Getting a new company car and this one needs a new home - It has a few thousand in hail damage that I did not claim - I did however replace the hood so it doesn't look so bad - the plates don't come with it - It is NOT a Hybrid -
Hail is noticeable on the roof but the sunroof hides some of it - the hail is a little seen on the trunk but the spoiler hides it and there is light hail on the top of one side as the wind whipped it around - Toyota Corolla is a great work car but not often a collector and I didn't want this claim to effect my rates for the future - So while this is priced right on the money for the hail - please know that the rest of the car is overall perfect - No Stains, rips, tears, burns, pet smell, or french fry stains - It even has factory embroidered floor mats and a folding rear seat -
It has been a great car - no accidents and all the maint has been done at a Toyota dealership including fluid changes and rotation of tires. Its been a work car and is not hogged out, never smoked in and does not smell like fast food - It also has tinted windows and every item works as it is supposed to - Add this to the remaining warranty and you will have a great car.
This is be priced to sell and if you can live with a little hail savings this is the one to have - Above the base car - the LE has power windows, locks, mirrors, Bluetooth with CD, Sunroof, rear spoiler and I even have the factory style fog lights in a box that you can install - they even have the factory switches - When comparing look at the steering wheel and see if it has the audio upgrade - This allows you to activate your phone and radio while keeping your eyes on the road. The other LE's listed here are a ton more money - Save big and take a vacation with the savings -
Call direct if you need to 402-679-7223 - the car is located south of Omaha Nebraska - btw - don't offer to paypal the whole thing because you are off site working on an oil rig - that scam is "so last year"

Toyota updates 86 in Japan with this weird special edition
Wed, Feb 11 2015In their constant drive for perfection, Japanese automakers Toyota and Subaru have both announced some minor updates for their jointly produced sports car specifically for their domestic market. Both the Toyota 86 (known in these parts as the Scion FR-S) and the Subaru BRZ are getting a revised version of the electric power steering system they were designed with in the first place as well as a reworked suspension. The more intriguing news, though, is the strange restyling Toyota is offering on the 86 Style Cb edition. Ditching the aggressively angular front end of the existing model, this special edition gets rounded headlamps and an extended nose to give it a much less severe face. The Toyota 86 Style Cb is also being offered with an optional two-tone paint scheme and gets unique LED turning indicator strips, a special badge on the bulbous snout and revised interior trim. We'll chalk it up to a matter of personal taste, but as far as JDM specials go, this special edition isn't one over which we'll be terribly disappointed if it never makes it to US showrooms. We'll be sure to keep you posted if and when any of the mechanical updates make the trip across the Pacific, though. Related Video:
Toyota GT86 engineer Tada recounts how sports car came to be
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Because the Toyota GT86, Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ coupes are now a reality, it's almost hard to imagine the struggle that had to happen within the large, conservative corporate structures at both automakers for the joint project to even get off of the ground.
Speaking to those struggles on Toyota UK's Toyota Blog, GT86 Chief Engineer Tetsuya Tada enlightens us with a recap of the sports car's earliest origins. For Tada, the first stages of the project must have seemed almost as dreamlike as the final product is to drive.
Said the Chief, "I had been working in the minivan department engineering new product, but a month after the meeting I was summoned. 'Forget about minivans,' they said, 'you are now working on the sports-car project.'"
Toyota raises Japanese base wages for first time since 2008
Fri, 14 Mar 2014Toyota is on track for record profits, and in return, its Japanese workers are receiving their first increase in base wages since 2008, plus higher pay based on seniority and a larger bonus for 2014. The Japanese automaker predicts the average laborer will net a 2.9 percent income gain.
The average Toyota employee will earn 2,700 yen ($26.28) more each month, a 0.8 percent increase from last year. Workers will also receive about 7,300 yen ($71.09) more monthly based on seniority and promotions. Finally, the company's union pushed through a median bonus of 2.44 million yen ($23,768) for 2014, the highest in 6 years.
The pay boost comes as Toyota forecasts a record 1.9-trillion yen ($18.5 billion) profit for the fiscal year ending on March 31, according to Bloomberg. It has been helped by the Japanese government's efforts to weaken the yen on international markets and expand inflation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been asking businesses to increase compensation to end years of deflation and offset upcoming higher sales taxes. Honda and Nissan have also raised their wages there in recent months.
