1985 Celica 5-speed, rear wheel drive, GT-S coupe. This car is a driver and be driven across country if desired. It has some cosmetic issues but still looks decent. The rust on the roof is all. The bottom and frame is solid. The high miles are desert miles as this car spent the majority of its life on the expansive roadways in south east California. There are no rattles, squeaks or vibrations. Does not smoke, leak or burn oil. The top end was rebuilt along with new timing chain and water pump about 20,000 miles ago. This car goes down the street straight. No odd tire wear. For those familiar with the 22re, This engine has great low end power but really suffers when trying to move out at speed. The Doug Thorley header, no cat and a larger diameter supra exhaust has remedied this problem. This car continues to pull through all of the gears. it also has high flow injectors. It has a new power steering pump but isn't working due to low fluid from a bad rack seal. The seal is relatively easy to replace. I have the new seal. The passenger window just stopped working. I don't know if it's the motor or fuse. I'll find out soon. It has a dash cap and the rear speaker covers are missing. I have a few extra parts to go with it. Audi, Toyota land on MIT's list of 50 Most Disruptive Companies

MIT Technology Review, a magazine all about innovation, has announced its list of the 50 most disruptive companies in 2013, and both Audi and Toyota made the cut. While the term "most disruptive" may carry a negative connotation in most uses (especially in the classroom), the acknowledgement in this case is an accolade, signifying that the company is at the forefront of its industry. In a nutshell, a disruptive company is a business whose innovations force other businesses to alter their strategic direction.
Audi made the list for "pushing autonomous cars closer to fruition with a laser-scanning road detector that fits in a vehicle's front grille," and Toyota for "expanding its dominance of the hybrid-car market with its new plug-in version of the Prius." Forza Horizon 3 car list keeps on truckin'

We've covered three weeks of car reveals for Forza Horizon 3, and this time we get a better look at the trucks, SUVs and other off-roaders you'll be able to use to explore Australia. This week's list kicks things off with two of the most legendary off-roaders in the world, the Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser and the Meyers Manx. They have different purposes; the FJ40 is for tough trail work and the Manx is for some light-hearted beach fun. But no one could deny the cultural importance of either. And both should be a blast in Horizon 3. In addition to this pair of classics, players will have a chance to get behind the wheel of both a race version of the Ford F-150 Raptor and its closest rival, the Ram Runner. And when traditional vehicles start to get boring, why not take out a full-blown Baja racer such as the Penhall Cholla or the Rockstar energy drink version of the little Polaris RZR XP 1000 side-by-side? Forza Horizon 3 is shaping up to have one of the most diverse car lists in a racing game in a long time. Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California

In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.
