2007 Toyota Fj Cruiser Trd Special Edition Sport Utility 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars
Arlington, Tennessee, United States
Due to a growing family I'm putting
my FJ up for sale. This truck has been exceptional in every way. This is the
rare 6 speed manual TRD special edition with full time 4wd. It has 129,xxx mostly hwy miles and still drives like it’s new. All service and maintenance
has been completed at the local Toyota dealership. Never had any problems with
the car, Toyota reliability... Just put in a new clutch at local Toyota
dealership ($1600) and 4 brand new BF Goodrich all terrain tires (1,000). I am very particular about any vehicle I own.
This car is always garaged and detailed twice a month. It has never been off
road. It is accident free and never been repainted. There are some small rock
chips on the vehicle from hwy driving. This FJ is Very clean both inside
and out…. I added the Toyota brush guard,
Toyota oem alarm with keyless entry, and put in a $5,000 custom sound system,
that includes an Alpine double din with blue tooth, navigation, and ipod cable. Hertz high
energy three ways in custom fiber glassed A pillars, a JL Audio HD 900/5
amplifier under the passenger seat, and a custom sub box containing a single JL
Audio 10w3 subwoofer. There is also a rear view camera custom fiber glassed
into the rear bumper. All the doors have been completely covered in Dynamat including the rear cargo area in addition to Dynapad |

Toyota investing $30 million in Indiana for more Highlander production
Sun, 28 Jul 2013Indiana seems like the place to be if you're looking for work in a car factory. In May, Subaru announced plans to invest $400 million in its Lafayette, Indiana plant, creating 900 new jobs in the process and increasing capacity to 300,000 units per year. Now, Toyota has announced plans to invest $30 million in its Princeton, Indiana plant, 170 miles south of the Subaru factory, which also builds the Camry.
Toyota's investment will create an additional 200 jobs and increase the factory's volume by 15,000 units. Toyota announced an investment in the plant in February of 2012 that bumped volume up from 300,000 to 350,000 units. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana, as the Princeton facility is officially known, produces the recently revised Toyota Highlander, the Sequoia and the Sienna. It employs 4,500 people, and this announcement represents Toyota's tenth production increase in under two years.

Toyota to ramp up Tacoma production in Mexico by 41%
Sun, 21 Sep 2014The Toyota Tacoma may be getting on in age, but that isn't stopping the Japanese manufacturer from ramping up production at the pickup's Baja California factory. The Mexican plant will soon be home to another 300 jobs as it increases total capacity by 41 percent. The increase is slated for April 2015.
The move is a curious one, considering the Tacoma's age and the fact that General Motors is preparing what, on the surface, appear to be two very competent challengers. The factory increase could be in preparation for the 2016 Taco (spy photos shown above), which is expected to represent a significant overhaul of the long-serving truck.
Toyota's decision to increase capacity could also be due to the factory building freeze implemented by President Akio Toyoda, according to Automotive News. Toyoda put a hold on new factories until 2016, asking executives to squeeze as much production as possible out of remaining factories before bringing any additional facilities online.
