Thanks for checking out my 2001 E46 M3 6 Speed Manual Laguna Seca Blue. I cannot begin to tell you how many people stop me on a daily basis to give me the thumbs up or ask me what color it is. In my opinion Laguna Seca Blue is the best color option for the E46 and to be honest I don't remember the last time I saw another one on the road. The title is rebuilt however when I ran the carfax it did not show an accident. I had my mechanic perform a full and complete inspection prior to purchase and if there was an accident, it was repaired perfectly.  The frame is straight and drivetrain is sound.  If you've been researching about E46 M3's you know they typically have the same issues which are expensive to fix. In this case you don't have to worry. I've spent a lot of money recently on maintenance. All major e46 m3 issues have been addressed within the last year which includes: - Rod Bearing Recall - Vanos System serviced - Brand new rear Subframe  - Receipts included This M3 also has a few extras - Gruppe M Air intake ($2100 new) - Superchips ecu software - Turner front shock supports  - UCC shifter  To make this car perfect I was going to refreshen the interior seats and steering wheel and fix some paint chips around the front bumper, tow cover and a scratch on the passenger side rear panel however I have another project going on. All lights, electric mirrors, heated seats, power windows/sunroof are all in perfect working order.  Please remember this is a 13 year old and I definitely would recommend a PPI as all sales are AS IS.  Please ask as many questions as you'd like as I'll answer them to the best of my abilities.  I have receipts for all the work I've had done and will gladly put you in touch with the shop that performed the work.  Thanks for looking.

Suzuki Jimny displays Samurai spirit in Japanese snowstorm

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Say what you will about its smallest SUVs, but you have to hand it to Suzuki: the likes of the Samurai, Sidekick and Vitara were doing the little-sport-ute-that-could thing long before most of the rest of the industry caught on. And the formula remains relevant enough that Suzuki is still selling the same basic Samurai overseas as the Jimny.
That could be why the Samurai still has something of a cult following. Well, that and the name - which, as it turns out, may not have been such a stretch after all. A Samurai warrior, after all, was just one man - but like any other knight, he was worth more than his headcount on the battlefield. Or in this case, a Japanese snowstorm. Just watch the half-minute video below to see what we mean.

Motorcyclist lucky to escape with life after 100-mph crash

Wed, Feb 10 2016

A motorcyclist tried to run from the California Highway Patrol in San Diego in the wee hours of February 9, but things didn't quite work out as he planned. In fact, the fleeing rider is lucky to be alive after colliding with a Kia at over 100 miles per hour during, ending, rather abruptly, the pursuit. The video on The San Diego Union-Tribune below shows the collision, but you might need to watch it a few times to see what happens. The bike shoots by in a flash, and then there are suddenly sparks when the cycle hits the rear of the car. Watch the left side of shot to see the rider standing by the median after the crash. Police quickly arrive to the scene to apprehend him. The guy is wearing a helmet but understandably appears to be in pain after the high-speed accident. The crash ripped the front end off the rider's Suzuki, but the Kia's driver wasn't harmed – though clearly shaken. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, police took the motorcycle rider to the hospital to treat undisclosed injuries. What's Now: A motorcyclist going at least 100 mph slammed into the back of a car on I-805 early this morning. Remarkably, he was left standing on his own two feet before being arrested. VW, Suzuki mulling rekindling relationship in face of legal battle

Sat, 27 Jul 2013

Volkswagen and Suzuki have been undergoing marriage counseling in a bid to avoid finalizing their nasty divorce. The blissful union has been troubled for some time, with Volkswagen claiming that it could affect operational decisions at Suzuki, and the Japanese brand's sniping and constant flirting with a certain Italian temptress causing rifts.
The matter first went to court in 2012, when Suzuki demanded VW get out, and leave its 19.9-percent stake in the Japanese brand in a box to the left. Now, Automotive News is reporting that the company will give the relationship one last shot, according to closed-door dealings between the two in London.
Still, it's understood that VW and Suzuki recognize the benefit of their alliance, and that it'd be in the best interests of the kids both parties to make things work. Spokespeople declined to comment to AN, but the newsmagazine spoke with Frank Biller, an analyst for LBBW in Stuttgart, who said, "Both companies stand to benefit if they can overcome the disagreements over leadership claims."
