1989 Toyota Celica Gt Convertible 115k Miles Mint Condition, Electric All Works on 2040-cars
Hampstead, North Carolina, United States
WON’T LAST LONG !! 1989 Toyota Celica, only 115k miles, one owner. According to Ebay regulations and rules for listing a auto, I had to check auto as being Salvaged, but it actually isn't. The title is clear and the car isn't a salvage car by no means. Everything in this description and pictures are true, any questions just call me. If you appreciate old cars then you will love this one. Mint condition, electrical locks, sunroof, and mirrors, automatic 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, brand new convertible top, tires ,and battery, center console, tinted glass, tilt steering, intermittent front wipers, power steering, etc. Passed all diagnostic tests with a print out. Still have owner’s manual. Purrs like a kitten. AC/Heater works, new headlights, everything works. The seats are like brand new no spots or stains. And it’s fast for a 4 cylinder. Great on gas and joy rides. Hard to let this one go. I am selling it because I am military and moving to California and don’t want to drive the distance. I am asking a firm price of $4,000.00 FIRM, MUST SEE TO APRECIATE, otherwise I will just store it. Serious inquiries only. Call Lisa at: 479-616-4903. I am currently located in Washington, NC. |

2014 Toyota Corolla priced from $16,800*
Tue, 27 Aug 2013We'll be publishing our First Drive of the 2014 Toyota Corolla later today, but right now, we can reveal that the eleventh-generation compact will be priced from $16,800 when it hits dealerships this fall (*not including a $810 destination charge).
Four trim levels will be offered, and that sub-$17,000 price point reflects the base L grade with a six-speed manual transmission. Adding the four-speed automatic (yep) brings that price up to $17,400, which gets you the usual features standard on this class of car, including Bluetooth connectivity, eight airbags and - a first for this price point - LED headlamps.
From there, the LE trim ($18,300) adds a backup camera, cruise control, keyless entry, Entune audio (including a 6.1-inch touchscreen) and a brand-new continuously variable transmission replacing the four-speed auto. There's even an Eco version of the LE trim that uses a different engine tune to provide fuel economy of up to 42 miles per gallon on the highway.
Toyota Aygo stars in 'invisible driver' prank
Sat, 14 Jun 2014We love a good automotive-themed prank. Rémi Gaillard remains a favorite, although maybe we should take a closer look at MagicOfRahat, another online prankster. Rahat, who has developed a bit of a reputation for blending in with car seats, giving the impression that there's no one behind the wheel, has taken his talents to Europe, in a new video for Toyota.
Dressed to look like the seat of the new Toyota Aygo, Rahat goes about town freaking out tollbooth operators, valets, fast food servers and even receiving a bit of unwanted attention from the police. The result is, as is usually the case with this prank, pretty darn amusing. We were kind of hoping he'd pop up and give his victims a fright, as he did in his Halloween video, but alas, that wasn't to be.
Take a look below for the full video.
Manga stylized Toyota Aygo takes on Godzilla
Thu, 13 Nov 2014Japan has given the world so much to enthuse over. We're not sure the Toyota Aygo is necessarily one of them as much as, say, the Scion FR-S or Lexus LFA (especially since it's actually made in Europe), but for many Nipponophiles, the centuries-old artistic discipline of Manga certainly is. And now the two have come together in this two-and-a-half-minute animated short.
In Toyota's own take on the classic narrative, an Aygo animated by celebrated artist Sonia Leong takes on Godzilla. As in, a giant lizard rampaging through a Japanese city, not the Nissan GT-R, against which the little Toyota would certainly stand even less of a chance by any metric other than affordability, fuel economy or ability to park in tight spots.
In any case, watch this Manga-fied video above, and feel free to read through the related press release below.
