SOME HISTORY SO THE BUYER KNOW ABOUT THIS CAR.
I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 1995 AND IT IS REGISTRED INTO MY NAME ( PINK SLIP IN HAND).... I DROVE THIS CAR FOR 2 YEARS DAILY FROM SAN BERNARDINO TO LOS ANGELES (120 miles round trip) BUT LATER I STOPPED USING IT BECAUSE IT DIDN'T PASS THE SMOG CHECK (required in CALIFORNIA).....I decided to put it in PNO (permit no operation) and this car has been sitting down like that since 1997. I turnning ON this car for years after 1997 and leaving working for at least 2 HOURS 3 to 4 times a YEAR with the air conitioning working.
NOW ALMOST 6 YEARS AGO THE CAR STOP WORKING BECAUSE OF FAILING CARBURATOR..... I REMOVED THE CARBURATOR TO FIX IT BUT I DIDN'T DO IT SO, THIS CAR HAS BEEN SITTING LIKE THAT FOR ALMOST 6 YEARS.
THIS CAR IS UNDER MY NAME AND IT CAN BE REGISTER IN CALIFORNIA WITH NO PROBLEM WITH NO TICKETS OR HIDDEN FEES BECAUSE IT HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN AND IT JUST HAS BEEN SITTING DOWN WITH THE PNO (NO OPERATION PERMIT). OTHER STATES BUYERS NEED TO KNOW HOW TO REGISTER THIS CAR.
I BOUGHT SOME DAMAGED PARTS AT THE CARS YUNK LIKE THE BACK AND FRONT BUMPERS AND ALL THE PART WHERE THE RADIO GOES AND SOME ELSE THAT I DON'T REMEMBER BUT NOW I JUST WANT TO SALE IT.
LEFT HINGE HOOD IS BENDED THAT'S WHY IT IS NOT CLOSED TOTALLY BUT IT CAN BE BENDED BACK AGAIN.
AIR CONDITIONING WAS WORKING.
PICK UP ONLY OR BUYER NEEDS TO MAKE ARRENGEMENTS TO PICK UP THIS CAR.

Toyota Auris gets new Touring Sports variant
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Toyota showed off the Touring Sports version of the Auris next to the newly introduced Auris Hybrid at last year's Paris Motor Show, but didn't say much about it. Six months later, just ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, the company is crowing about that wagon going on sale with the Hybrid Synergy Drive, creating the Auris Touring Sports Hybrid.
The hauling version of the exceptionally popular Auris hatchback doesn't just add a hybrid wagon to the compact segment, Toyota says it offers class-leading load capacity of 1,658 liters with the Easy-Flat one-touch rear seats down. With the rear seats up, it offers 530 liters. The little big gulp is possible because the hybrid batteries have been placed under the rear seats instead of being in the luggage area.
It looks the same as the hatchback save for the fact that it's 285 millimeters (11.2 inches) longer behind the C pillar, has a redesigned tailgate and a lower load floor. Engines beyond the hybrid will match the rest of the lineup: 1.3-liter and 1.6-liter gasoline engines and a 1.4-liter D-4D diesel. There's a chance we'll see it in Geneva, if we don't there's a press release below to tell you all about it.
Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R is road-going version of brand's racing technology [w/video]
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Did you know that the Yaris is Toyota's best-selling vehicle in Europe? That may help explain to us Americans why the car that's lowest on the company's totem poll here in the US got turned into an all-wheel-drive hybrid track monster for the 2013 Frankfurt Monster Show.
Called the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R, this three-door pocket rocket isn't just a hybrid making a lot of horsepower - it incorporates technology from Toyota's TS030 Hybrid racecar that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship series, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Yaris Hybrid-R packs a 300-horsepower, turbocharged, 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine under its hood, which should be enough for most speed freaks, but Toyota pairs it with two 60-hp electric motors at each rear wheel (the same ones used in the production Yaris Hybrid that's sold in Europe). That makes total system output an insane-for-this-size 420 hybrid horsies.
But that's not all, as the Yaris Hybrid-R forgoes the traditional battery pack below the rear seats in favor of a supercapacitor, which can both hold more energy and has a much faster power charge/discharge speed than traditional batteries. Paired with the supercapacitor is a third 60-hp electric motor/generator positioned between the engine and six-speed sequential transmission. Its job is to feed the super capacitor energy during deceleration and direct its power to the rear electric motors when more grip and oomph is needed.
Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow
Wed, Mar 16 2016Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
