Black Subaru Legacy Gt Sedan Awd 5 Speed Manual Limited Heated Leather Loaded Il on 2040-cars

Year:2005 Mileage:168000
Location:

United States

I would rate this car as average to good.  I drive this car daily so miles on it will go up slightly.   It has been a great car, good on gas and dependable.  Currently has snow tires on it with gold aftermarket rims.  And a set of summer tires and rims will come with it.

Needs ac belt and possibly pulley/compressor.
Check engine light for an intermittent misfire(probably a coil or injector).
Has paint chips especially on the hood and a chip in the windshield (hasn't changed in 5 years) and a couple of small dents (hail).
Will need a timing belt at 190k,  Should get new spark plugs sooner than later.
Some wear on the interior, worst at the driver's door where I rested my elbow.  No rips in the leather.

I have an aftermarket uppipe and downpipe with a tune done.  This give a bit more power but increased fuel economy.

Subaru reliability and AWD/grip, manual transmission with turbo engine that has been babied (I rarely ever go above 3500-4000 rpm).  Interior in great shape for the miles, shows just a few wear spots, newer brake pads and rotors, new throttle position sensor, reliable and good gas mileage (approx. 24-26 mpg).

Only 2 owners and no accidents/clean title.

2017 Subaru Impreza sedan spied for the first time

Tue, Nov 3 2015

Subaru gave us a look at the attractive concept for the next-gen Impreza hatchback at the recent Tokyo Motor Show, but new spy shots present the opportunity to check out the production version as a four-door sedan. While camouflage makes the details harder to suss out, there are a few notable similarities. At the front, the concept's thicker grille and more angular headlights both appear present through the cladding. The shape of the A-pillar also looks alike. However, the visually interesting creases along the sides either aren't coming to production or are just very well hidden on this example. At the back, the taillight coverings suggest the C-shaped units from Tokyo might see production. In addition to the angular styling, the next-gen Impreza should see a mechanical overhaul by moving to Subaru's new modular platform featuring the company's more fuel efficient, direct-injected engine. Don't expect the brand's famous all-wheel drive to go anywhere. With production slated to move to the company's factory in Lafayette, Indiana, the latest Impreza should launch in the latter part of 2016 as a 2017 model. Hopefully we will get a better look at both the sedan and hatchback before then. Related Video:

Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).

2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition shows its shining face to the Detroit crowd

Tue, Jan 13 2015

The 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition is an easy model to spot thanks to its bright Sunrise Yellow paint. However, under the lights at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the shade actually looks a bit darker than the blazing tone from the original photos. Subaru is only making 1,000 of these shining models, and appropriately, they hit the market in the spring when the sun starts shining. Beyond the bright paint, buyers get a Crosstrek with a power moonroof, body-color folding mirrors and blackened headlight bezels. Inside, there's Subie's Starlink infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen and two USB ports. The all-weather package should make things easier on cold days, too, with heated seats and side mirrors, plus a windshield wiper de-icer. The whole package based around the 2.0i Premium trim rings up for $25,290, plus $850 destination and delivery.
