Up for sale is my Quartz Silver Metallic '08 Subaru LGT spec.B. I bought this car from an old man 2 years ago and have only put 12k miles on it since. Due to moving to a non-snow ridden state, I am looking to sell this beauty. The car has 75,664 miles on it as of today and won't gain more than a couple more as I'm leaving for vacation soon. The car is in great condition aside from road rash on the front bumper and one of the OEM wheels having wheel rash. The car is Stage 2 with the COBB Accessport (which will be included with the car as you cannot drive safely without the tune). I have installed the Invidia Q300 Cat-Back Exhaust and it sounds angry, but crisp. Because of Ebay's "no static link" policy, text me at the number below for the Youtube video link.

In addition to the exhaust I have installed Grillcraft Sports Grills on the top and bottom of the front grills as shown. These are a year old and scratchless. A clean fitting, custom boost gauge housing with boost gauge is shown to the top right of the steering wheel and is accurate at this altitude (can be adjusted). Lastly, a COBB short shift kit and knob are installed, allowing for precise, short shifting. The car's interior is like new - very well kept - aside from normal wear on the left side of the drivers seat. Custom WeatherTech car mats are beneath driver, passenger, and rear passenger seats. Side and rear windows are tinted to the darkest legally allowed in CO. All windows, moonroof, lights, electrical seats, GPS, stereo, and trunk are operational. Maintenance has been routine. Title is clean and in hand.

This car is great shape and the lowest mileage you'll find for an '08 spec.B Quartz Silver Metallic in the state. Text me with questions at 5one2-8six8-792one - Seth.

Toyota GT86 convertible on 'indefinite hold'

Sat, 05 Oct 2013

Bad news, sportscar fans. According to a new report from What Car?, Toyota has cancelled plans to produce a GT86 convertible, a model based on the FT-86 Open Concept that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. In truth, Toyota never actually confirmed it would produce the budget-friendly droptop in the first place, but rumors have been flying since last year and Toyota reportedly showed its embattled Scion dealers a FR-S version of the convertible in August. Presumably, this means that a lidless variant of the Subaru BRZ is not in the cards, either.
The reason for the move is unknown, though What Car? reports "one possible cause is weight; Toyota did say that further work would be required on rigidity before the convertible could be launched, and that could have added extra bulk that conflict with the regular GT86's ethos of light weight and agile handling." It doesn't look like that work will happen anytime soon, as "sources now say that the car has now been delayed indefinitely, with no place in Toyota's product plan in either 2014 or 2015." Still holding out hope? What Car? says the project could be "fast-tracked" if management decides it wants to reboot the program down the road.

Autoblog goes on an African safari, Subaru-Style

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

... And Learns To Love The Ostrich
Subaru may be the ostrich of the Japanese auto industry.
When one thinks of a safari, they naturally draw pictures in their mind's eye of wild animals, like lions, elephants and giraffes. I'm no different, and it was with visions of long telephoto lenses over vast runes and dunes that I embarked on a 19-hour plane ride from Phoenix, Arizona to Plettenberg Bay in South Africa, camera gear in tow.

WRX Concept styling may transfer to production Impreza, next WRX

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Remember the original concept that previewed the latest generation Subaru WRX? If not, then just look above for a gallery of photos following its debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show. We loved it, and thus, were sort of disappointed when we first saw the less-aggressive production model.
It's not that the production 2015 WRX is ugly, per se. It just doesn't have the gaping grille, four-door coupe lines or squinting headlights that give the concept so much verve. But as it turns out, Subaru might have realized that it was on the right track with the more assertive styling. Rumors coming out of Australia suggest that the shape could form the basis for the next-generation Impreza, and next WRX, along with a major platform shift.
Subaru chief designer Mamoru Ishii tells Motoring that that the next-generation car will ditch the rather utilitarian current design in favor of something more exciting. Like the WRX concept, the design will start wide at the bottom for an aggressive stance and taper up to the roof. That styling would likely get even more aggressive for the next 'Rex.
