Yes, it looks hideous now, but it's one paint job away from looking great! The car did have some body damage to the door as you can see. It's very much fixable. Tires still have great tread. You just need a new set of hub caps to make these look better! Trunk is clean. Plenty of room back here! Interior looks great! 5-speed for maximum MPG! Still drives great! Was well maintained! Radio, a/c and heat work great! You get all the books! Original window sticker. Look at that MPG! You get a whole stack of service history! It's all there! No warning lights remain on the dash after the car is started! This is exactly what it will look like when you're driving it! Incredible! The car's mileage is original and the odometer works perfectly! If you thought the inside of this car was clean, open the hood! Just look at how nice everything is under here!

Storage Terms: Once a vehicle has been paid for in full, we will store it free of charge for five (5) calendar days and at nineteen ($19) dollars per day after that. Liquidated Damages: In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidated damages from that bidder in the amount of two thousand dollars plus two hundred dollars per one thousand dollars of the total purchase price of the vehicle. Sales Tax & Other Fees: Depending on the jurisdiction of your residence, the vehicle may be subject to a sales tax. If the winning bidder plans to register the vehicle in the state of Texas, you must pay sales tax in the amount of 6.25% of the sales price, a .20903% Dealer Inventory Tax (Example of dealer inventory tax: $10,000 sales price = $20.90 inventory tax.), $50 Documentary Fee, $33.50 Title Fee, and a $62.00 registration fee (registration fee is only charged if new registration is required). Toyota to recall 185k cars globally, including Yaris
Thu, 04 Jul 2013Toyota has announced it is recalling a total of 185,000 vehicles worldwide for a power steering issue. Yaris and (overseas) Vitz models built between November 2010 and March 2012 could suffer a short circuit in their power steering control module if water gets inside. Should that happen, the power steering could fail, increasing effort when turning. The recall also includes the Verso-S and Ractis built from August 2010 to August 2011. The recall covers 130,000 vehicles in Japan and around 22,450 in Europe.
Only 74 units are being recalled in the United States.
Toyota says if the fault occurs, the vehicle will display the Electronic Power Steering warning light on the dash and a buzzer will sound. The automaker will alert owners by mail and dealers will replace the power steering control module free of charge. You can read the quick press release on the recall below for more information.
Unintended acceleration settlement hits Toyota's Q4 bottom line
Fri, 09 May 2014Depending on how you want to look at things, the US Attorney's Office $1.2-billion dollar settlement with Toyota in March over its unintended acceleration recall was either a big blow to the company or completely inconsequential. From January to March, net income fell five percent to 297 billion yen ($2.89 billion), compared to 313.9 billion yen ($3.05 billion) a year ago. However, the automaker still posted record full-year profits worldwide.
Operating profit also fell in the US by 9 percent to $498.1 million for the quarter, but sales were up by 6 percent to 581,261 vehicles. According to Automotive News, global revenue was still up from January to March by about 13 percent and vehicle sales were up 6 percent to 2.58 million units.
However, the payment to the feds did little to hold the company back last year. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, Toyota had net income of 1.82 trillion yen ($17.7 billion), compared to 962.1 billion yen ($9.5 billion) in the last fiscal year. Total vehicle sales were also up.
BMW-Toyota sports car heading towards Tokyo debut
Mon, 20 May 2013Earlier this year, BMW and Toyota confirmed a four-part joint venture mostly focusing on increasing improving vehicle efficiency using fuel cells, lightweight materials and better battery technology. Also tucked into the announcement was a "feasibility study" for a shared platform to underpin a future midsize "sports vehicle."
In terms of the latter, it seems that things have stepped up from the feasibility stage to the conceptual stage, as Motor Trend reports we could see a pair of new sports car concepts debut later this year in at the Tokyo Motor Show. There isn't much information about the new program, but the article suggests the sports cars could be all-wheel drive hybrids, with electric motors powering the front wheels and a gas engine powering the rear wheels. While a partnership between Toyota and BMW might not lend itself to a catchy portmanteau like "Toyobaru," here's hoping it will bear fruit that is as exciting as the ones produced by the Toyota/Subaru tie up.
