the full instrument gauge cluster. It also includes a tow package and hitch. Ready to handle whatever you want to throw at it! Also has remainder of factory warranty! I have had the vehicle's oil changed regularly with Synthetic oil. Also the BF Goodrich tires have been rotated on a regular schedule, they are showing almost zero wear and tear. Look great. This vehicle has been pretty well babied. Smoke Free vehicle! Orginal One owner. Please note: After winning bid, wire transfer of funds is preferred method of paying. I will not ship it for you, but will be happy to meet anyone reasonable close to my area. (Portland, OR) We can disucss any method of shipping or transfer at your expense and I will help with whatever needs doing! :)
Good luck on the bidding and thank you for looking!!! |

More head-up displays are coming to a dashboard near you
Tue, Feb 27 2018With the exception of Apple products — $1,000 for a freakin' smartphone? — one great thing about tech is you typically get more for your money with each passing year. This is particularly true with automotive tech: Features like driver assists and surround-view cameras that were once exclusively available in luxury vehicles now come standard even on some economy cars. The same thing is slowly happening with head-up displays (HUD). For example, the 10-inch HUD in the 2018 Toyota Camry is one of the largest and best HUDs I've seen in any car. And a big improvement on the much smaller HUD in the latest Toyota Prius. Mazda is another mainstream brand that offers HUDs in several of its vehicles. But instead of embedding expensive components in the dash and using a special windshield, the HUDs in the Mazda3 and Mazda6 use a thin plastic lens that folds down when not in use. MINI has a similar solution, but this low-cost approach has limits in terms of size and position of the images compared to traditional HUDs that use the windshield as a screen. We're also starting to see similar lens-based aftermarket options that can be added to any car. Last year I tested a portable HUD called Navdy that taps into a car's OBD-II port to provide info on speed and RPM and uses built-in GPS and Google Maps to show the surrounding area, display speed limits and route you to your destination. Navdy also connects to an Android or iOS smartphone via Bluetooth to display data from phone calls, texts and music playing on a connected device, and it's simple to use and easily visible in almost any lighting condition. While Navdy is still available online, late last year the company ran into financial difficulties, and product support has been halted. I recently tested a new portable HUD called Hudly that's not quite fully baked and falls short of Navdy because it doesn't tap into an OBD-II port. Since a companion smartphone app for Hudly isn't scheduled to launch until next month, for now it only mirrors what's on a smartphone. So it can be used for nav and other apps, and its features are very limited. Between automakers adding HUDs in more reasonably priced cars and the aftermarket filling in the gaps for existing vehicle owners with add-ons, the technology is becoming more prevalent and affordable. And it's also getting better.
Toyota Sienna Swagger Wagon rides again with Busta Rhymes
Mon, 04 Aug 2014Let's face it: there are few things less "gangsta" than a minivan (which goes a long way towards explaining why crossovers have been gradually taking their place as the family-hauler of choice across America, but we digress). The point here is not lost on Toyota, which has embraced the uncool image of the minivan with the Swagger Wagon campaign.
We first saw the suburban-goes-urban campaign pop up with the introduction of the new Sienna back in 2010. And now that the Sienna's been updated for 2015, the campaign is back again, featuring none other than Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. himself... better known to most as Busta Rhymes. The decidedly white-bread video spot that follows may make you cringe, but you've got to admit that it's well done, even if it doesn't have the charm and freshness of the original.
Toyota releases its Le Mans recap, 'The Ultimate Endurance Race'
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Two weeks ago, Audi released its short video about this years 24 Hours of Le Mans, and now Toyota has put the experience into its own words and pictures. Called The Ultimate Endurance Race, the clip and accompanying press release focus on how hybrid power helped Toyota claim second and fourth places with the TS030 Hybrid in just its second year competing at Le Mans.
There are some brief scenes of the battles had this year, like when Lucas di Grassi in the Toyota almost kissed Allan McNish in the Audi above, but the best part might be when Toyota promises it will be back. Next year, it's gonna be good. You'll find the relevant words and the images just below.
