Serious bids only please. I will answer any questions before bidding or if you would like to come see or test drive the vehicle we can arrange that if you are close in distance. I have over 75 pictures that I have taken but can only put so many on Ebay please contact me if there's a specific photo you would like to see. My personal vehicle for the past 10 years. I purchased it from a Toyota dealership where it was a certified used vehicle. Love it & it has been a great SUV but I'm at the point with 2 kids, sports & traveling I need something bigger. The main flaw with this suv is the speedometer & odometer are NOT working. We've been using our phone GPS! We have taken steps to getting it fixed so the last step is up to the next owner if having a speedometer and odometer is a factor for you. I will be honest about any questions you may have. You can see my Ebay feeback is positive & I am a honest person that's why I'm mentioning the meter problem upfront. You can email me any questions or request my phone # to call me. 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 SUV silver color cloth gray interior with rear fold down splitting seats, 4x4, I have original paper work window sticker & owner's manual, automatic, 3.4L V6 DOHC EFI Engine, 4 wheel drive works fine, roof rack, running boards, power windows & locks, sunroof tilts or slides (no leaks around windows or sunroof), keyless remote with panic, tonneau cover for rear cargo area, tinted windows(few scratches on tint), rear defrost, rear window will go down but recently it quit working I've tried to figure out if there is a lock for it somewhere that accidentally got switched??, chrome bumpers, driver/passenger airbags. Optional equipment that was added at the time of manufacture was rear heat with dual cupholders, painted overfender & running boards, power steering with tilt/sliding moonroof(works great), SR5 upgrade pkg #2 sport seats, leather steering wheel cover, 4 way adjustable headrests, alloy wheels, VIP RS3200 plus alarm upgrade (which I guess is panic button), rear window deflector, towing receiver hitch. General maintenance oil changes, radiator was just flushed last winter, new alternator & A/C & power steering belts were replaced approx. 6 months ago, new Delco starter & alternator within last 2 years, new battery 2012, 4 new tires in Dec 2012 Cooper Discoverer H/T 60,000 mile tires, wheel balance & rotations have been kept up. Drivers seat has main wear with some spots. All interior seats have no tears or rips, dash has no cracks, leather boot around 4x4 shifter has come loose, have 3 of original floor mats and I always kept gray plastic ones on top of the carpeted ones. Driver & passenger front seats have some minor dirt spots on the back of them due to kids. Never smoked in since I've owned it. DEFECT with the ECU. The speedometer quit working at 186677 and currently has approx. 192000 miles on it. We had the dealership diagnosis it for us and it has a VSC-ECU that is not communicating with the vehicle. So we purchased a used one and had it put on but have now found out that it has to be programmed with the VIN to function properly. So that is where we're at. Honestly that is the only major thing wrong but for the right person that has connections it's probably a easy fix. Please ask me any questions about anything I have mentioned. Payment of $500.00 needs to be deposited into Paypal account with 24 hours and remainder in cash or cahier's check to be collected upon pick up. I think I have given as much information as I can. If you have any questions please call me or email me. I would be happy to answer any questions. 2014 Toyota Tundra appears with revised styling, same mechanicals
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Toyota has pulled the curtain back on its 2014 Tundra, showing a truck that has gotten its most significant refresh since its launch as a 2007 model. For better or worse, however, the changes that Toyota has made to the fullsize pickup are mostly cosmetic, with the underpinnings of the vehicle staying unchanged.
The most obvious revision for 2014 is to the bluff front fascia of the truck. There's a new, taller squared-off grille decorating the Tundra's nose, along with a revised, three-part front bumper design. The optional black grille-frame strikes us as an acquired taste, to say the least, but other models, like the Limited above, is all clad in chrome. Fenders and wheel wells are more square than in the out-going truck, too. Perhaps most significant is the revised bed design, which Toyota calls "all-new," with new sheet metal on the sides, a revised tailgate and a very subtle integrated spoiler.
Inside, Toyota has given buyers some new seats and a new-look instrument panel. A backup camera (always handy on big trucks) is now standard equipment on all grades, as is Bluetooth connectivity. Blind spot monitoring is a new, optional feature as well. In all, as with the exterior mods, the changes in-cabin are far more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Toyota Supra ready for its retrospective video closeup
Mon, 20 May 2013Our friends at XCAR have taken the time to train their lenses on the iconic Toyota Supra. With Toyota finally back into the performance car game, it seems only logical to remember one of the brand's most legendary sports cars. While we're all busy ladling praise onto the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ twins, it's important to remember that Toyota used to produce all manner of fun-to-drive machinery. The Supra once sat at the top of that list, its most recent iteration giving buyers the option of a ludicrous forced-induction inline six, gorgeous styling and plenty of presence.
Of course, the legend didn't stop once the Supra fell off American order sheets in 1998. Always an aftermarket darling, the Supra has gone on to become a tuner favorite in nearly every corner of grassroots motorsport. From drag racing to road racing and everywhere in between, the Supra is remains a force to be reckoned with nearly 15 years after it last prowled the US auto market. You can catch the tribute from XCAR below.
Toyota C-HR stays sharp from prototype to production
Tue, Mar 1 2016Scion is dead. While the troubled brand was given 13 years to make a case for itself, it never quite succeeded. And that's a shame, because we're pretty confident that this, the production-spec Toyota C-HR would have been one of its biggest hits. Instead, when it arrives in the US, it will be as a Toyota... where it will still likely be a big hit. The new small CUV made its debut after literally years of teasing concepts, the most recent of which was shown late last year in Los Angeles, where it was badged as a Scion. After seeing that car, it's quite clear that Toyota has strained itself to translate its style to the real world. Up front, there's clear inspiration from the Toyota Auris/Scion iM. But aside from the front, the C-HR's biggest inspiration appears to be the Nissan Juke. View 14 Photos It's like Toyota has tried to go even further, though. Its wheel arches are flared even more aggressively and they feed into a strong character line on the lower portion of the doors. In back, Toyota's designers seem to have just rotated the Juke's taillights 180 degrees while they sit below an extremely fast rear window. Said window is integrated into today's latest design trend, a floating roof. Mechanically, the C-HR rides atop Toyota's New Global Architecture, which is Japan's answer to Volkswagen's MQB architecture. Power comes from a hybrid drivetrain, good for a relaxed 120 horsepower. If you don't want hybrid power, Toyota will sell the C-HR with the Euro-market Auris' turbo 1.2-liter engine, but we almost certainly won't see that here in the US. Instead, American drivers will probably be left with nothing but a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated four-cylinder. That engine will be exclusively paired with a continuously variable transmission that sends power to either the front- or to all four wheels. So there's Juke inspiration, but not in the driving character. Toyota says it will build the C-HR Hybrid in Turkey. We don't know if that facility will handle US-market vehicles or just Europe, but we wouldn't be surprised to see additional facilities come online to produce this stylish little bugger.
