2001 Toyota Corolla Ce Sedan 4-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
United States
I bought this car back in 2007. I replaced the struts back then, because the stock ones were worn out. A wheel bearing was also replaced 2 years ago. MobileOne synthetic oil only used (replaced every 4000-5000 miles). I am not sure, but I think the wheels I put long ago are aluminum. Could be alloy - not sure. Sorry! It has an MP3/CD/USB car stereo. I never had issues with the car (only the wheel bearing I mentioned above). The AC is quite cold. The car has never been in an accident / flood. We are selling the car because we no longer need it and barely used it in the past 2 years (we are also selling our Honda Fit 2008 to upgrade to a bigger, family size car). Clean title; no liens; title has my and my wife's name. NO WARRANTY. NO RETURNS. CAR IS SOLD "AS IS". Please contact me with any questions. Happy bidding! Thanks! |

Toyota casts off in Ponam-31 motor yacht [w/video]
Sun, 12 Oct 2014Some Japanese automakers focus purely on cars, while others dabble in all sorts of motorized transportation. Honda, for example, makes everything from motorbikes to jet aircraft. But while Toyota may be known principally for automobiles, it also makes a line of boats. And this is the latest.
The new Toyota Ponam-31 motor yacht is built around an aluminum hull with a flybridge and cockpit rear deck layout, similar to the Carver 32 on which this writer spent his childhood summers. It measures 31 feet overall and is powered by a pair of 3.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engines derived from the Land Cruiser Prado (known in these parts as the Lexus GX 460) but marinized for nautical application. Toyota has even equipped its new Sports Utility Cruiser with such features as Drive Assist and a Virtual Anchor System.
Toyota expects to sell around 15 units of the Ponam-31 through its network of 49 dealers across Japan, with prices starting at 29,700,000 yen (about $27,500 at today's conversion rates). Scroll down below for a video, along with a press release, meant to show potential customers what's waiting for them.
Russians create Toyota Land Cruiser ice sculpture with full interior
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The Toyota Land Cruiser is a pretty hot model around the world. But it took the Russians to make it cool. We have few hard, cold facts and only small slivers of information about these photos, but it seems the icy Toyota was part of the International Snow & Ice Festival in Perm, Russia.
Artists took a huge chunk of ice and shaved it down to the temporary art installation you see here. The sub-zero SUV comes complete with a full interior accessed by the (permanently frozen open) driver's side door. The steering wheel and seats look to be upholstered in, well, dirt. With the back seats removed, the frigid four-door is a pretty slick ride in which to chill out.
Just a thought, but wouldn't a Toyota Tundra have been more appropriate? See the gallery for more photos.
