2008 Toyota Corolla with only 15,000 actual miles ! my grandmother who is now almost 96 years old , and can no longer drive , bought this great little car in november of 2008 out of florida with only 12,330 miles on it ! so in over 4 years it has barely been driven 3000 miles ! it has NEVER seen snow ! it is located in Canton , Ohio now , but she could never drive in snow or bad weather because of her age ! I just put in a new battery , the tires are great , and I really don't know what else to say ! I mean , it is practically a NEW car ! I wish I had a need for it , but I have a 2012 truck myself ! obviously everything works ! it is white with gray cloth interior ! it is pretty near perfect ! it was garage kept ! it does have a scuff or a tiny nick here or there , but nothing you would even notice unless you got 6 inches away ! I took a close up of the scuff on the front bumper just to show you it exists , but it can probably be removed ,which I will attempt this weekend ! like I say ,it is pretty much a new car without the price tag ! you WILL NOT be disappointed ! it has A/C , power locks , and power windows !

Vice chronicles Okinawa's illegal street racing scene
Mon, 10 Mar 2014We all know that street racing is dangerous, and that motorsports are best left on the track or drag strip. However, that doesn't mean that there still isn't some outlaw allure among enthusiasts of racing on public roads. In this video, Vice Japan profiles Eikichi Nagayoshi of Japan's island of Okinawa. He is a used car dealer by day and an illegal racer by night.
Nagayoshi has a deep love for his highly customized Toyota Aristo (better known to us as a first-generation Lexus GS) that he claims produces over 1,000 horsepower and has hit 205 miles per hour. He races his car both on drag strips and in drifting competitions, but says that he often has to ship the car to mainland Japan to compete. In the absence of those opportunities, he sometimes gathers friends and takes the racing to the public roads. While we're not down with street racing, this Vice video is an intriguing personality piece, as well as a look into Japan's fabled underground racing scene. Toyota produces millionth truck in Texas
Thu, 19 Sep 2013After going online in 2006, Toyota's San Antonio, Texas truck plant has just built its one-millionth vehicle, the 2014 Tundra 1794 Edition you see above. The plant originally focused on just the Tundra pickup, but the smaller Tacoma started rolling off the line there in 2010, as well.
Fittingly, the 1794 Edition (a new premium trim level for 2014) pays homage to the property on which the Toyota plant now resides - a ranch that was founded in 1794. Rod Millen to face Monster Tajima in Electric Division of Pikes Peak Hill Climb
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The 91st running of the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb is scheduled to begin on June 30. Like last year's event, the 12.42 mile course - fully paved these days - starts at 9,390 feet elevation and doesn't stop climbing until it reaches an impressive 14,110 feet (the air is so thin up there that the FAA requires pilots to use oxygen at that altitude).
There will be an assortment of internal combustion machines racing to the summit, entries from France, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Sweden, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and Belgium, but all eyes will be on the electric showdown between Rod Millen and Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, from Japan. 61-year-old Millen is a familiar name to Toyota racing fans, and he will be driving the Toyota TMG EV P002 (it won the Electric title last year), while Tajima will be again piloting the Monster Sport E-Runner (which was forced out of the field last year after a fire broke out).
Other entrants include Rhys Millen driving a 2013 Hyundai PM58OT and Paul Dallenbach, who will be driving Millen's Hyundai Genesis Coupe (it set the all-time speed mark last year).
