Trenton, New Jersey, United States
for sale 1999 Toyota corolla 168257 miles. NEW PARTS LAST YEAR four new struts, rear brake pads, new sway bar bushings and end links, idler tensioner and belt tires are about 50% I also install a rear hitch to a bike rack or small trailer great for lowes or walmart runs that wont fit in trunk THE BAD no passenger seat, no head liner or rear speakers and cover or radio and air vents, locked my keys in the car a while ago so I had to break the driver door handle and no inside handle so you have to find and pull the handle lever, my dad backed up into me in the driveway so the hood is little dented but otherwise great also the check engine light as been on for about 6 months never got it checked out but drives great no problems I would assume cat converter or o2 sensor because mpg decreased slightly to about 25mpg from 29mpg other wise runs great with leaks or smoke its been a great little commuter car but decided to get small suv because of a new baby nj inspector sticker good till 11/2014 no reserve On Mar-17-14 at 13:53:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I removed the passenger side seat because I had the dog in there and she chewed the seat and I never got a replacement for it. Also the head liner was starting to sag down and break apart so that's why there is no headliner as for as the radio goes I removed for a new one and never got around to replace it |

Toyota TRD Pro lineup coming next week
Thu, 30 Jan 2014A mysterious Toyota commercial recently popped up on YouTube teasing a new TRD Pro lineup for the Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner, and now we're getting our first official word straight from the automaker on the matter. Courtesy of its Facebook page, Toyota is promising that the TRD Pro models will be introduced on February 6th, ready to "conquer the great outdoors."
This date just so happens to mark the first day of the always-truck-friendly Chicago Auto Show, so while Toyota isn't saying as much, we're almost certain the trucks will show up next week in the Windy City. It's not clear what sort of upgrades TRD Pro brings, but it definitely includes black wheels and a tweaked front end featuring a thick, single-bar grille and bold lettering in place of the stylized Toyota logo (shown above on the Tundra).
Scroll down to see the video, and head over to Toyota's Facebook page to see a teaser image of the 4Runner TRD Pro.
Audi, Toyota land on MIT's list of 50 Most Disruptive Companies
Sat, 23 Feb 2013MIT Technology Review, a magazine all about innovation, has announced its list of the 50 most disruptive companies in 2013, and both Audi and Toyota made the cut. While the term "most disruptive" may carry a negative connotation in most uses (especially in the classroom), the acknowledgement in this case is an accolade, signifying that the company is at the forefront of its industry. In a nutshell, a disruptive company is a business whose innovations force other businesses to alter their strategic direction.
Audi made the list for "pushing autonomous cars closer to fruition with a laser-scanning road detector that fits in a vehicle's front grille," and Toyota for "expanding its dominance of the hybrid-car market with its new plug-in version of the Prius." Click on the image above to be taken to the original graphic at MIT Technology Review, where clickable colored squares reveal information about each of the 50 winners, compiled from a variety of industries.
This Irishman really likes the Toyota GT86
Sun, 10 Feb 2013Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.
