Up for sale is my wife's 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited 5-door with the Moonroof Package. I purchased this car with my wife in March of 2011. I worked for a Subaru dealership at the time and sold it to her. We are the original owners and it has a clean carfax. We also purchased the extended 5yr/100k Subaru Factory Warranty! Additional Factory Installed Accessories: Remote Engine Start Rear Spoiler Aero Splash Guards Body Side Moldings All Weather Floor Mats Rear Cargo Tray Rear Bumper Applique We are selling this vehicle because I recently acquired a company vehicle and my wife is taking my 2013 Legacy 3.6R Limited. The Impreza has been a fantastic car with over 31mpg averaged. All services and recalls are up to date. We are non-smokers and my wife used the car to commute about 60 miles per day. I can count on one hand how many times the back seats were sat in. In addition to the factory warranty, this vehicle also has a Genuine Subaru Extended Warranty, bumper to bumper for 5yr/100k. It's the Gold Plus plan. We're sad to see this car go but we don't need to have 3 cars just for the 2 of us. Feel free to contact me for more information and to see/test drive the vehicle. They usually last between 45-50k so they have about 5-10,000 miles left on them. My plan was to get new tires towards the end of the summer. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Lastly, we still owe ~14k on the car. When the buyer comes for final payment, we can go to a local Chase branch for final payment and payoff the vehicle. 2015 Subaru WRX leaks out ahead of debut [w/video]
Tue, 12 Nov 2013The car you see above could, possibly, be the 2015 Subaru WRX, a car that isn't supposed to reach the public eye until next week's Los Angeles Auto Show. The leaked image has been circulating around the web, along with a brief teaser video of the new sports sedan (which you can see below).
The image, which AutoWeek reports may be (probably) a render, appeared on the Clubrz Facebook page, a Subaru fan group. It does fit somewhat with the teaser image we showed you yesterday, while featuring certain styling cues from the WRX Concept shown at the last New York Auto Show.
Now, we'd advise you take this with an appropriately sized grain of salt. We won't know for certain what the next WRX looks like until we're parked in an uncomfortable chair at the LA Convention Center. Still, take a look up top and let us know if the new WRX - which, we'll point out, has neither gold wheels, a big wing or World Rally Blue paint - fits with what you wanted to see. 2015 Subaru WRX gets down and dirty
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Looks rarely tell the whole story. We'll admit to being a bit let down by the Subaru WRX and its rather conservative appearance - where were the gold wheels and the spoilers? Hatchback? World Rally Blue? But after seeing it in this video and hearing that signature, throaty growl while this red example drifts and slides around dirt roads, we're starting to get more excited.
While the growl is the main reason for watching the clip below (you should do that now), Subaru has also thrown in some information about the improved suspension, and increased power. Learn along with us, below.
Subaru shows racing versions of STI and BRZ
Fri, Jan 9 2015While we gear up for next week's Detroit Auto Show, the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon is currently on going, and Subaru has marked the occasion by trotting out a pair of new racers. First up, we have the car shown above, with the company's entry to the 2015 Nurburgring 24 Hour Race. Subaru is entering a WRX STI in the grueling endurance race, which runs from May 14 to May 17. The left-hand-drive racer has received a fair crop of upgrades for endurance duty, although Subaru didn't really bother to elaborate on them, unfortunately. Next to the N24 car, Subaru introduced a striking version of its rear-drive BRZ, destined for the Japanese Super GT series. The team campaigning the BRZ will be led by Subaru's Hideharu Tatsumi, who will also be one of the drivers for the Nurburgring effort. Again, Subaru hasn't offered any info on technical changes for the BRZ GT300. The race car's performance such as aerodynamics, stability, body rigidity and engine output have been enhanced compared to the previous model. In addition, visibility for racing flags has also been improved by introducing a left-hand drive car. Like last year, Hideharu Tatsumi will take the helm of team operations as team manager, in addition to the development of the car. The drivers are Sasaki (Japan), Lasee (Germany), van Dam (Netherlands) and Tim Schrick (Germany), the winner of 2014 VLN endurance racing championship who newly joins the team. SUPER GT Series Subaru, with the "SUBARU BRZ GT300" race car, will participate in the SUPER GT series this year as well, widely regarded as Japan's top motorsports category.
