UPDATED MILEAGE REPORT IS NOT ACCURATE. IT WILL BE CORRECTED

Up for sale is my awesome STI. It is a true sleeper and does not bring any unwanted attention to itself. No fart can muffler, huge wing and its not lowered. It has a custom gt35r rotated turbo kit installed and tuned with many other GO FAST goodness!!! There are so many parts into this car I probably will miss a couple in my list below. The car just had a compression test done reading 150, 150, 151, 150, stock compression. I have most all the service records from the previous owner whom I still have contact. This car has been my daily driver for 2 years. While it is not the best on gas….I can drive it just about anywhere in any weather. I am selling my car because of a small business venture I want to explore and I need a truck.

I DO NOT HAVE THE TITLE. I am still paying for the car. My bank will work the transaction so that we are both protected during the purchase. I am the second owner

THIS CAR WILL NOT PASS EMISSIONS. ( NO catalytic converter or stock ECU) I do have the factory ECU. This car runs an AEM V1.

The car will be professionally detailed in a few days. Exterior will get a paint treatment to remove pits, road debris, tar, bugs, ect and waxed and high speed buffed to remove any swirl marks or dull spots that may have formed over the winter. Interior will get vacuumed, shampooed and treated.

My car has an incredible audio system in it! It has Hertz High Energy components front and rear, alpine 4 chan amp, pioneer head unit, alpine 1000 watt mono amp pushing an RE Audio 12 inch ported sub. Loud and crystal clear because the entire floor and doors are sound deadened. This audio system will only come with the buy it now option, otherwise just a radio and factory speakers will be installed.

Poor sales prompt Subaru to kill the Crosstrek Hybrid

Mon, Oct 3 2016

The Subaru XV Crosstrek is a major hit. It's high off the ground, offers enough seating for five, and has Subaru's iconic all-wheel-drive system, which is exactly what modern consumers want. As we pointed out last year, Subaru posted impressive sales figures thanks to its crossover lineup, which includes the Forester, Outback, and XV Crosstrek. It turns out, though, that Subaru owners aren't interested in the hybrid variant of the crossover, as Subaru plans to axe the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, reports Cars Direct. The discontinuation of the XV Crosstrek Hybrid is due to the crossover's poor sales figures, claims Cars Direct. Subaru introduced its first-ever production hybrid, the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, in 2013 and after just three years the vehicle is being killed. As we pointed out in our review of the vehicle, the hybrid's larger price tag and marginally better fuel economy made it a tough choice over the non-hybrid models. The XV Crosstrek Hybrid starts – sorry, started – at $27,245, while the base 2.0i model has - had - a price tag of $22,445. That's $4,800 more for a vehicle that gets seven mpg better in the city and only three mpg more on the highway at 30 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. We reached out to Subaru for a comment, but haven't heard back yet. We'll update the story when we hear back from the automaker. Toyota GT86 GT4 racer is ready for UK competition

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

It's about time we saw someone cook up a legitimate race version of the delectable Toyota GT86, and now it looks as if GPRM has done just that. The Buckingham-based race engineering team has built the creation you see here, complete with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder boxer cooked up by Nicholson McLaren Engines. The team says the new mill delivers between 360 and 400 horsepower to the rear wheels depending on final testing, which is a sight bit more than the 197 horses the naturally aspirated stock mill offers.
The car will compete in GT4 events, including the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Technically, the GPRM effort isn't factory backed, but the team says the effort "has the blessing of Toyota Great Britain." How could it not? You can check out the brief press release below below, and be sure to take a closer look at the machine in our gallery.

This or That: 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 vs. 2005 Subaru WRX STI [w/poll]

Thu, May 7 2015

Some cars, due to ultimate desirability, particular rareness, or spectacular performance/prestige eventually become collectible. It's darn near impossible to know which ones will make it into the rarefied stratosphere of collectibility – why is a late 1960s AMC AMX so affordable these days, whereas prices for late '70s Pontiac Trans Ams are soaring? – but there are some useful indicators to keep tabs on. We're not exactly experts on investing, but we do know cars. As such, we've decided to take our non-expertise on one hand, combine it in the other with our knowledge of all things automotive, wad it up, throw it out and ask for your forgiveness. Or something like that. I've challenged Senior Editor Seyth Miersma to choose a car he thinks will become a future collector's item that's not more than 10 years old, and for no more than $25,000. I've done the same, and we vigorously argued for and against each other's picks. I feel good about my choice, but I don't have the best track record in these contests (I've lost three times, won twice, but they've all been pretty close), so, while I'm not going to beg (please vote for me!), I do hope you find my argument convincing. But first, let's hear from Seyth: Miersma: Ten-years old or newer makes this challenging. At that age most vehicles feel like a plain old used car to me, few hit the "classic" button. But the Subaru WRX STI has always been a special car, and the 2005 cutoff year proves to be very attractive for the parameters of our contest. It's rare; with fewer than 5,000 STI models sold that model year. It's probably the best looking WRX STI ever sold in America; narrowly avoiding the dreadful "horse collar" front fascia. And it's got one of the more die-hard car-geek followings out there. For $25,000, you can also still find examples that have reasonable miles, are in good condition, and haven't all been molested by grown-up Initial D wannabes. With the street racers hacking up collectable examples every day, I like my odds for steep appreciation by way of conservation. I couldn't agree more. It really is difficult to predict what cars will catch the eye of collectors, and the WRX STI seems like a pretty good choice. But I think mine is even better, and I can't let him know that I'd love to park just such an STI in my very own garage. And so goes my argument: Korzeniewski: I like your choice as a driver, Seyth. I'm less convinced of its status as a sure-fire collectible.
