This 4Runner does not have any leaks and it is VERY clean inside & out! It has spent its entire life in Arizona and is rust-free! It runs and drives excellent, and it has been well maintained. The engine, transmission, and transfer case have never been overhauled. Everything works as it should except the driver's door lock; the power actuator works intermittently (so sometimes you have to use the key). The paint on the hood is oxidizing. There was one minor accident which required repainting on the lower left-rear passenger door, but it's not very noticeable. The four 'circles' in the rear hatch were a result of setting a set of wheels on plastic, and the carpet was temporarily indented when I took the pic. Local buyers are welcome to see/drive this 4Runner before placing their bid. The vehicle is in northwest Phoenix, not far from I-17 and Loop 101.
We will NOT ship this vehicle. However, we are willing to meet the winning bidder at Phoenix "Sky Harbor" International airport (PHX). A $500 non-refundable PayPal deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Remaining balance must be paid in CASH within 7 days of auction end. If you cannot comply with these terms, then this isn't the vehicle for you.
I've been on eBay for 12 years and have 100%-positive feedback rating. Bid with confidence! Please ask any and all questions BEFORE you place your bid. Thanks, and good luck!

Audi, Toyota land on MIT's list of 50 Most Disruptive Companies
Sat, 23 Feb 2013MIT Technology Review, a magazine all about innovation, has announced its list of the 50 most disruptive companies in 2013, and both Audi and Toyota made the cut. While the term "most disruptive" may carry a negative connotation in most uses (especially in the classroom), the acknowledgement in this case is an accolade, signifying that the company is at the forefront of its industry. In a nutshell, a disruptive company is a business whose innovations force other businesses to alter their strategic direction.
Audi made the list for "pushing autonomous cars closer to fruition with a laser-scanning road detector that fits in a vehicle's front grille," and Toyota for "expanding its dominance of the hybrid-car market with its new plug-in version of the Prius." Click on the image above to be taken to the original graphic at MIT Technology Review, where clickable colored squares reveal information about each of the 50 winners, compiled from a variety of industries.
Scion FR-S Convertible (in Toyota GT86 form) spied in South Africa
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Though the eventual existence of a convertible version of the Toyota GT86 (and its Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ versions for America) is a no-brainer, we've yet to get a glimpse of the real-deal car until now.
Spotted in Cape Town, South Africa, of all places, this completely undisguised GT86 convertible seems to be in a remarkably advanced state of development. The image seen here was obviously sniped from quite a distance and without the aid of a powerful lens, but we can still make out a production-ready looking piece of rear bodywork for the convertible top to hide away in, as well as a functioning trunk lid. It's hard to make out with any certainty, based on this evidence, but there does seem to be space retained behind the front seats for two, small rear chairs.
With the first car spotted, we'd expect to seem some more and better images of it flow through in the near future, and if not, Toyota has already confirmed a concept version for next month's Geneva Motor Show, dubbed FT-86 Open, so stay tuned. For now, click through to the FT86Club.com forum to have a slightly closer look at the images.
Jay Leno goes offroading with the legendary Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Jay Leno takes a step outside of his cavernous garage for this latest video for a jaunt into the desert to get a little dirty. He meets up with off-road racing legend Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart, who has multiple Baja 500 and 1000 wins in his motorsports career, to play with a Toyota Tundra in the sand.
Unfortunately, Leno doesn't get to interview Stewart too deeply about his long history in racing, but Ironman does talk a little bit about reading the trail while speeding through the desert. In lieu of a great conversation, there is a ton of high-quality footage of the Toyota bounding through the desert.
This clip feels more like a marketing effort than the usual output from Jay Leno's Garage, but it's still great to see Stewart behind the wheel sliding a truck, just like old times. The two of them even take the truck on a somewhat humorous journey at the end of the video.
