Super clean 1983 Toyota Celica Supra, 6 cylinder, 5 speed, rear wheel drive car. This car needs an engine swap as a rod broke which makes it perfect for a LS1 drift car project. The body is extremely solid, and the interior is very nice for its age. Car has NEVER seen a Mid West winter!
Its hard to believe this car is 30 years old. It only has 138,000 miles on the clock. Exterior is very straight. The paint is dull but we waxed a small area and it glossed right up, so a good buffing should see it shine like new. Some of the black panels have lifting clear coat. The windshield is cracked and should be replaced. Tires and wheels are good. These cars were loaded from the factory, power everything and it all still works.
Car was running and driving great before the rod broke. It's definitely a rod, as you can see a part of it through the block! However the head was reconditioned only a year ago, so a new short block should be all it needs if you want to keep it stock.
Please ask any and all questions, I can send you my phone number and local inspection is always welcome. I have a car trailer and would be happy to deliver up to 200 miles from 49002 for $1.25 per mile (gas is $4.28 can you believe that?!) which basically pays for my gas plus some beer money.

2014 Toyota Camry to get 'significant' attention?
Sun, 24 Nov 2013With competition from Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and Nissan mounting, Toyota is getting set to unveil a refreshed version of its Camry sedan a mere two years after it was fully redesigned.
According to a report from Bloomberg, Toyota's move to freshen the still young Camry comes as it seeks to retain its US sales crown in the midsize segment. That desperation has lead to increased incentives and fleet sales in a bid to keep its title, all while trying to keep pace with a slew of very competent competitors.
"It's safe to say we'll be doing something with it," Bill Fay, group vice president of the Toyota brand in the US, told Bloomberg during last week's LA Auto Show. "We'll be paying significant attention to Camry next year."

Thu, Jan 3 2019In just over a week, the Tokyo Auto Salon will host one of the coolest auctions we've seen in years. Jalopnik spotted BH Auction's listings, and it's a cornucopia of hot machinery you won't typically find at American auctions like Gooding & Company or Barrett Jackson. While Japanese cars make up most of the listings, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and even Dodge all have at least one car going up for auction. We won't include everything here, but you can check out the full list on BH Auction's website. There are 50 lots at the auction, including nine Nissan Skylines, nine Ferraris and two Porsche Carrera GTs. Some of our other favorites include a Honda S800 coupe, a Toyota Miniace truck, a Mitsubishi Willys Jeep and a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing with the V8 from a W124 Mercedes-Benz E60 AMG that's estimated to sell for between $1.25 million and $1.5 million.
