1995 SVT COBRA WITH 41K ORIGINAL MILES. RELISTED WITH BUY IT NOW PRICE REDUCED! RESERVE LOWERED! CLEAN CAR FAX. RUB YOUR EYES... YOU ARE NOT DREAMING. IMAGINE YOURSELF ROLLING THROUGH SPRING AND SUMMER IN THIS FINE RIDE. WARNING: THIS IS NOT A LOW PROFILE SLEEPER. EVERY HEAD TURNS WHEN THIS BEAST CRANKS UP WITH THE BEAUTIFUL SOUND OF THE COBRA MOTOR. IT IS TASTEFULLY MODIFIED AND UPGRADED FOR FUN, DEPENDABILITY, AND INCREDIBLE DRIVABILITY. IT IS NOT A MONSTER HORSEPOWER DRAG RACER THAT CANNOT BE DRIVEN ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THIS IS ONE FINE MACHINE WITH LOTS OF SPORT TOURING CAPABILITY BECAUSE OF THE EXPENSIVE EFFORT TO MAKE IT BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. THE MONEY SPENT AND THE PREPARATION TO GET THIS CAR TO THIS POINT IS HARD TO DESCRIBE. TO START IS THE EYE POPPING PAINT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A FINER PAINT JOB THAT WAS NOT IN A CAR SHOW. IN FACT, THIS CAR WAS BEING PREPARED FOR THE CAR SHOW CIRCUIT AND SPENT MANY YEARS IN HEATED/COOLED GARAGE STORAGE BEING DRIVEN ONLY TO KEEP IT FUNCTIONAL. THE SUSPENSION IS TIGHT AND LOWERED JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT. TAPPING ON THE THROTTLE IN 1ST OR 2ND AND YOU GET THE BACK TIRES TO CHIRP. GIVE IT THE GAS AND IT WILL DO A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN CHIRP! THE INTERIOR IS A DELIGHT WITH ALL THE LIGHTS, BUTTONS, ACCESSORIES WORKING AND EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. POWER WINDOWS, POWER DRIVER SEAT WITH POWER LUMBAR, CRUISE CONTROL AND ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING MAKE THIS A COBRA WITH MORE THAN JUST A TOUCH OF LUXURY. THE WEATHERSTRIPPINGS ON THE DOORS ARE SO TIGHT IT IS EASIER TO LOWER THE WINDOW WHEN CLOSING THE DOOR. THAT'S A TIGHT FIT! NO SURPRISES OR DISAPPOINTMENTS.
REMEMBER WHEN YOU BID, YOU ARE CONTRACTING TO BUY THIS CAR. NO MONEY? NO BIDDING! THERE IS NO WARRANTY WITH THIS SALE. CAR IS SOLD AS IS FOB LONGVIEW, TX. ALL STATEMENTS MADE ARE TRUE AND CORRECT ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE AT TIME OF BIDDING.
THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN REGISTERED SINCE 2000 WHEN WE PURCHASED IT EARLIER THIS YEAR. WE TOOK IT STRAIGHT TO OUR TRUSTY MECHANIC WHO GAVE IT THE THOROUGH INSPECTION AND IN DEPTH PREPARATION FOR BEING DRIVEN (INVOICES TOTALED $2,100.00 FOR THIS VISIT). PULLED THE BRAND NEW WHEELS AND TIRES TO CHECK SUSPENSION AND BEARINGS. ALL FLUIDS CHANGED AND SAFETY CONCERNS WERE ADDRESSED. THIS PRECAUTION WAS TAKEN WITH NOTHING FOUND OTHER THAN A ROUGH IDLE (OLD GASOLINE) AND SOME SERIOUS HESITATION WHEN ACCELERATING. THE MECHANIC FOUND THERE WERE LIGHT BULBS NEEDING REPLACED, TURN SIGNAL SWITCH, FREON WAS LOW IN A/C, ETC. AS WE LIFTED THE CAR IT WAS OBVIOUS THIS WAS NOT A LOW BUDGET RIDE. THE SUBFRAME CONNECTORS, THE EIBACH SPRINGS, THE BRAND NEW CROSS DRILLED ROTORS AND COBRA R WHEELS AND TIRES WERE JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG. WE PULLED THE ENTIRE FUEL TANK OFF TO CHECK THE FUEL FILTERS AND FACTORY PUMP. THE GASKETS WERE NEEDING REPLACEMENT SO WE REBUILT THE TANK AND PUT ON A BRAND NEW COBRA FUEL PUMP.
THE BEAST THEN CAME ALIVE! THE FLOWMASTERS MADE SOUNDS THROUGH THE BBK HEADERS THAT ARE MUSIC TO A MOTORHEAD. IT WAS HARD TO BELIEVE THIS 5.0 WAS STOCK INTERNALS BECAUSE WHEN WE GOT IT DOWN AND DROVE IT FOR THE FIRST REAL TEST DRIVE WE FOUND IT PULLS LIKE A TRACTOR AND CANNOT GET TRACTION IN 1ST OR 2ND IF YOU ARE MASHING ON IT. GOOD THING THE BRAKES ARE UPGRADED.THIS THING STOPS ON A DIME WITH GREAT PEDAL FEEL AND SOME SERIOUS BRAKING POWER... WHOA BABY!
THE GEAR RATIOS ARE STOCK (IT LOAFS AT 22OO RPM AT 70MPH IN 5TH GEAR OVERDRIVE). IT GETS WELL OVER 20 MPG ON THE HIGHWAY. SOME SAY THESE CARS CAN GET 25 MPG BUT I HAVEN'T CONFIRMED THAT NUMBER. THIS CAR IS WAYYYY TOO FINE FOR MY SON TO JUST BANG AROUND IN THE PARKING LOTS AT COLLEGE (SORRY ABOUT THAT SON!) SO WE ARE PUTTING IT UP FOR SALE. THE RETAIL VALUE OF THIS CAR WITH 41K MILES ACCORDING TO ONLINE ESTIMATES IS $15-17K. THE AMAZING THING IS THIS WILL MAKE ALL THE OTHER 1994-1995 COBRA'S LOOK WEAK BECAUSE OF THE ULTRA FINE PAINT JOB AND THE TASTEFUL MODIFICATIONS.
YOU CANNOT GET QUALITY LIKE THIS FOR LESS! THIS IS THE CAR YOU'VE BEEN WAITING ON... SPRING IS HERE AND IT'S TIME TO SLIP OFF THE 7 LAYER CUSTOM CAR COVER (INCLUDED WITH THE SALE) CRANK UP THE 5.0 COBRA MOTOR, PUSH THE DOWN BUTTON FOR THE WINDOWS AND LISTEN TO THE 5.0 MAKE MUSIC WHILE YOU ROW THE GEARS. IF THAT GETS BORING YOU CAN PUSH THE POWER WINDOWS UP AND FEEL THE ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING AND LISTEN TO THE 600W SUBS GO BOOM BOOM BOOM. THIS CAR ATTRACTS MORE ATTENTION THAN CURRENT SHELBY GT500'S BECAUSE IT IS RARE, FINE AND... WELL IT'S JUST GOT THE STANCE AND SOUND THAT ONLY COMES FROM THE LEGENDARY 5.0 COBRA MOTOR.
THE NEGATIVES: ALL OF THESE ARE MINOR ISSUES - 1. THE THROW OUT BEARING MAKES A NOISE THROUGH THE CLUTCH PEDAL. ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC THIS IS CHARACTERISTIC OF THE FORD FACTORY NON-ADJUSTABLE CLUTCH CABLE SYSTEM ON THE 1995/5.0 ENGINE. HE SAID HE HAS TRIED REPLACING CLUTCH, PRESSURE PLATE AND THROWOUT BEARING ON THESE MODELS AND THE NOISE WOULD STILL BE THERE! THE CLUTCH IS FINE BUT THE MINOR NOISE IS SOMETHING I WOULD WANT TO FIX WITH AN AFTERMARKET ADJUSTABLE CABLE KIT OR MAYBE EVEN A WHOLE NEW CLUTCH WITH ADJUSTER. 2. THERE ARE TWO DOOR DINGS FROM PARKING LOTS. JUST TWO! BUT THE PAINT IS SO FINE THESE REALLY SHOW UP WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING. ONE IS 3/4 INCH AT THE CHARACTER LINE ON THE DRIVER'S DOOR JUST BEHIND THE MIRROR. THE OTHER IS 1/4 INCH ON THE PASSENGER DOOR A LITTLE FURTHER BACK. 3. IT NEEDS A NEW RUBBER GASKET ON THE RIGHT FRONT TURN SIGNAL. 4. THE DRIVER'S POWER SEAT HAS A BROKEN PIECE IN THE SEAT TRACK. I AM ORDERING A REPLACEMENT NOW AND IT SHOULD FIXED BY 04/20/14 UNLESS IT SELLS BEFORE THEN. 5. THE DRIVER'S SEAT BACK LATCH HAS THE PLASTIC BUTTON MISSING. 6. THE STEERING WHEEL IS 1 OR 2 NOTCHES OFF CENTER. THE FRONT END MEASUREMENTS ARE ALL PERFECT AND IT DRIVES STRAIGHT AND TRUE WITH NO VIBRATIONS. 7. IT'S A LITTLE BIT TOO LOUD FOR ME. I LIKE TO HEAR THE HEADERS THROUGH A MODEST MUFFLER. THE FLOWMASTERS DRONE A LITTLE AT CRUISING SPEED BUT NOT ANNOYINGLY SO. BUT IT SURE DOES MAKE AN AWESOME SOUND AT START UP AND TIPPING IN THE THROTTLE. YOU CAN EASE AROUND FAIRLY QUIETLY BUT YOU CANNOT GO UNNOTICED WHEN YOU MASH ON IT. IT'S L-O-U-D!
THE EXTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS ALMOST A 10 OUT OF 10. THE INTERIOR IS A 9 OUT OF 10. THE DRIVETRAIN IS A 9 OUT OF 10. IT'S NOT PERFECT BUT IT IS BY FAR THE BEST 1995 COBRA I HAVE EVER SEEN OR DRIVEN. THIS CAR IS ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE AND FOR SALE LOCALLY, HOWEVER, YOU CAN END THE SALE IMMEDIATELY WITH THE BUY IT NOW PRICE.
THANKS FOR READING AND GOOD LUCK ON BIDDING. CONTACT ME THROUGH EBAY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ARRANGE SHIPPING. I HAVE SOME IDEAS AND ADVICE THAT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY AND TIME WHEN CHOOSING A SHIPPER.

For 25 years, Tony Joslyn's entire life has orbited around motorcycles. After getting into bikes at an early age, Joslyn turned his passion into Road Rash, a salvage house where Joslyn would buy and sell two-wheelers and their parts. He wasn't picky with his workings, either, as he has accrued motorcycles across a huge range of decades and brands. And now it's all up for sale. Suzukis, Yamahas, Harley-Davidsons, Hondas, Kawasakis, and more from the '60s, '70s, '60s, '90s, and '00s are all currently listed on K-Bid.com. There is a variety of size, styles, colors and setups, and a press release says most of the bikes are 'complete and ready for restoration or a tuneup." For Joslyn, the collection just became too much to deal with after all these years. "It's time to clear the herd and slow down," Joslyn said in a release. "Once it starts to feel like a job, you lose some of the joy. I'm looking forward to getting back to working a few motorcycles now and then. ... It's hard to pick a favorite out of the collection, as I am partial to all of them, but I've always enjoyed the Kawasaki 3-cylinders." The bikes are located in Clarks Grove, Minnesota, directly south of Minneapolis roughly near the Iowa border. Interested parties can visit and inspect the bikes before purchasing, and there's plenty of time to do so. Open now, the auction will close October 2, 2019. This content is hosted by a third party. As an automaker, Suzuki may be long gone from American shores, but it's still a force to be reckoned with in its home country of Japan. At this week's Tokyo Motor Show, the brand known as much for its two-wheeled fare as its four displayed a slew concept vehicles for both drivers and riders.
The first is the Crosshiker concept (above), which Suzuki says is a followup to the Regina concept that debuted two years ago at the Tokyo show. Based on the same platform but elevated to the stance of a crossover, the Crosshiker is motivated by a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine, keeping it eco-chic while appealing to adventurous types with its fun styling.
Next up is the X-Lander Concept (above, left) that Suzuki says was made for use in the city and "sometimes go out to play in the field." Based on the Japanese-market production Jimny, the X-Lander features four-wheel drive and a hybrid powertrain with a 1.3-liter engine.

Suzuki might be gone as an automaker in the US, but the brand is still driving along in other parts of the world. In fact, it even has new products in the pipeline and among them is a replacement for the venerable Jimny compact SUV (better known as the Samurai in America). The last all-new Jimny hit the market back in 1998, but the little SUVs have grown quite a cult following, especially in the UK. Farmers love them because the compact vehicles can go just about anywhere, thanks to a relatively high ground clearance, small size and four-wheel drive. With the new generation due in 2017, according to Top Gear, that's nearly 20 years of hard work for this off-roader. Though, Suzuki refreshed the Jimny slightly for the 2013 model year (pictured above) across the pond with a revised front end. Don't expect the future iteration to go soft, though. Unlike the similarly long-lived Land Rover Defender, which is rumored to be a bit friendlier in its next generation, Suzuki wants keep the model's abilities as capable as possible, while adding some modern assistance systems. "The next Jimny will be an evolution. It will follow the same recipe. When you see it you'll know it's a Jimny," said the automaker's UK sales boss Dale Wyatt to Top Gear. "If you were a sheep farmer in the Scottish hills you'd see the car is perfect; no argument to change it." If all these promises about the future come true, we might get to hear about the Jimny driving around the world or pulling a huge truck out of the snow for many years to come.
