This is a one owner well cared for 2004 Subaru WRX STI with only 20,200 miles on it. It has always been garaged and never raced. No pets, no smoking, this car is almost like new. Excellent condition inside and out. Never any maintenance issue. Runs very well.

This is an excellent car with very low miles miles. I am the original owner, this has had no problems ever, just needed the oil changed when needed. Note I am 58 years old and this is not a car that someone has played "fast and furious" in while driving. My wife would never allow me to even have fun accelerating fast with her in it, LOL. Carfax report all good, has no liens, clear WA title. This car is for the person who wants the look and performance of the original Rally Blue Sti, but was not able to get one 10 years ago, like I did. It is a great collector car for the future.

I have the original gold factory BBS wheels with excellent tires for summer, but now it has a set of near new Bridgestone Blizzak's mounted on Sport wheels set up for fun in the snow. It has dealer installed front and rear Australian performance Whiteline strut braces and Cobb stainless steel down pipe with high flow cat converter for extra torque and hp. Still using factory cat back for quieter sound. New battery, HD 4 ga. wiring for better spark control. Factory subwoofer and 6 disc CD changer.

With only 20,200 miles this car is a rare find for a great collectible, fast, and popular car that could go up in value over time. The dealers had a very hard time getting these new and had several thousand premiums on the sticker price when I bought mine. I am looking for the serious person who wants to enjoy one of these like I did.

2015 Subaru WRX STI headed for Detroit, more WRX details leaked

Fri, 15 Nov 2013

The debuts of the 2015 Subaru WRX and the Legacy Concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week are kind of hogging the Subaru spotlight, making it easy to forget that there is a more potent, more aggressive version of the small sedan waiting in the wings. And based on a rumor from Australia, we'll see the sportier WRX STI at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
The report comes from Motoring in Australia, which claims that a more potent version of the WRX will make its debut in the Motor City, and that it will do so with an even 300 horsepower (five fewer than the current STI) and 290 pound-feet of torque (identical to the current car). Aside from the more potent 2.5-liter turbocharged flat four, the STI should boast the regular spread of aesthetic upgrades and suspension, brake, chassis and transmission tweaks.
The standard all-wheel-drive WRX will sprint to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.

Are you the Subaru WRX Concept for New York?

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

When Subaru dropped a hint about bringing an "all-new performance concept car" to the New York Auto Show this year, we immediately started hoping and praying that a conceptual iteration of the next WRX was in the offing. Looks like that might have paid off. While no official word has yet been written or uttered from Subaru, a French website called Blog Automobile has released a gallery of images that would seem to spill the beans about the WRX Concept.
If the leaked images are correct - and they look awfully complete and well done if they're not - WRX styling is taking a turn for the handsome. The sleek sedan in these images has all of the cues that we've come to expect from our rally-ready Imprezas: a dominating hood scoop and very wide stance with beefy wheels, and seems to miss only the rear wing to fit the perfect WRX stereotype. (And, yes, it should have gold wheels.)
There's no press release to be found, but the source is citing specifications as if it knows what it's talking about. We're told that 275 to 300 horsepower are the likely output of the turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine, and that brakes with ventilated discs and six-piston calipers are there to haul the all-wheel-drive Scooby down from speed. If our earlier reporting is correct, we might expect to find an electric turbo under that imposing hood, too.

2014 Subaru WRX and STI pricing announced

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

As the sun prepares to set on the third-generation Subaru WRX, Subaru has released the pricing for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI. With redesigned versions of both cars due out next year, prices for the current car have risen by just $200 across the entire 2014 lineup resulting in new starting MSRPs of $25,995 for the WRX and $34,495 for the more powerful WRX STI (*not including destination).
The destination charge has also crept up for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI models climbing slightly from $770 to $795. A final pricing adjustment for this bodystyle's send-off year is that the optional navigation system went from $1,000 in 2013 up to $1,100 for 2014. Scroll down for the full model pricing breakdown, and keep a lookout for the all-new 2015 WRX and WRX STI, which we'd expect to see in production form in the coming months.
