2006 Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti, Ultra Low Miles, 1 Owner, Florida Car!!! on 2040-cars
Bradenton, Florida, United States
|
This is the one you've been waiting
for!!!! One adult owner, ultra low
mileage (This is a completely unmolested car with an Autocheck score of 95, it just doesn't get any better then this!!) I purchased this car brand
new from Mastro Subaru in This car is in truly
exceptional condition. Absolutely everything works as it should on this car. No issues, no dissapointments. All it's paint is original, the interior is completely
stock, there isn't a single door ding on it. It's never spent a night outside,
never seen snow, ice or salt. What else can I say? If you've been holding out
for the right STI to come along, this is your chance... One day I'm going to
regret selling this car as they're going to become a serious collectors piece
very soon. This one is so good it belongs in Subaru of Americas own collection up in During my ownership, the car
has only had Mobil 1 oil changes, I've only ever used Shell 93 Octane in it,
and has only required a few service/maintenance items. I replaced the tires in
2012 with brand new and slightly wider (245/40/17) Yokohama S.Drives, Also in
2012 I replaced the front brake pads with StopTech pads and also replaced the
battery with a brand new genuine Subaru battery. The wiper blades were replaced
around the same time as well. To show you how detailed I am regarding this car, I kept
all the original parts removed (battery, brake pads, wiper blades, etc..) so if
the new owner wants them they're welcome to them. It has only two very minor
modifications, an SPT intake and a Prodrive muffler, which I did a couple of months after buying it. I still have and will
include the original airbox/intake. Unfortunately, I sold the original muffler
some years ago... It also has a very nice window tint all around that I had done right after I bought the car. As the car doesn't spent much time outside, the tint is still as new. Take a look at the all the
pictures, it really is that clean in person, it drives exactly as it did back
in 2006 when I drove it off the lot in 2006. The interior still has the new car
smell, it's never been eaten, drank or smoked in... Yes, I'm one of those
people who makes others take their shoes off when getting in my car. This car
has never even had a drink in it's cup holders!!! This has to be the closest
thing to a new 2006 STI out there, unless someone bought one and immediately
tucked it away in a warehouse somewhere. The pictures show a ScanGauge 2 velcroed to the top of the steering column. I use this to show MAP, intake air
temp, ignition timing and speed confirmation. The new owner can keep it or I'll
remove it if desired. The car has a clean/clear
Best of luck and don't forget that reserve auctions need to be bid on early and often to drive the bid up to the reserve price. Waiting until the end of the listing to bid doesn't work for reserve auctions. |

2019 Subaru Crosstrek Buying Guide | Specs, safety, and expert reviews
Thu, Nov 8 2018The 2019 Subaru Crosstrek is in its second generation, based on the fifth-generation Impreza platform, and was completely redesigned for the 2018 model year. The popular crossover is Subaru's third-best-selling model after the Outback and the Forester, and it received subtle updates, a more rugged appearance and some new technology for the new model year. Every Crosstrek comes standard with roof rails and alloy wheels with a machined finish and black-painted accents. Those wheels are available in either 17- or 18-inch sizes. The body sits atop a raised suspension that brings ground clearance up to an impressive 8.7 inches over the Impreza's 5.1 inches. Only the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk comes close to matching that clearance in this SUV segment. Three trim levels are offered: 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, and 2.0i Limited. All models can be equipped with an optional CVT. The base and Premium trims can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission. With this buyer's guide, Autoblog aims to help you make an educated decision about whether to buy the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. We'll include safety and reliability ratings, engine specs, fuel economy ratings and pricing. We'll also summarize what Autoblog's professional reviewers think of the Crosstrek. Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek safe? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gives the 2019 Crosstrek a five-star overall rating, the highest possible. It gave it four stars for frontal crash protection, five stars for side crashes and four stars in its rollover crash tests. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety hasn't evaluated the 2019 model, but it's virtually identical to the 2018 Crosstrek that was given the best possible rating of Top Safety Pick+. It scores a "Good" (the highest possible rating) in all areas, including the notoriously difficult small offset frontal crash test. It gets a "Superior" for crash avoidance when equipped with the EyeSight driver assist technology, and its optional headlights (when so equipped) give it the highest possible overall rating. We encourage you to visit the NHTSA and IIHS websites to review ratings on the specific vehicle you're researching. Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek reliable? Subarus are generally known for their reliability and longevity, and indeed, the company cites IHS Markit data that shows 97 percent of all Subarus sold in the past 10 years are still on the road. For third-party validation, we turn to J.D.
Subaru Ascent crossover's roofline revealed
Tue, Nov 21 2017Just recently, Subaru announced that the new Ascent three-row crossover would be revealed at the L.A. Auto Show. Along with the announcement came a teaser that didn't reveal much of anything. Now Subaru has released a second teaser, shown above, that is significantly more generous. The teaser gives us a solid look at the roofline and greenhouse of the Ascent. In general, it looks very much like a taller, more squared-off Outback roof, particularly at the back. But it doesn't quite look as upright as the Forester. The top of the front fender has a more pronounced shoulder over the wheel arches than either of those Subarus, too. Based on past spy shots, we're expecting the rest of the Ascent to continue the "big Outback" look. Expect a similar hexagonal grille and chiseled sheet metal as the Outback and the rest of the Subaru line. We'll get our complete look at the new crossover on November 28 at the L.A. Auto Show. Subaru Crosstrek Baja Racer is a glorious blue and gold liveried masterpiece
Thu, May 30 2019Subaru just revealed its new Baja racer, and it's the coolest one yet. The Crosstrek Desert Racer is now sporting Subaru's traditional blue and gold livery that we all know and love from the many years it was plastered on Impreza-based rally cars. It's hard not to be nostalgic on this one, and we just had to share it. This Crosstrek, which bears about zero resemblance to an actual Crosstrek, is being run in the grueling Baja 500 off-road race through the Baja California Peninsula. Crawford Performance and Grabowski Brothers Racing are running the show, hoping to improve on their second-place finish from last year. The vehicle has a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated flat-four engine built to produce 300 horsepower. It's great to see Subaru continue to expand the blue and gold livery theme to more motorsports efforts. At the 2019 Detroit Auto Show we got to see the same livery on an STI rally car destined for competition. Now this beast of a Baja racer looks ready to strike fear into the hearts of its opponents just the same. The vehicle itself is rather insect-like in nature with the suspension and lights sticking out everywhere. There's still no word on whether the team will try for the big Baja 1000, or just stick to the 500 for 2019. Regardless, it looks supremely capable, and must be an absolute hoot to drive.
