Here's Another NO RESERVE auction for a 2006 Suzuki Forenza. Available from C&J Auto. Here's the best part. We are going to sell this gas saver at the end of the auction for whatever it brings.! This car is in need of mechanical engine repair. It MOST LIKELY has a bad head gasket- at the very minimum. It also makes a noise that sounds like a stuck lifter, or rocker. It is driveable onto a trailer or transport. I drove it around far enough to see that the transmission shifts good. I did not see steam coming from the tailpipe and it doesn't seem to be making oil and coolant milkshakes. Expect the worst, and be happy if it's something simple. This 2006 Forenza is going to sell, NO MATTER WHAT IT BRINGS!
IMPORTANT: If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you MUST contact me before placing a bid. Either call first @ (970) 214-0979, or contact us through the upper right "ask seller a question" button on this listing. We welcome and certainly appreciate your business, but we absolutely need to know we are dealing with a legitimate buyer planning on following through on their purchase. By placing a bid on our vehicle, you are entering a legal binding contract to purchase the vehicle. This means if you are the high bidder at auctions end, you agree to purchase it, and you own it. (not inspect & think about it later). I have never been to an auction anywhere where this policy is any different. We have had a few people win top bid and experience buyers' remorse. Oh sorry, I changed my mind, wife won't let me have it, don't have the money, thought it was new, don't like the paint, etc.etc.etc. . ....Well, it doesn't work that way !?!?. Folks, the time to inspect is BEFORE you buy! Understand, We still owe the Auto auctions for these vehicles. It still costs us a week of our time answering questions and $$+ in ebay listing fees, -they do not refund us. We are a small mom and pop business and do not have the time, nor the extra money for those games. Be ABSOLUTELY sure you are able to follow through on your bid. We will take ALL legal actions necessary to protect our interests should it need to come down to that. I know this all sounds terrible, but unfortunately it must be said for the few that have ruined it for the rest of us. Thanks for understanding.
Brief Description. The body is in average to above average condition. It has a a few scratches, dings, etc... but nothing horrible.(I would rather describe it worse than it is, to avoid any disappointment). The car is completely rust free. You guys from the north east don't see vehicles like this at home! I see no evidence of any sheet metal / panel replacements. There are 24 pictures of this Suzuki that should illustrate and cover most of the questions or cosmetic issues. The interior looks amazing. The seats are all in very good to excellent condition. The carpet is nice overall. All the gauges seem to be working properly. The brakes stop excellent like they should. The underside is as rust free as it gets. Interior wise, the windows roll up and down, and all the door handles work. Radio is inop. , or I can't figure out how to work it. Horn works, lights all seem to work, heater works, Air conditioning doesn't blow cold, so I'm assuming it needs recharged. The gauges all seem to work correctly. The tires are Michelins and look as new. The steering doesn't pull or wander, or shimmy. All emissions equipment is in place and un-tampered with. The glass is all good. Overall, this is one very nice looking gas economy car that should make the next owner happy. Don't miss out on this, get your bids in early! Since I am only human, there's a good chance that I've missed some small or even large stuff. If there's something specific important to you that hasn't been addressed, please contact me and I'll try and get you an answer. My name is Chris, my cell # is (970)214-0979.

We have sold Many, Many cars, trucks, and SUV's here on Ebay and have maintained an exceptional feedback rating. Understand we are not trying to hide anything and WANT you to know EXACTLY what it is that you are bidding on. As you can imagine, with any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief listing description. I'm absolutely sure the vehicle will need some kind of minor work or maintenance (just like any other used vehicle out there). Please be realistic on your expectations. We do not perform restorations on these vehicles. We try to tell you of problems we notice. If there is something important to you that has not been covered, PLEASE ASK questions and I will try to get you the answer A.S.A.P. We have maintained an exceptionally good positive feedback rating here on Ebay since 2001. We are not going anywhere, and are in this business for the long haul. PLEASE review the pictures carefully, as they are invaluable to show possible cosmetic things you may want to know about. .........PLEASE feel free to ask questions!
This is a used vehicle being offered by a licensed Colorado dealer. All used vehicles are sold As-Is / No warranty. Any applicable tax, title, and registration costs are not included in the sale price. If you are a resident in the State of Colorado, a Dealer Handling fee of $99 will be added to the final sale price to cover the costs of emissions testing, as well as, the additional paperwork required by the State of Colorado for title purposes. A Free 60 day temporary license tag is provided if requested. The final bid is the sale price. There will be no set asides, allowances, or haggling after the auctions end. This vehicle is also offered for sale off our lot, so we reserve the right to end the auction early if obviously necessary. I believe you will find our prices hard to beat with ANY comparable / year/ mileage/ condition truck. That doesn't mean this is written in stone and I am not willing to listen to offers. Please contact me at (970) 214-0979 for any questions not already answered on here. For us to end the auction early, it will require an immediate $500 deposit thru Paypal and Full payment thru bank to bank transfer within 24 hours. We can safely store this vehicle for free for up to 3 weeks (or even longer) after full payment has been received.
Who are we and how can we be contacted? We are C&J Auto Sales located at 288 N. Garfield Ave., Loveland Co. 80537. My name is Chris and my wife's name is Jen. We are a small family owned business that has been selling to the public for approx. 9+ years. (By small, I mean just my wife and I). We keep our overhead as low as possible. We also purchase most of our reconditioning parts off Ebay to support the community that has supported us so well throughout the years. My wife and I both wholesaled for several years before that, so we are not new to the business. My phone # is (970) 214-0979. I would say the best way to contact me (if you have a specific question about a vehicle) is through Ebay "ask seller a question" , (as I am rarely standing right next to a vehicle that you may be interested in, ready to give an on the spot description). I do check my email often, and will give you an answer back ASAP.
Shipping. All shipping costs and arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. We will gladly assist the shipping company of your choice. I cannot recommend any shippers, so please understand YOU will need to find a shipper. Obviously, the vehicle will not leave our possession until full payment has CLEARED. We can deliver the vehicle to a shipping terminal within 50 miles for an additional fee (to cover time and expenses). Vehicles need to be picked up within 3 weeks of auction end unless previous arrangements have been made. You are more than welcome and encouraged to pick up the vehicle in person, straight off the lot. As a licensed Colorado dealer, we are legally CLOSED on Sundays. (State Law). Please make sure you do not show up for delivery on a Sunday. If you prefer to fly in/ drive home, the airport you would be arriving at would be Denver International Airport (D.I.A.) There is a very convenient shuttle going north into Loveland from the airport. Check out www.supershuttle.com/en/DENAirportShuttleFortCollins.html IMPORTANT: I will be happy to pick you up from the shuttle drop off point for free here in Loveland,..... BUT..... Please contact me ahead of time to make SURE our schedules don't conflict.
Inspections. I highly encourage inspections on all vehicles offered, either in person, or by a hired professional. This is to satisfy YOU. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and THAT may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or specific tests for ANYTHING. This includes emissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. Again, YOU ARE BUYING A USED VEHICLE AS-IS/ NO WARRANTY. All descriptions given are a general observation based on very limited contact with the vehicles. Our definition of nice may not be the same as someone else's. It's just a matter of opinion. I will say, however, we have been able to maintain an impressive positive feedback rating here on Ebay which doesn't happen by accident or by trying to swindle people. (Especially when dealing with used vehicles that people sometimes expect to be new). I buy, as well as, sell on Ebay and don't like giving or getting surprises. I do not offer any vehicle on here that I have not personally driven. I also believe the listed vehicle would be sound enough for a cross country trip, based on the limited driving I've given it. Unfortunately, I do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict when something might fail. One thing I've learned for sure in this business .... Anything mechanical can break down at any moment. By choosing to drive any used vehicle cross country, you are taking a significant calculated risk. If you are unsure of that option, shipping may be the best. You should expect to do some type of basic scheduled maintenance or repairs to any USED vehicle listed on here, or for that matter, anywhere. The one thing I can promise you FOR SURE is that ANY used vehicle you buy will need something. In conclusion, it is ULTIMATELY the buyer's responsibility to have fully satisfied themselves as to the overall condition of the vehicle.
Titles: We are a licensed bonded, and insured Colorado motor vehicle dealer. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have a clear Title. (meaning no lienholders). We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage. We also occasionally need to title these vehicles in our business' name if they are from out of state and do not have room for any further reassignments. This may take up to 30 days, and we have no control over that, as we are at the States mercy . The bottom line is: you will receive a transferrable title to the vehicle either at the time of purchase or usually within 30 days by mail. We have never run into any instance where we could not eventually get a title for our customer.
***Please keep in mind that mileage may increase slightly from local customers inspecting and taking test drives.
***By winning auction/ purchasing this vehicle from C&J Auto Sales, the parties of this transaction agree that all legal proceedings regarding, or in any way related to this transaction, shall only be filed in Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, and no place else.
***Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to Ebay and negative feedback will be posted.
***Preparing, listing, and managing these online auctions costs real time and money. Please have all your financing in place before bidding.
***We are selling the above stated vehicle outright. We are not offering financing or accepting any trades on this vehicle.
***Please do not contact me concerning reserves on vehicles listed. Figure out what the vehicle is worth to you, and bid up to that amount.
***PAYMENT. These auctions are a significant part of our family's livelihood and we rely on it's results to make ends meet. For that reason, the auction is taken VERY seriously. Please make sure you don't have any reasons that would prevent you from following through on the transaction. This includes the required deposit, which is due within 24 hours of auctions end. The complete remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auctions end. We DO NOT accept any credit cards. We do prefer bank to bank electronic transfer because we have never run into any issues that way. It also posts immediately. Cashiers checks are also acceptable. Cash in person is obviously never turned down!
***You MUST be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid USA drivers license to purchase this vehicle. We CANNOT sell a vehicle without a valid drivers license.
***If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you MUST contact me before placing a bid. Please don't take this the wrong way, I realize everyone starts out here on Ebay as a Zero feedback member. I would love to talk to you in person if you have any questions about bidding on/ buying our vehicle. Please feel free to contact me if you are truly interested in purchasing. This ensures that I am dealing with a serious bidder/buyer and keeps the auction fair for everyone involved. Thank you for understanding, bid often, and best of luck!

American Suzuki gets $100M in financing to go out of business... buy more cars?
Fri, 07 Dec 2012American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC), which declared bankruptcy in early November, has been approved by the courts for up to $100 million in debtor-in-possession financing to enable it to shutter its US car business. ASMC had received a $45 million loan from the Japanese parent company, Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC), last month in order to make repayment deals with its franchise dealers. At the same time, ASMC was awaiting final court approval of this larger loan.
Out of the newly approved funds, $50 million can be used for operations, and oddly, the other $50 million can be put toward purchases of new inventory from SMC. That's right, even as existing inventory was headed for a smooth exit with the help of incentives, customer demand for orphan Suzuki models is so strong - last month's sales were up 22 percent compared to 2011 - that ASMC plans to purchase 2,500 additional cars from SMC that were built after the bankruptcy announcement. Good news for the owners of those vehicles: the top 50 dealers, representing more than 98 percent of ASMC sales, will become parts and services centers.
The press release below has more information. Unlike its recent tenure here, the end of Suzuki cars in the US looks like it's going rather well.
Suzuki and Daihatsu join Toyota electric vehicle venture
Wed, Jul 21 2021TOKYO — Suzuki Motor Corp and Daihatsu are joining a commercial electric vehicle coalition led by Toyota Motor Corp, the carmakers announced on Wednesday, helping the Japanese alliance expand its focus from trucks to smaller cars. The two automakers will each acquire a 10% stake in the joint venture, on par with Isuzu Motors and Hino Motors, while Toyota will hold a 60% stake, they said. "With Suzuki and Daihatsu joining the project and working together, we'll be able to expand our circle of cooperation to not only cover commercial vehicles but also mini vehicles," said Toyota President Akio Toyoda. "With this expansion, I believe that we'll be able to take one step closer to a better mobility society," Toyoda said. The move comes as Japanese automakers face growing competition from tech giants and other rivals making electric and driverless cars. Toyota, Isuzu and Hino launched the Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies Corporation in April to bolster their competitive edge in connected, commercial vehicles. Daihatsu's president Soichiro Okudaira said joining the pact and introducing connected, mini-commercial vehicles would allow data sharing, a major benefit for companies to provide better services to customers and improve logistics efficiency. American motorcycle brands most satisfying, Japanese most reliable, says Consumer Reports
Fri, Apr 10 2015Consumer Reports started tracking motorcycle reliability last year through its regular reader survey, just like the magazine's well-known auto guide. For the 2015 edition, CR now has data on over 12,300 bikes, compared to 4,680 in 2014, and the extra info means it can include more brands, like Suzuki, Triumph and Can-Am, to the list. However, the final results remain largely the same. As with last year, Japanese bikes are the best choice for buyers who prioritize reliability. Yamaha comes out on top yet again and is followed by Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda. Victory and Harley-Davidson hold the middle of the list, and the European cycles from Triumph, Ducati and BMW sit at the bottom. The major outlier in this regional distinction is the Can-Am Spyder from Canada's Bombardier Recreational Products that comes in dead last in the dependability survey. Still, even the most dependable model is occasionally going to break, and the average repair bill across all brands is $342, according to CR's readers. Kawasakis are the cheapest to keep on the road at a median of $269 for fixes, versus BMW as the most expensive at $455. Through all of the companies, electrical gremlins are the most common issue, causing 24 percent of problems, but faults with the cooling system, pistons or transmission are the smallest concerns at 4 percent each. While Japanese cycles might be the easiest to keep on the road, they aren't the most beloved by riders. In CR's gauge of satisfaction, the Americans reign supreme. Victory owners love their bikes the most with 80 percent reporting that they would buy another. Harley riders are known for having a close bond to the company's models, and the brand comes in second with 72 percent. Finally, Honda rounds out the top three at 70 percent. Head over to Consumer Reports to see more results. News Source: Consumer ReportsImage Credit: Toby Brusseau / AP Photo BMW Honda Suzuki Motorcycle Ducati bike victory
