US $3,495.00
Year:2001 Mileage:159000
Location:

Jamison, Pennsylvania, United States

Jamison, Pennsylvania, United States

Offered is this 2001 Toyota Sienna mini-van.

I bought the van from a friend about 18 months ago and am the second owner, I used it lightly while I had it and no longer need it.

The van has a bit under 159,000 miles.

The van is in good condition, runs and drives great, quicker than I figured a mini van would be. The engine is good, no knocking or grinding. The transmission shifts smoothly, no issues. The body is good, a few scratches, dings and scuffs, no major damage, no rust, clean and sturdy underside. Almost new tires with 90% tread, new breaks and rotors. The van has power everything, the power side door seems to work when it feels like it. Most everything in the van works as far as power options and the interior is in good condition. The van is equipped with a towing hitch. There is a bit of staining to the carpet in places but there are mats that cover up the discolorations pretty well.

The van has a DVD player under the driver seat and a TV built into the ceiling for back seat viewing. I turned it on for the first time the other day, the TV turned on but didn't want to recognize the DVD player for some reason. I spent all of 60 seconds playing with it so it may work correctly if it's troubleshot by someone with more extensive knowledge.

There has been an issue with an O2 sensor and from what I understand it's a pretty common problem. The sensor was replaced a few times before I bought the vehicle and I had it replaced again it last summer to get the check engine light off. By March of this year, the check engine light was on again for the same sensor. The light goes on and off so I'm not sure what the deal is. I have the paperwork on the replaced sensors and most if not all of the vehicle's maintenance over the years verifying the part has been replaced time and time again.

There is also an issue with some knocking from the rear break drums, another common problem but not a major one from what I understand. Basically, the van knocks a bit from the rear end when coming to a hard stop. I've read it's more of an inconvenient thing to have to listen to rather than a major maintenance problem.

Payment due within 7 days of sale.  I would prefer check, money order or cash. All checks must clear before the vehicle can be shipped.

Buyer is responsible setting up shipping and for all associated shipping costs. Local pick up is okay too.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me by message or phone (570 499 1524) my name is Frank.

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally

Wed, Apr 22 2015

Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:

This is the facelifted Suzuki SX4 that we won't get

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

The car you see above is, according to China Car Times, the facelifted Suzuki SX4 crossover. We've always had a soft spot for the SX4, so the fact that it's finally getting a significant update makes us a wee bit sad - after all, Suzuki just announced late last year that it's leaving the US market, so we'll never get this upgraded little 'ute on our shores.
Changes we can see include aggressively resculpted lighting units, interesting mold lines on the front bumper cap, redesigned air intakes and unique trim fillets on the doors.
At least we can take solace in the fact that there apparently aren't any significant alterations under the new bodywork, so our crop of used SX4s should be just as capable out on the road. In China, Suzuki's 1.6- and 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines are expected to carry over to the new year, along with the current model's CVT and manual drivelines.

The Suzuki Misano is a concept car inspired by motorcycles

Mon, May 3 2021

Lately, concept cars have become showcases of touchscreens and batteries, but remember not that long ago when they used to get you excited about automobiles, driving, and design? Now Suzuki, of all companies, has unveiled a concept that brings us back to the stirring show cars from a bygone era. The Suzuki Misano is a low-slung, open-top sports car that asks the question, what if there was a four-wheeled motorcycle? Inspired by the Japanese firm's long history of high-performance two-wheelers, the Misano seeks to "merge the adrenaline rush on two wheels with the driving experience on four." The Misano caps off a thesis project for 24 students of transportation design at Istituto Europeo di Design Torino with collaboration from Suzuki. It has a footprint of 157 inches by 69 inches, or about the length of a BMW i3 and the width of a VW Polo. Its height, however, measures only 39 inches, about 50 percent shorter than a Toyota Yaris hatchback. Like concept cars of old, the Misano does pack in one wacky idea that has no chance of making it into production. It offers a tandem 1+1 seating position, even though it's wide enough for a side-by-side construction. Not only that, but the seats are off to one side. We would've expected a side-mounted motorcycle engine on the other, but it actually contains a trunk and small battery pack. Presumably, the Misano is an EV. This content is hosted by a third party. In lieu of a steering wheel, the car is controlled by what the IED statement calls a motorcycle-inspired yoke. Clear openings in the doors provide a view of the road that only a motorcycle can match. It's not the first time Suzuki has answered the question of a four-wheeled motorcycle. In 2001, it showed the Hayabusa-powered GSX-R/4 concept, which featured a more traditional seating position. The Misano is just the right amount of beautiful design and bonkers-ness that makes you wish for an alternate universe where it would make it into production. But alas, we know it'll be a miracle if Suzuki ever makes a sports car again. If you happen to be in Italy and want to check out the Misano for yourself, it will be on display at the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile di Torino from Saturday May 15th to Sunday June 6th 2021.
