2000 Toyota 4runner Sr5 Sport 58k Miles!!!! Immaculate on 2040-cars
Dover, New Hampshire, United States
2000 4runner SR5 Sport Package. 58695 miles. Clean Car fax & never any accidents. I purchased this vehicle last year from my grandparents who summered in NH and went to Florida in the winter time. I recently found out I was getting a new job with a company vehicle and no longer need this truck. This is perhaps the cleanest example of a 2000 4runner I have ever seen. All the service has been meticulously done at a Toyota dealership. Serious inquiries I can email a complete copy of what has been done. I have clean title in my possession. Some things it has…. 2 sets of keys and fobs Sport Package which includes the Hood Scoop, Sunroof, & Locking Rear Diff USB/Pandora Kenwood Stereo Tow Package Factory alarm K&N air filter All manuals Original window sticker SOME…and I stress SOME of the recent service history… New Michelin At2 tires less than 7k miles ago New brakes 10k Diff fluids Water Pump & timing belt the list goes on and on and as I said I will provide to serious inquires only. Interior: I would rate a 9.5/10. It is really almost flawless… the drivers floor mat is the worst of it…. Exterior: Please see my pictures. There are 2 or 3 scratches/nicks that could honestly be left alone or touched up if you really wanted to. There is a nick on the hood that has been previously touched up. Lastly on the left side of the upper rear tailgate there is a ding with a scratch that was touched up…. Very minor stuff for a 14 year old vehicle… Again see pictures. Overall the vehicle is 100% ready to go… I wouldn't hesitate driving it anywhere. This vehicle is 100% rust free-always garaged- just don't need it anymore. On Jun-02-14 at 07:25:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I've lowered the reserve some... I'm looking for a quick painless sale to make room in the garage.
I've also added some pictures of the undercarriage as well as the engine bay. The rust you're seeing is surface rust- mostly on the rear diff. You could eat off the frame rails and drivetrain. Hope this helps......Thanks Justin |

Toyota prices TRD Pro Tacoma, 4Runner
Fri, 01 Aug 2014Toyota is finally all set to drop more details about the upcoming off-road ready TRD Pro Series models of the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra after first revealing them in February. These trucks and SUV might not get the big engine and other mods that desert-stormers like the Ford F-150 Raptor have, but they are still a nice step up over the stock versions. All of the TRD Pro vehicles come as 4x4 models with Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs in the rear, TRD front springs, skid plates, black wheels, retro-inspired "TOYOTA" badging and TRD-branded floor mats and shift knobs on the inside. They're available in three colors: Inferno, Attitude Black Metallic and Super White.
The Tacoma hits the market first in early August with prices starting at $35,525, plus $885 for delivery, processing, and handling, for an Access Cab V6 with a six-speed manual. Opting for a five-speed automatic brings things up to $37,390 after the destination fee. A Double Cab with a manual goes for $37,320, or $38,300 for the automatic, after the delivery charges. The 4Runner follows in September with just a single trim priced at $41,110 - $41,995 after the charge - for the V6 and five-speed auto.
Toyota is holding off on revealing more about the Tundra for now. It's coming in the fall, but the company isn't announcing prices yet. We don't have to wait long, though. "Within the next month we'll reveal that," said Toyota spokesperson Sam Butto to Autoblog about the TRD Pro Tundra's price.
Toyota ready to design more heart-racing Prius
Sat, Jan 25 2014Long praised for its fuel economy and reliability, the Toyota Prius has been no stranger to less-than-flattering remarks about its styling and sense of excitement. In fact, the model is a regular movie punchline. For evidence, see Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys or, more recently, Ice Cube in Ride Along. Apparently, Toyota President Akido Toyoda is getting the message and is pushing for what's been translated as a more "heart-racing" design for both the Prius and the Camry, the Canadian website Driving says. The Camry and Prius accounted for about a third of Toyota's US sales last year. With the Camry as the best-selling US model for each of the last dozen years, Toyota US head designer Kevin Hunter noted at the Detroit Auto Show last week that the Japanese automaker is looking for a "more emotional" design for the boxy sedan. The Prius redesign may have more constraints, as aerodynamics have to be factored in to ensure top-line fuel economy for the world's best-selling hybrid. Toyota used the Detroit show to show off the FT-1, a concept that many consider a preview of the new Supra. How this "Future Toyota 1" will affect the Prius and Camry redesigns, whenever they appear, remains in question but we like where things are headed.
Oh, Kei Go: Toyota set to enter JDM minicar market?
Fri, 01 Oct 2010Toyota is looking to get bigger... by going smaller. The Japanese automaker is looking to enter the kei car market, a popular segment in its homeland. Kei cars are small vehicles with restrictions on length (11.15 feet), width (4.86 feet), engine size (660 cubic centimeters) and power output (63 horsepower). Currently, Toyota is the only Japanese automaker not producing vehicles for this segment, but that is set to change, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
Thanks to its relationship with Daihatsu, Toyota can jump right into the kei car game. Daihatsu is one of the largest producer of kei vehicles and it is currently owned by Toyota.
Although kei cars are restricted in terms of size and power, they are not restricted by technology. Automakers utilize different drive configurations, powertrains and amenities to keep their cars fresh. Daihatsu and Toyota plan to work together to produce Toyota-branded kei cars. The two companies will utilize Toyota's knowledge of electric and hybrid systems to produce efficient little vehicles for the Japanese market.
