Hello, i'm selling a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi with 44,000 original miles.  Exterior has minor dings (all shown in pics) and the interior is very clean.  All maintenance has been done regularly and the car was well looked after.  The car has been tastefully modified for performance using only quality parts.

Mod List:
Factory Boost Gauge
Factory Short Throw Shifter
SPT intake
PnL custom front mount intercooler w/ Tial Q Bov
Samco turbo inlet
20g turbo
Perrin headers
Helix downpipe
NUR Spec-R catback (Car is LOUD)
Perrin Braided Fuel lines and injectors
Turbo Timer
Cobb V1 AP
Car has fairly new ContisportContact 3 tires. 7/10 tread life

This STi is in amazing shape mechanically.  The motor runs smooth, the transmission shifts effortlessly with zero grinds and the clutch grabs strong. Everything was professionally installed and tuned by a reputable shop (PnL motorsports).  After everything is said and done the car wraps up to around 340whp on a conservative 93 octane tune.  The car also comes with a secondary 100 octane tune, both professionally tuned by PnL.

The front bumper on the car does not fit flush because of the size of the front mount intercooler (as seen in the pics) but it is barely noticeable. There is also one incident recorded on the AutoCheck from front left fender damage that occurred in 2004 while it was still new on the dealer lot, but the car was since flawlessly repaired. The Carfax does come up absolutely clean as does the cars title.  Other than that the car has zero accidents and is in beautiful condition.

I will stand by this car in the event the buyer is unhappy upon pickup and will allow cancelation of the sale. Although once the car is accepted and in the buyers hands there is no warranty stated or implied and the car is sold AS-IS.

A nonrefundable $500 dollar deposit is required within 48 hours of closing.
Full payment can be made with a Cashiers Check or in Cash.
Winning bidder can pick up the car whenever, but the title will not be signed over until the check has cleared.
I am willing to work with the buyer in regards to pickup.

Any and all questions are welcome as I am happy to help the buyer make an informed decision.

Thank you for looking an have a nice day.

Ward's announces 10 Best Engines 2015

Wed, Dec 10 2014

Ward's Auto has named its 10 Best Engines for 2015, covering a range of powerplants from fuel-sippers to fire-breathers. As with past years, forced-induction reigns supreme, with seven of the ten engines featuring a turbo or supercharger. This year is slightly different, though, as two of the seven blown engines are turbocharged three-cylinder mills, from the Ford Fiesta and Mini Cooper. They're joined by the 2.0-liter turbo four from the Volvo S60, the 1.8-liter turbo four from the Volkswagen Jetta and the 2.0-liter boxer from the Subaru WRX. BMW and Chrysler were the only marques to be named to this year's list twice, with the electric motor from the i3 joining the Mini's three-pot, and the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 in the Ram 1500 and Jeep Grand Cherokee repping the diesel crowd, alongside a certain supercharged monster. Hyundai also took a prize with a zero-emissions powertrain, with the Tucson FCV's 100-kilowatt fuel cell making the list (apparently Ward's is quite generous with what it deems an "engine"). Rounding out the list are two Autoblog favorites, each displacing 6.2 liters, but producing their power very differently. On the one hand, Chevrolet's overhead-valve, 455-horsepower V8, found in the Corvette, makes its power the old fashioned way. And in the other corner, we have one of the most exciting engines of the year – the 707-hp, 6.2-liter, supercharged Hellcat V8, featured so prominently in the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat. "We spend a lot of time reading the powertrain tea leaves throughout the auto industry, and we're proud that this year's list is a microcosm of all the latest innovation coming from automakers," said Ward's Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter in a statement. "It's not just a list for enthusiasts or for environmentalists," he says. "There's something for every vehicle shopper and every budget. All the powertrains on this list deliver a first-rate driving experience," Winter added. Scroll down for the full list from Ward's, and let us know which engines you think belong and which should have been included in this year's rankings. Autoblog's ultimate holiday rides

Tue, Dec 16 2014

Over the hills and through the woods, it's the time of year when many of us visit family and friends for the holidays. But getting there can be a chore. It's cold and snowy across much of the United States, and even if the climate is favorable, the drive to grandmother's house often is not. Think back to holiday road trips of yore: They probably included crying babies, antsy children, hungover adults and frequent bathrooms stops all around. Now, we're all at different life stages here at Autoblog, and the perfect car for one staffer might be as useful as a team of Budweiser Clydesdales to another. Some of us bounce from family event to family event with children and a labrador in tow, while others prefer a quieter, simpler holiday. But whatever the endeavor, we all need wheels. With that in mind, here is the unofficial Autoblog list of the ultimate cars in which to tackle the holiday season. 2015 Ferrari FF To borrow a chestnut from Top Gear presenter James May, "As you'd expect, I've done this properly." That oddly voluptuous ruby bolide in the photo above? It's a 2015 Ferrari FF – all 652 all-wheel-driven horsepower of it. What makes a Ferrari the ideal for holiday time in PaukertLand? My Midwestern winter breaks are wonderful, but they're typically frenetic and slushy, involving a lot of schlepping from house to house and even city to city, not to mention inevitable last-minute runs for forgotten presents and dinner ingredients. Needless to say, a powerful V12 is a welcome ally for such duties. And this one isn't just a friend when the road is clear. The FF has been gifted Ferrari's novel 4RM AWD system, and despite sitting lower to the ground than, say, an SUV, it's a pretty effective tool for real winter driving, especially when outfitted with a set of snow tires. Unlike other Ferraris, it's also a rather practical thing, with legitimate seating for four adults and 15.9 cubic feet of cargo space – that's precisely as much room as a Mercedes E-Class – and you can fold the rear chairs and cram 28.2 cubes-worth of holiday cheer in the back. Okay, so it's far from cheap and fuel economy isn't that great, but who cares? Just drop a paddle-shifted gear or two, bury the throttle and Repeat The Sounding Joy. Ain't the holidays grand? – Chris Paukert Executive Editor 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe My Mom gives out more presents than any other human being I've ever encountered.

2015 Subaru Outback

Wed, 22 Oct 2014

Realistically, many enthusiasts give horrible, horrible car buying advice. They will recommend something bizarre, inappropriately high performance, compromised or utterly impractical for a given consumer's needs, and they'll almost never recommend something that makes sense. And then they'll come up with 3.7 million reasons why the leading vehicle someone is thinking about is a bad choice.
Or maybe that's just what I do.
Regardless, if you poke, prod, bother or just get us drunk enough, eventually you'll begin getting honest feedback. And more than likely, we'll tell you, in hushed tones, about the many virtues of very, very boring cars. We'll talk about why the Toyota Camry is actually a pretty decent purchase or we'll explain how spacious and feature laden the Nissan Versa is.
