1996 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4. The owner of this vehicle brought it to our local Toyota dealership for "running rough". It was diagnosed by the Toyota mechanic having a bad head gasket. The owner authorized the Toyota dealership to do the work, and then later on while the heads were being sent out to be resurfaced, she decided to buy a new Toyota and trade the 4runner in on her purchase. The dealership decided not to replace the head gasket and received the heads back and stored them in the rear of the vehicle. ALL of the engine components are present. This was done by a certified Toyota technician. Everything else was working well before the "running rough" issue happened.
Basically, you will need to resurface the heads, and replace the head gasket. All of the parts are stored in the rear of the 4runner, or buy yourself a used/remanufactured engine and drop it in.
The vehicle is still at the Toyota dealership and will need to be picked it from there via tow truck.
This vehicle has original paint and all original body panels. The paint is oxidized on the hood and the roof of vehicle. The body is excellent and the tires are good. The interior is good with wear on the lower drivers seat. (see pics for details).
The CarFax and AutoCheck are clean with NO accidents, nor discrepancies.
This is a 4x4

GM, Audi, Jaguar halt Russian sales amidst ruble's collapse
Fri, Dec 19 2014The value of Russia's ruble currency has sunk like a stone tossed in the Volga for much of the year, losing over 40 percent of its worth since June. The change is having bizarre effects on the auto industry there and leaving some automakers scrambling to adjust. According to Bloomberg, Russians are buying up luxury goods including automobiles at the moment to have a physical investment in case the ruble sinks further. However, with the money worth so little, the companies aren't making much from these transactions. Things are so dire that several automakers are temporarily ending deliveries until the situation stabilizes. According to Bloomberg, General Motors stopped sales on December 16 with no set date to start again. Audi did the same thing but with the intention to resume once it has adjusted model pricing. Jaguar Land Rover terminated business until December 19 to see how things changed. Toyota is increasing its pricing, as well, but keeping business open at the same time. Some automakers have subtly been reacting to the slumping Russian auto market all year. The moves have included Volkswagen cutting production by 30,000 units from its factory in Kaluga. Ford also got rid of 950 workers from two plants due to low demand. Some analysts have even speculated that the contracting industry and possibility of lower import duties into the country could cause companies to end their manufacturing in Russia completely.

Tue, 30 Jul 2013Raising A White Flag To The Competition
We all benefit from highly competitive battles. In the automotive sector, few campaigns are so closely fought as the decades-long struggle for supremacy in the fullsize half-ton pickup truck segment. The Ford F-150 has dominated for ages, but Chevrolet, Ram and GMC have been closing the gap with freshly redesigned trucks that are rocking the industry.
Today's half-ton trucks are better than they've ever been, and we have fierce competition to thank for that.
Toyota FT-86 Open Concept would make a mighty fine droptop FR-S
Tue, 05 Mar 2013There's nothing wrong with going topless. And Toyota is proving that its FT-86 (read: Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ) coupe is just as excellent with its roof removed. It may only be a concept, but this FT-86 Open previews a new droptop from the Japanese automaker to round out the Toyobaru sports car family. We're finally getting the chance to see the open-air FT-86 in person here at the Geneva Motor Show, and we're already yearning to take it canyon-carving.
Interestingly, the FT-86 retains the Toyota coupe's two-plus-two seating arrangement (we'd prefer a proper roadster setup here), but things still look good for this droptop two-door. We'll be curious to see how the car looks with its folding soft top in place (operated by fancy-shmancy electronics, by the way).
As for production intent, rumors have been flying about a production Scion FR-S convertible, but until we hear it directly from Toyota. Consider our hopes in check but our fingers crossed.
