This is a very nice 1993 Camry with the 3vzfe V6 engine and 5 speed transmission. It is the fully loaded sports edition. An old lady had it and hardly ever drove it. I think she had it under a tree at some point for a bit because their are a few tree sap stains on the top and trunk. I have only had it about six months and love this car. No rust and everything works except for the right rear window doesn't roll down. I never sat back their so never cared. Anti-lock brakes work awesome. This car is very close to show room condition. It only has 63,000 miles on it. It doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil. I also installed a K and N filter, and new struts with alignment. Air conditioner blows cold and has been retrofitted to new style refrigerant with all new o-rings, new compressor, and new expansion valve. You will not find another SE camry like this on the planet. I love this car, but circumstances change. Has 4 new tires, I hope who buys it appreciates how reliable and fun this car is. Has cruise control, a kenwood stereo with fold out dvd touch screen(2,200 dollars for the unit alone-kenwood kvt-910dvd sounds awesome with stock speakers-this had the upper level trim speaker system.) nice leather seats that are in good shape, recently replaced spark plugs, factory toyota exhaust system, four wheel disc brakes in good shape, flushed brake fluid recently, power antenna works properly. Has trailer hitch with removable insert. I pulled a little trailer when I moved recently. Has a scratch on the front bumper as you can see. Leather seats are supple for their age except for the top of the rear seats got a little beat by the sun, since I have had it I have tried to condition the leather every 2 months, its due for another treatment. The SE seats are really what sold me on the car-they just feel awesome. Took a pic of the roof and trunk lid up close so you can see their are not that many sap stains really. When I had the carpet professionally cleaned the guy cracked up the center consul some so I repaired it and I feel I did a pretty good job, no one notices but me. It looks like a car thats only 3 years old but really its 20! In the months I have had it I have driven across country and it was very smooth. I have taken very good car of it since I have had it-the pics are actually when I consider it to be dirty lol. I will only accept payment in person. Any questions just ask. Payment due within 7 days of agreement to purchase. Located in Memphis Tennessee.

Toyota and Subaru file patents for performance FR-S and BRZ
Wed, Nov 11 2015People have longed for a more powerful version of the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota GT86 since the triplets arrived on the market. So far, neither partner in the deal has launched a model to fully satiate that hunger. However, the Japanese patent office recently approved documents from Toyota for the design of a vehicle that looks just like the Subaru STI Performance Concept (pictured above). According to AutoGuide, the filing also gives Fuji Heavy Industries credit for the design. The STI Performance Concept debuted at this year's New York Auto Show as an early step in STI's attempt to expand its reach here. The BRZ-derived coupe featured a body with a ground-scraping front bumper, tweaked headlights, wider fenders, a massive rear wing, and diffuser with a center-exit exhaust. All of these elements also show up on the patent renderings. The concept was just as exciting under the hood because STI installed a 2.0-liter, turbocharged boxer four-cylinder from its GT300 racer, and upgrades for the chassis, suspension, and brakes came from the Japanese market's BRZ tS. While the coupe made hearts race, the company was clear it didn't necessarily plan to build the model. Patent filings aren't a guarantee for production, and even if this one does arrive in showrooms, it might not come to the US. That's because Subaru and Toyota have a history of creating Japan-exclusive versions like the tS or Style Cb. That being said, spy shots have revealed a camouflaged GT86 testing in Europe, and rumors indicate more power from the engine. Subie's boss has even confirmed the existence of a partnership to create a next-gen model. Related Video:
Toyota Camry, Lexus RX to get aluminum parts
Tue, 23 Sep 2014Ah, aluminum. The lightweight, strong material has long held a following within the premium ranks, but as Ford prepares to launch an aluminum F-150, the material is gaining acceptance among more mainstream automakers. Toyota is one such brand, with a new report indicating that the Japanese giant will add aluminum bits and bobs to some of its upcoming vehicles.
These won't be full, aluminum-intensive treatments like the F-150, however. Automotive News reports that an aluminum hood and liftgate will be coming to the 2016 Lexus RX, and following that, the Camry will get a bonnet built from Element 13 for model year 2018.
As AN points out, Toyota is no stranger to aluminum, using it in Japanese-built models like the Prius and Scion FR-S. The RX and Camry, though, will mark the first time the company's North American factories will use the material, and they'll do so on a significantly larger scale, owing to the higher volumes that the Camry and RX represent.
Everybody's doing flying cars, so why aren't we soaring over traffic already?
Mon, Oct 1 2018"Where's my flying car?" has been the meme for impending technology that never materializes since before there were memes. And the trough of disillusionment for vehicles that can take to sky continues to nosedive, despite a nonstop fascination with flying cars and a recent rash of announcements about the technology, particularly from traditional automakers. Earlier this month, Toyota applied for an eye-popping patent for a flying car that has wheels with spring-loaded pop-out helicopter rotors. The patent filing says the wheels/rotors would be electrically powered, while in on-land mode the vehicle would have differential steering like tracked vehicles such as tanks and bulldozers. At an airshow in July, Aston Martin unveiled its Volante Vision Concept, an autonomous hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle it developed with Rolls-Royce. Aston says the Volante can fly at top speeds of around 200 mph and bills it as a luxury car for the skies. Audi used the Geneva Motor Show in March to unveil a flying car concept called the Pop.Up Next it developed with Airbus and Italdesign. If the Pop.Up Next, an electric and autonomous quadcopter/city car combo, gets stuck in traffic, an app can be used to summon an Airbus-developed drone to pick up the passenger compartment pod, leaving the chassis behind. Audi said that the Pop.Up Next is a "flexible on-demand concept that could open up mobility in the third dimension to people in cities." But Audi also acknowledged that at this point it has no plans to develop it. The cash-stoked, skies-the-limit Silicon Valley tech crowd is also bullish on flying cars. The startup Kitty Hawk that's backed by Google co-founder Larry Page announced in June that it's taking pre-orders for its single-seat electric Flyer that's powered by 10 propellers and is capable of vertical takeoffs and landings. The current version can only fly up to 20 mph and 10 feet in the air and has a flight time of just 12 to 20 minutes on a full charge. The Flyer is considered a recreational vehicle, so doesn't require a pilot's license. Uber says it plans to launch its more ambitious Elevate program and UberAIR service in 2023. "Uber customers will be able to push a button and get a flight on-demand with uberAIR in Dallas, Los Angeles and a third international market," Uber Elevate promises on its website.
